Kisa's in Perth & Kinross

First visit here and very impressed. We had such a warm welcome when we arrived and shown to a table. Each server who attended our table was friendly and helpful. I am all about the service and this venue has aced it. A wide selection of food. We had open sandwich (smoked salmon and there was plenty) and sirloin ciabatta both were super. Lovely atmosphere too. Will be back.

Excellent service and wonderful food. Warmly recommend. Best to book ahead. Returned six months later and ordered exactly the same, it was so good.

Love this restaurant, eat here every time visiting Perth.

£3.30 for a soda and lime, nearly £11 for garlic bread with cheese. Nothing sizzling about our two portions of Gambas pil pil as described on the menu, merely cooked prawns in what we could say was a garlic and chilli oil, very bland. We upgraded to the dauphinoise potatoes, that when they were served on the plate, there was close to a 200gm block of them covered in melted cheese, that was simply melted, no colour or taste. Dauphinoise potatoes don’t come with cheese, that’s gratin dauphinoise. To make it worse, one came with mash instead of the dauphinoise, and by the time it was corrected, the three of us were more than half way through our meals, then sat and waited for my wife to finish. Obviously she said it was fine. The waiter forgot to bring us the dessert menus and then the final bill, both times having to wait a while then ask someone else for them. Did I complain? No, I would have but my wife told me to accept it as it was my daughters birthday so not wanting to ruin it for her. Gladly my daughter was happy with what she ate. £3.30 for fizzy water and lime cordial….. really!!! A pint of Tennants was £5, so how the comparison.

Not been here for a while, so we decided to have lunch while shopping in Perth. Lovely friendly welcome, and we were seated straight away on a high table, which was already set however thd waitress took the glasses, cutlery and napkins away, which we thought was strange, as we needed everything for our meal. She then had to bring the glasses back for our wine and water. When our food arrived, we had to ask for cutlery. Thd food was delicious but the service wasn't the best. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, though.

The adult menu was fine and quality of the food was good. The front of house staff was friendly, polite and prompt. However, I find it hard to understand how they justify charging over £10 for children's main courses. The children's chicken burger was the thinnest slice of chicken breast I've seen in a while in bun that's not even buttered. It came with portion of chips which was tiny. No salad, no sides. The children's fish and chips was one small piece of fish and similarly small portion of chips, no peas, no side salads. Oh, starters and dessert were not included in children's menu. For about £3 more you can get the equivalent in adult portions. This is no reflection on the waiters and waitresses who work there, just management.

Popped in for burgers and beer. Booked ahead. Food came quickly and was really tasty--everything was perfect. Mike was our server--he was super.

Have visited a number of times and each time is amazing. The food is always splendid and the staff are always cheerful and friendly. Highly recommend anyone to visit.

Popped in for cocktails last night. Even though the restaurant was very busy and we hadn’t booked we were welcomed quickly and given a table. Friendly service and great atmosphere for drinks. Will be stopping for dinner next time!

Excellent food and service on the day of my graduation. Even though it was busy nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic and a lovely brunch was enjoyed by all.

The staff here are great which I really appreciate… Well done team. I feel warmly welcomed no matter what entrance I enter and staff are attentive to making sure you have what you need even when busy. (It’s the little things) I haven’t tried much food but it looks good and seams fair. I like popping by to make use of the outdoor area because it’s usually got a nice atmosphere in that part of town and the heated cushions are going to be appreciated in winter ❄️

What a great place! Food is just delicious - fresh, great ingredients, so flavourful. Quite a bit of a contrast to some other places in the area offering quite bland selection. Also great service and staff - helpful and friendly. We were passing by with our dog and didn't expect to be welcomed, but checked just in case. So glad we did, as we were then shown to a lovely outdoor area, that had heated seats, so even on a chilly October evening we were warm and cosy.

Arrived here today with my wife and 2 yesr old son for some lunch, at first glance it seemed really busy but staff we're able to get us a seat, we ordered our food and drinks, drinks arrived a few mins later which was great but 45 mins later a member of staff brought us some cuterly....we then then waited a further 15 mins before a member of staff walked past and we raised the concern that out food hadn't arrived and out 2 year old was getting way beyond hungry at this point, when a member of staff went to check on our food(the same waitress who took the order) came back and said they had lost our order. The staff got us a small box of chips to go for our son and said we didn't have to pay due to the inconvenience caused, I feel bad leaving such a horrible rating but this has been the worst service I have ever experienced whilst eating out and to make it worse was it was a highly recommended place to eat by a family friend who goes here occasionally. Unfortunately we didn't get our food and were late getting our son to swimming due after traveling over 45 mins to get to Perth, staff were apologetic for the mix up but this had lead me and my wife to go to else where for a quick snack whilst on way to swimming. I would like to say I would be visiting again but this has put us off from doing so. I don't like leaving bad reviews or negative feedback but under the circumstances I have no choice, the interior of the building was beautiful and well played out and looked a nice cosy place we would have enjoyed.

Wow, what an amazing service! We stopped by for a drink before our dinner reservation somewhere else. Staff made sure we have the best possible table, drinks and fingerfood. Totally recommended.

Squeezed us in when it was supposed to be full. Fantastic service. Food first class, perfectly cooked and presented. Prawns, dramas and pizza all great. Pizza base light and crispy. Toppings fresh and not overcooked.

Kisa's is a great informal place to eat in the centre of Perth. Our brunch today was lovely. It was well prepared and looked great. The breakfast was made with good quality sausages and bacon, and my pancakes were light and fluffy. I'd definitely recommend Kisa's.

Service was awful ....waitress came to our table , not once but twice with someone else's order ...Ordered a baked potato with No Butter...butter on the baked potato , sent back , ...and i would order something else ..waitress came back and said the are doing another one , REALLY....Also ordered another cold drink ,waited 15 minutes... Needless to say we didn't wait any longer ....paid our bill and left....in future we will go elsewhere where ...

Kisa's is the most accessible restaurant with the most delicious food I have ever been in. Wheelchair accessible and just across from wheelchair accessible parking, two disabled toilets, different textured floors for different areas, different tops for the salt and pepper grinders, alternative milks available upon request and food allergies accommodated. And an absolutely delicious Scottish breakfast, with orange or apple juice included. Only sticking point is they get booked up quickly so best to book a table at least an hour in advance.

Visiting family in Perth. We went to Kisa's tonight to celebrate a birthday. Excellent food, great atmosphere and fantastic service. Special mention to Beth who sprang a birthday surprise on the man of the hour.

Quite an extensive menu. Couple good vegan options though I'd lean towards the burger. Dishes seem to incorporate quite a lot of fruit. Busy at peak times. Best to book for a table.

Kisa’s restaurant has been a firm family favourite of ours but the last 2 occasions we have booked a table and dined, I have noticed a drop in standards of food quality, portion size and delay in service. There has been a significant increase in the prices on the menu which I don’t mind paying but object when food is small portions and tasteless. Our previous experience at Kisa’s has always been exemplary food and service but sadly they have dropped their standards. Don’t order the macaroni, it was the smallest, shallowest dish of macaroni I’ve ever seen in a restaurant, sadly I went home hungry.

What a lovely restaurant. Modern and inviting. Great atmosphere. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. 9 friends went for our tea before the theatre. Everyone enjoyed their food. 5 of us had the baked salmon. It was excellent. I will definitely recommend and visit again soon.

A nice little restaurant in the center of Perth. Very nice staff and also very good cuisine. There is a breakfast/lunch menu and an evening menu! Very important: also a large selection of good wines! Gladly again! 👌

Great location near the concert hall and the atmosphere is vibrant. I was with a group of girlfriends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The service was friendly and prompt as well. The only thing that let this place down for me was the lack of zero alcohol choices. They stock 0% beer but not 0% wine or Prosecco. That's pretty poor in my opinion not catering for the non drinkers with a decent range of choices given today's options.

I've only been here for drinks as they do great cocktails! Kisa's is stylish and comfortable, located in the centre of Perth. Staff are very friendly and attentative.

What a lovely experience , and very tasty meal Booked , but we actually found we had time on our hands so arrived an hour early .... no problem to them . Menu choice was very good , we all had something different and each of us throughly enjoyed the dish we choose Service was polite , friendly and efficient , without rushing us Desserts were delicious and all food beautifully presented Was buzzing and great atmosphere which is always a bonus Came as a recommendation and we were not disappointed Will certainly be our "go to "place when we visit Perth on our race meeting trips

Have been many times before with friends and family but was a wee bit anxious taking my 5 granddaughter for the first time From start to finish the staff were absolutely amazing with us but made my granddaughter so welcome and special They could not have done more to make the lunch enjoyable and memorable Food was excellent including a separate bowl of grated cheese and strawberries for Maisie Thank you very much

We went to eat mid afternoon. The ambience was good. The staff attentive. The menu extensive and the food was excellent. I would certainly go again.

Little expensive for pocket, however delicious and appetising food. Pleasant to the taste, good quantity served. Staff is polite, well skilled. Nice ambiance.

Having eaten here before, we were looking forward to a gift voucher experience, very disappointed. A lukewarm reception followed by a sloppy service. Had to ask for drinks after sitting for 10 minutes, followed by another 10 minutes wait for drinks to be served. Food order was taken, but we were not asked if we would like to order more drinks, i.e. wine to accompany our meal. Smoked salmon with salad comprised too much salad. Had to ask for our plates to be removed, overall not a great experience. Worth noting that Kim was not on the floor.

The service in Kisas was friendly and attentive as usual, especially our waiter Mike. The food was excellent yet again and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his blue cheese sauce the chef made for him to go with his steak (such amazing customer care to cater for someone this way and make something not even on the menu when asked). This is our go to restaurant in Perth and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Used to love Kisa fish and chips - wonderful. Sadly they changed the chips - now poor ++ Atmosphere - can be very noisy.

Stopped for a late lunch. Ordered the spicy sirloin sandwich and soup and sandwich combo. The spicy sirloin sandwich was bland and not impressive. The soup was good and the sandwich that came with it too.

Wednesday 29th May . Table booked for 7 pm ,five minute wait , understandable they were very busy .Very friendly and efficient staff ,waiting time for ordering and food delivery just perfect ,the meal was fabulous,I don’t dine out very often but Kisa is now first on my list ,I will definitely be back soon .one blemish the round table was a bit small for six of us .

Always lovely food in a very pleasant atmosphere.

We secretly got married and shortly after, dropped in for a celebratory drink. We received a very warm welcome, sat outside in the sun and were presented with some bubbly and a chef’s plate complete with strawberries and a message from the chef, piped in chocolate. The staff were all very kind and this was such a nice touch. Now this is how customer service is done. This made an awesome day that bit more special. Will definitely be back. Love this place. Food is always excellent and freshly cooked. Staff are very welcoming, warm and friendly. Very tastefully decorated and toilet facilities are immaculate. All round pleasant experience, no wonder people keep going back

Unusual and varied menu, I went for a burger which was excellent. It was a Tuesday night and still pretty busy. The decor is smart and I'll visit again when next in Perth, possibly to have the monkfish curry or curry pizza. They have gluten free options and the sticky toffee pudding looked great.

Myself and my partner went for breakfast. Very good food, quick service and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Nice place with very tasty cuisine. Smiling and helpful staff. We ate mussels and a burger with pulled pork. Both dishes were tasty and served very quickly! We recommend!

Went in for cocktails, Pina Colada was ice cubes and not crushed ice, it was no problem for the bar person to take it back and put it in the blender. Excellent customer service. Great location, comfy seating in lounge area, great for a drink or two. Can get a bit crowded as it's a busy place. Service is good. Definitely go back.

Kisa's is always a good experience, lovely food and drinks in a nice atmosphere. Service can be a little slow at times but we were not in a hurry so it didn't really matter. We both ordered Chicken Supreme dishes, one with ham n cheese and one with banana, peach & curry mayo. Both were delicious. Fries, halloumi and onion ring sides were good too. Decent value if not a little expensive but you're paying for the setting etc too so reasonable all round I guess. Our bill was £100 for 2 mains, 3 sides, 2 deserts and about 7 drinks including beer, rum, wine & a couple cocktails. We'll definitely be back

Absolutely love Kisa's.. service always 5 star... food 5 Star... comfort excellent... my only grumble is come after 9 in the evening the building cools down to the point I need to put my jacket on and finish desert or coffee... however its still an outstanding place to go for a lovely meal in Perth.. it I'd also decorated beautifully love it

Been to Kisas previously and really liked it, but went with a large party recently and found it really disappointing as I dont think they could really accomodate a party our size despite saying they could as we were packed in and unable to move which wasn't very pleasant. I also think the food could be a bit better and slightly bigger portions for the prices charged. That said I think Kisas pavlova is amazing and would come back again just for that! 😊

Staff were superb and very accommodating when we had to alter our booking. They were friendly and professional- nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely and coffee the best I have tasted in a long time!

Went for mother's day. Service was brilliant even though they were packed out. Food was incredible. Really tasty, fresh, hot and plenty attention to detail. Will definitely be returning.

Kisa's adds quality to Perth. It's always bustling and you know that the service is going to be OK and that the food is good. It maybe suffers from being too safe and could do with a few more vegetarian options on the menu, but on the whole it's a solid choice.

Having popped in here recently for a drink, we decided to meet friends for a late lunch, one Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was very busy, however we had booked on-line, so we were shown straight away to our table. The staff were all very friendly,welcoming and efficient throughout, explaining the menu and checking for allergies. The menu is extensive, we were dining from the day menu and in our opinion offers good value for money. The dishes we chose, Mexican Chicken Sandwich, Kisa’s House Pasta, Warm Caesar Salad and the Smoked Salmon & Peaches salad were all delicious. Finished off with their Pavlova to share, topped with banana, vanilla ice cream & warm toffee sauce, it was so tasty. Good choice of drinks available too. Can't recommend highly enough, it deserves more than 5 stars in my opinion, and looking forward to our next visit already.  

Return Visit Had lunch here with friends on Saturday, it was amazing. Lovely atmosphere in restaurant, great menu choices/options, good wine options and friendly and efficient staff throughout. Popped in here for a quick drink and ended up having something to eat Excellent choice for both food and drinks. Excellent service too

Was away for the weekend, out shopping & looking for some were for lunch & found KISA’S we just had soup & sandwiches soup was delicious, I have a dairy allergy our waiter Mick was so helpful with my allergy come paired with places at home they don’t help . Thank you all at KISA’S looking forward to seeing everyone soon 😊

Family lunch in what was a very busy restaurant. Excellent atmosphere and the food was very good. I had the hot smoked salad that was very tasty and refreshing. Friendly waiting staff.

We looked at the menu on line before deciding to book a table as we were just down for the weekend. The menu was very good lots of choice. We decided on a two course meal with desert cocktail for pudding which was lovely. Service was very good and food was exceptional. Restaurant had a lovely atmosphere very laid back but beautifully decorated.

I can't really understand what people see in this place at all. The building is nice, the decor is decent without being really noteworthy, but the food and service are poor. I've been twice now and unfortunately on both occasions it was sub-par. The first time I had pizza and the cheese was fairly burned all over - I think this could be because they're using a cheddar cheese or mixed cheese rather than mozzarella which is strange, either that or cooking for too long. My partner then won Kisa vouchers from work which was a bit disappointing but gave it a second chance. I had a haddock linguine dish for my main course. Taste wise the pasta and sauce were really nice in fairness, but the fish was overcooked. I didn't mind that so much though because it did taste pretty good otherwise. The desert was inedible though. I went for the crumble dish and it was just a total waste. It came out at a fearsome temperature and it was around 15 minutes before I could attempt to eat any of it. There was also a rank smell coming from the dish which I believe was a result of being heated in a dirty oven or microwave. Nonetheless I gave it a try, but the 'crumble' wasn't a crumble at all, just a sprinkling of some quite nasty dust-like substance on top of sweet liquid. As I said, I'm unsure why people enjoy eating here, but I suppose there aren't many places left in Perth in general.

On a shopping trip to Perth, we popped in here for a quick drink. Lovely lounge/bar area with soft comfy chairs, with a separate dining area. Both decorated beautifully. We sat in the bar/lounge area and after reading the menu, we decided to share a portion of Nachos. They were amazing. Lovely casual dining, good food, good beers & wine and fantastic service. We loved our visit and will definitely return
