The best restaurants in England

Not putting up with this place any longer... Waiting time NO PROBLEM as nobody in Carlisle orders from here... Easily the worst take away in Carlisle (beats crusty cobbler on thus award)... changed names many times to escape the awful food rating.... been in news for health and safety many times... AVOID AVOID AVOID

New Mexican takeaway on the A6. Ordered for collection. Ordered a quesadilla, heavily loaded Pablo chips, and nachos. Quesadilla was lovely, could have eaten 2 of those. Pablo chips were let down by the chips themselves, needed to be skin on fries style, but the loading was good and meat was tasty. Staff inside for collection were absolutely lovely. Website needs improving, lack of images and it's not clear exactly what you're getting, had to ring to ask questions before ordering. Could do with upping their game to the same level as Cubanacho in Walkden.

Google says 24 hours - it is not

This was honestly the worst Chinese ever,I only ordered chow mein and duck spring rolls. The chow mein was so sloppy,no crunchyness , didn't even taste nice cold!! The duck spring rolls,were burnt,clearly just been pinged,would never recommend and would never come back!!!

A humble yet delicious restaurant that is the very incarnation of a 'bar mleczny'. The staff were very welcoming and attentive whilst the food arrived in very good time and in generous proportions. An absolutely wonderful find!!!

We're booked at the hotel on a spa break and dinner was part of the package. Have just finished a really lovely meal at Genevieve's restaurant. Food was great - had the lamb shoulder and my daughter had the beef rendang, both were delicious, and really generous portions. We were served by Amy R, who did an excellent job and was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.

The cashier was rude I had my cash frown at me even when I used my manners but the food was great ps you could use alittle plants here and there

The most amazing Starbucks I’ve ever been too, the location is lovely and the store itself has so much character to it, my drink was made perfect by the friendly and helpful staff! The lady helped me pick out a coffee and she was so knowledgeable about coffee, it was so nice to actually talk to someone who not only knows everything about what they are selling but so passionate too! The store was clean and tidy, couldn’t fault it! I really enjoyed my coffee and reading my book here, made me feel like I was sitting at home! Will definitely be back when I’m in Saffron Walden next!

Purchased a takeaway via Deliveroo to celebrate a birthday. Found a huge, sharp shard of bone in my partner's meal, along with loads of tiny pieces making it inedible. Contacted Kokoro but they never bothered emailing or calling back. Poor kitchen practices and terrible customer service.

Sign on door says closed and assets removed. Real shame as the only wage beef burger joint around. Understand the York one has closed too. Sign of the times.

I ordered from here about a week ago on just eat, myself and my partner cake and custard, halfway through my cake I noticed mould on my spoon, then looked at the bottom of the cake container and it was full of mould! My partner had already finished his cake but was the being sick all through the night and next morning so his probably had it too!
