The best restaurants in England

Not at all busy when we visited at 14.00 on a Friday. Bacon or sausage baps tempting but advertised as only available until 11.30. Saw someone eating a Cornish pasty only to be told that they had the last one. They did have jacket potatoes. As far as cakes were concerned there were 2 pieces of Victoria sponge, 2 of chocolate cake and 1 scone. Clearly not too many coach parties anticipated. I asked if, as it was Christmas and not at all busy, it would be possible to break the 11.30 pork curfew and was told that it would be possible to have 1 bacon bap but sausages a bridge too far it seemed. I suppose one should be grateful for very small mercies however puzzling. On the positive side they do proudly advertise cold sausages as well as ice cream for dogs. Whether I could have had one of these sausages heated and made into a hot dog I thought best not to ask. It seems to me that The National Trust really should provide a better service for its loyal members, not to mention potential future members who may well be put off signing up by such a lacklustre welcome. Ordered Thai Green Curry. Absolutely inedible. Ridiculously spicy, chemical taste and not a hint of coconut milk, just a stodgy gelatinous corn starch mess.

Love the pearl garden.. great food, always very tasty!!!... lovely staff friendly and chatty! Reasonablely priced too! They also deliver ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Klassisches Dorfpub. Sauberkeit lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig, aber gute Auswahl an Draftbier. Sehr freundliches Personal.

I would give no stars if I could. The food ordered wasn't what I ordered. Tried to contact but phone rings off straight way. Payed through just eat there no support either. Spent half hrs choosing starters two curry's and starter with sides yes was hungry. To be delivered, one curry chips and doc pepper drinks.

La loncha de filete y yum yum eran pequeños y mala relación calidad-precio. El té era una vergüenza, te ponían la leche y apenas la ponían. Lo recuperé por más leche y eran religiosos. No voy a volver.

Here for breakfast, friendly staff, attentive service. The pub serves a good value well cooked breakfast for a good value price.

I regularly bob in either xscape or junction 32 Starbucks for a coffee! Lovely staff in both stores. Tasty drinks. Prices a tad expensive. Really happy they’ve brought the pumpkin spice latte back early from popular demand but charging £5.65 is ridiculous! You can’t justify spending that much on a coffee! Really not fair to do that to us customers.

Food here is good, but I don’t like the drinks, probably the worst flat white I have ever had. I don’t rate this pan e for drinks at all!

Compramos una pizza cada uno para llevar y comer al lado del Támesis. Diez de cada diez. Pizzas encantadoras. Y a un precio muy razonable. Volveremos.

Very poor salted caramel frappe, next to no flavour as there was hardly a drop of syrup in the drink. Would not recommend this outlet.
