I am a WD local, I work in the city of London and always on the lookout for a local pub with good food and drinks to visit regularly. Food is great but I found the host to be very rude and unaccommodating. I have been here a few times and I always found the main host so nice and friendly but recently she has been extremely rude and unpleasant towards me and my family which I find totally unacceptable. I will not go here again or recommend to any friends / family. Mood swings are not acceptable in customer service, keep it professional when running a business

Excellent food not your average kebab shop, brilliant quality and taste. Very nice and welcoming staff on collection and delivery - a go to place on take out night
Really disappointed after booking for valentines night. We and another couple were the only ones in the restaurant. I was going to have lemon sole but it was off even though it was still marked up on the board. Chose the brie for starter between the two of us. Although it was warm it was still fairly solid in the middle. We were told they had sirloin steak with blue cheese sauce which we both had. The steaks were cooked very well but were full of fat and sinew. The blue cheese sauce only covered about the inch of the steak as there was a tiny jug on the side filled up a third full. It would of been appreciated if as it was such a small jug if it could be filled. The same amount of gravy was served. The really poor aspect of the meal was the service. It wasn't warm or attentive. We chose a bottle of 29.00 malbec. We were given a suggestion of a 70.00 one by the waitress which we found a bit embarrassing. I know it's good for a venue to upsell but perhaps more appropriate was to offer a similar for 10.00 to 15.00 extra not 41.00 extra. After ordering, we waited 15 minutes for our wine. After chasing our waitress we were told that a "new guy had started that day and didn't know what he was doing". The wine was then just dumped on the table with the lid still on. There were no waiting staff in view for most of our meal so it was difficult to complain regarding food and service. We left without paying a tip unfortunately and won't return sadly. It really is a lovely venue but the food and service was lacking for a supposedly special evening.
Great service. Friendly staff. Other guests were very noisy. Couldn’t hear yourself speak. Value for money yes, but there were a few things that need ironing out. The bread for the sandwiches was far too thick. They should be thinner, dainty. Filling very nice and just the right amount. The tiny quiches were a disappointment. Lemon Posset far too sweet. I have done this before but with whipped double cream to a billowy cloud consistency but not as sweet. Brownies, absolutely delicious. Very fudgy and moorish. Strawberry very nice size and sweet and juicy. I have dipped my strawberries before in 70% dark chocolate. Beautiful sultana scones. Were they made on the premises? Can’t tell. They were big and soft. Would have been better smaller scones. The jam was far too sweet I felt it on my teeth. I was too full to try anything else. Oodles amount of tea very nice. Just a little tip, I think putting sandwiches and the rest of the cakes etc should be all in 3 different plates rather than bringing sandwiches first and then the cakes. Overall a nice afternoon out to a place I had never been before.
Celebrated our son’s 21st at Archive last night. Great service from the new manager from start to finish !
The new bar area upstairs is lovely and ideal for a great party !! Great service from our own bar man who was super attentive and kept the drinks flowing. Lovely cocktails 🍸 and a great selection of beers 🍺
Pizzas were brought out about 8.30pm which went down incredibly well ..
All in all a great night xx

Great food here. The portions are a very decent size. Special burger need to be considered before purchase as they are rather large. It was full when we squeezed into a corner but the food took about an hour after ordering but was worth it. Sky sports on two big screens and nice friendly staff.

Good fresh hot food. Reasonably priced. Cash only but don’t blame them in this day and age. Expect a bit of a wait as food is cooked to order. Worth it though.
Lovely little pub, great atmosphere and you can sit outside looking at the sea.
Unfortunately they've stopped doing food though or we'd have eaten there too...
Amazing service, the staff was super sweet and caring. The food was ok, but not as good as expected... The gnocchi were missing personality, the taste was nice but not as tasty as could have been. All of the other plates were fine but the portions were way too small.
I did not expect to get a huge portion but 2 slices of duck breast...
I think 3 stars reflect the actual value.
The dessert was not as nice as you expected it to be, we were expecting a nice gelato but it was mediocre...
We paid quite a lot for what we had, thus I would not recommend this place.
