Excellent ale, good cobs and excellent service.

Fab pub, great ales, lovely lovely friendly owners and staff. they make everyone so welcome including the dogs - they have taken this pub beyond its huge popularity of 90's - it really feels like the hub of the village again.

Absolutely Amazing. Customer service at its finest and pricing is very reasonable. The community within this pub is enough to make anyone feel at home. The team have definitely worked so hard over the years to make this pub perfect!!

I think google has got this wrong as I was in the Bulls Head in Breaston having sunday lunch which was very nice .

It's a nice looking pub with a bit of character to it. The bar staff were friendly enough and the orices are ok. It was difficult to get to the bar though due to people leaning on/ hanging around it with their drinks.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere. Don't do full food (but cobs and pork pies available) - great selection of drinks, well worth a visit!

Very nice and cozy pub with mesmerised Xmas decorations 🎄 non alcoholic drinks available and I enjoyed Heineken 0%. Pool table and snacks are on offer as well. The only downside it’s a bit chilly 🥶 inside.

Having been staying in the area, the Chequers Inn at Breaston provided a great welcome, Really friendly place to hang out and everyone I've met in here, bar staff and regulars are all equally happy to have a chat. There's three areas, one with a very cosy feel, carpeted and traditional, a hard floor area with a large TV and comfy seating, and a sports area with pool table and darts. Very multi-generational and inclusive, everyone is looked after and canine friendly too! Dog treats available at the bar - woof! Superb bar management too, no one ignored, always acknowledged. Great choice of drinks including non-alcoholic and newspapers also available. Look out for the big teddy bear with the unfortunately grumpy face (hey, it's what's on the inside that counts), who is often dressed up to promote happenings. There's a Pub quiz Tuesdays, and a disco night once a month on a Saturday night. There's also an outdoor area which I'm sure will be hugely popular come the sunshine.. Such a great find this place, very close to the village centre.

Been a few times, Sunday dinner absolutely first class, guarantee you won't better it and you will do well if you can equal it, you get a massive size meal, well worth a visit.

Very friendly and welcoming place with great drinks choices including some well kept real ales. My companion on this visit is local and said they serve great food too.

Haven't been to the Chequers for years but so glad our all-day dog walk took us there yesterday. Fabulous experience, wonderful outdoor area, great bar with a huge choice of beer and spirits and very helpful, friendly staff. Definitely heading back soon. We really had a lovely afternoon in the sunshine with the dogs. Great pub.

Really nice place, staff always welcoming nothing to much trouble. Visit every time I'm in the area. Only down fall is I live 36 miles away if I lived local it would be my regular pub best one in the area. Dog, children and husband friendly.
