The best restaurants in United Kingdom

The guy there was very friendly great vibe but the food was the nicest I’ve had in a while living in Buxton, you usually have to travel along the way to get decent food, but this being right around the corner is perfect for birthdays (which it was mine when I went) all the food we ordered was amazing down to the popadoms the food was to good to waste! Had to get it to take back and ate it all for my lunch! Amazing place altogether eating in or out. Never recommend an indian more especially Buxton as the food we have is very poor this was an absolute saver, not much more dearer than spoons to and definitely not microwaved bagged toxic waste like spoons!

We used to love coming to Karakchai with friends and our little ones, however since last year it has become disappointing due to the significant increase in prices. We don't feel like we are getting the quality of food and portion sizes for the high prices.

Always very happy with the food and service. Enormous portions and great prices. Can't find anything to complain about 😊

What a fantastic cafe.The food is excellent and fresh. The cafe is spotless and the lady that serves you always has a smile and welcoming.The man behind the counter provides a great service too. Thoroughly recommend.

Just had the Sunday roast dinner, it was the best sunday roast ive had in a restaurant & highly reccomended , the staff were so lovely & friendly too, thank you for a lovely afternoon Killean & staff xx

The restaurant was busy with a nice vibe. The service was OK - probably not enough staff but they were pleasant. The food was pretty good. Not quite sure why it gets rave reviews but certainly worth a visit and would return.

This place is absolutely amazing and a lad called blake is lovely he is so kind with customers and shows tolerance around others

Came in for a Sunday roast with our 2 year old son. This was our fourth or fifth visit. Great service from the maitre d’ as always. Food arrived very quickly, which was welcome with a child of this age who doesn’t sit still for long! Food cooked perfectly, huge yorkie, great selection of sides and an excellent cut of beef fillet. Plus great deserts in the Kahlua dom pedro & choc mint martini.

Came here with a group last night and can not rate this highly enough!! Everyone's food was absolutely delicious and at incredibly reasonable price, the service was 5/5 super friendly and having a laugh with us. Had some allergies/intolerances in the group too onion/garlic, dairy and gluten and were all very easily accommodated! Thank you!!

I have been In this nice little restaurant yesterday, with my husband and my cousin, for the first time. Me and my husband are both vegan and we were very surprised from the vegan choice available (there is a specific part of the menu for us). We had tofu with peanut sauce for starter, I had vegan green Thai curry and my husband had the stir fry mix veg for mains. I think it was the best green Thai curry I have ever had (considering my pre-vegan life too). The waitress and the waiters were very polite and kind. We really enjoyed our dinner and the fact that you can book online through their website is really helpful. We will be back! Thank you!

I ordered the potato with tuna and mayonnaise and it was delicious.

Top curry house I’ve been coming here for over 25 years! Respect the curry!
