The best restaurants in United Kingdom

I was down from London, staying in Worthing with my bestie for the weekend. We had a table booked for Sunday lunch. The staff and service were fabulous. The food, Fish and Chips and the additional trimmings was just delicious, the presentation amazing. The portion sizes are a fantastic added bonus. As soon as I arrive in Worthing, my friend books us a table purely because your restaurant is second to none! We are never disappointed. The food is so lovely I'm spoilt by it. There's no comparison in London! Extra compliments to head chef Jimmy. Congratulations on your food sir. Well done to the whole team. Thank you from Rose and Dee for our beautiful lunch. Friday lunch at Wrestlers is an absolute highlight of my week! The food is delicious, hot and the service is lovely!

Really great food and atmosphere, almost perfect - but being charged £5 for a slice of bread (was cut in half) did jar, come on you’re better than this!!

We haven't been to Jack in the Green for quite some time, but we were tempted back by the pub classics menu. The food proved to be excellent value given the quality of ingredients and flavour. The service was very good and the atmosphere in keeping with the experience you'd expect. Overall, we were very impressed and will be returning soon.

The staff and venue was impeccable but the food let the experience down. The French Onion Soup wasn’t hot and the topping very sparce. I had the chicken supreme. The plates were freezing, as was my asparagus. The chicken was that dry I had to rag it apart to eat it. The menu was French in gesture but what arrived was disappointing. I’m sorry to write this review but if we’re paying £16 for a French Onion soup, it needs to be special …. and the food hot and moist They did say sorry and let us have the drinks without charge.

First visit here and very impressed. We had such a warm welcome when we arrived and shown to a table. Each server who attended our table was friendly and helpful. I am all about the service and this venue has aced it. A wide selection of food. We had open sandwich (smoked salmon and there was plenty) and sirloin ciabatta both were super. Lovely atmosphere too. Will be back.

Everything really good except for one strange thing. On checking the bill more closely later I found that I had been charged 1p each for the three glasses of TAP water given for "Service". If I'd known that at the time, I'd have taken 3p off the 15 pound tip I gave at the end. One pettiness deserves another?

Shocking service from such a reputable company using unlicensed cars and subcontracting their guests out to dodgy companies. No wonder complimantary service.

Best pasta I tried in my life! I am not a big fan of pasta, however the day special: pasta melanzane is a life changer. This is my first time trying a fried egg plant which was a big surprise it can be that good! The texture and flavour everything in this dish is amazing . Now I know why some ppl doesn’t have to put any meat in the pasta, the egg plant do all the work . The staff are really friendly the service is amazing. Most importantly: they are dog friendly for seating outdoor

Very good taste of Pho, i also eat spring roll. I recommend this restaurant for you guys that want eat Vietnam. Ita a great choice

There was plenty of choice on the menu, whether you want something traditional or something a bit different. We all enjoyed our food, the service was attentive but we didn't feel rushed. Would definitely go again.

The best view in Paignton - sits on the harbour. We often visit when we are staying at the family flat nearby. Always very fresh fish well prepared and friendly service. Our recent trip was up to standard - only let down by the weather! Will remember to pre-order lobster next time

We stopped by this cozy restaurant on our way back to Edinburgh from Inverness, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. Our dinner was absolutely delicious, the dessert was brilliant, and the coffee was superb – truly authentic Italian. The prices were very reasonable, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
