Knoxbridge Cafe in Tunbridge Wells

Called in after we finished our walk, had a lovely milky coffee, nice friendly staff.

Really good breakfasts. Hot plates. Good service.

Wonderful food but a little bit pricey with only one small slice of black pudding and it was the end bit

Always delicious food every time and cooked fresh. Good portions and price. Very friendly staff and always clean including the toilets. If there is a wait it is well worth it. Won't go anywhere else for breakfast.

No signs displayed or information given beforehand about transactions being cash only. We were informed about this after making the order. Had to go to a cashpoint. Charged 4.20 for 2 terrible cups of instant coffee. Enough to put us off food, so cancelled the order. Staff have zero customer service skills. Avoid.

Delicious English breakfast. Very busy as food is so good. Have given service only 4 stars as we waited 45 minutes. It's worth the wait but go somewhere else if you're in a rush.

I come to the cafe every time I go fishing at monk lakes . Great food, great prices and a great atmosphere. No ee mobile network which means breakfast in peace

Cash Only! Totally insane in this day and age, and indication its cash only until you've queued and reached the till. Shame as we were looking forward to trying you're breakfast. We'll be back when you join the 21st century.

You may have to wait a bit longer for your food so don't think your quickly pop in for something to eat as its quite await BUT Its well worth the wait

Great food and pretty reasonable price. Loved the bubble and squeak. Would happily revisit, but do make sure you take cash, as cards not accepted. I owe the cafe 80p, which I will pop in, next time I'm passing. :-)

Stopped off for breakfast with a few mates on our motorbikes, wonderful breakfast although service was sloooooow, worth the wait. This was very busy and seems popular we will return. Clean comfortable welcoming.

Was just a quick stop for a cuppa on the way back from looking for a new car but after seeing the nice food being served up had a Very nice sausage sandwich with real crusty bread great people serving very clean establishment

Service, food very good and prices very good. Take note they only take cash, and wait at busy times quite long. Breakfast was worth the wait tho.

Decent sized portions in a clean cafe. Parking at rear on a gravel surface. Cash only but a cash point is about 2 minutes drive up the road. Perfect for a stop and rest. Good choice of meals and breakfasts.

Arrived at 11:15 (restaurant closes at 12pm). Looked busy inside, and my guess is they were at capacity so front door was locked, understandable if you want to be closed by 12. Someone came to the door, ushered another customer in through the back door (a friend of the owner) again, understandable. What wasn't, was nobody had the decency to acknowledge us, say a single word. Or offer an explanation, a simple "sorry we are full up/closed" etc etc would have been fine. To ignore us and lock the door in our face is flat rude

Nice place to stop Very nice meal

My mum who lives 5 minutes away from the cafe and kept saying to me what a great place to eat it is so instead of stopping on the motorway for breakfast my wife and I drove over 300 miles and 5 hours to get there. We were both starving by now so I was hoping my mum was right. We both ordered the full English which was served on a huge oval plate. It looked good and tasted great too and the best bit...just £4:60!! Amazing value for the amount you get. You can't go wrong by giving this place a visit.

Popped in for lunch today. The cafe was full which I took as a good sign! Food freshly cooked and tasty. They only accept cash, so be prepared! Cafe was clean and tidy and the lady serving was very friendly.

I've tried all of the places in the weald area. I love a nice breakfast. This place is lovely I've been here countless times. Food is always lovely. In my opinion the best in the area. The lady that always serves is lovely, reasonably priced, always spotless clean tables. Only takes cash though. Parking at the rear.

First class freshly cooked breakfast again, highly recommended.

Special breakfast includes fried bread, bacon, egg, tomato, baked beans, sausage and all nicely cooked. Yum.

I'm not sure the cafe knew what hit them on sat morning, we had a 40th bday nearby and all pitched up at the cafe. The breakfasts were outstanding and well needed, the staff were friendly and laughed and joked with us, they saved us all, well done team 👏

Wow! Unbelievable prices! Friendly service! Portion size was amazing...... The only thing I can fault them on (and honestly I didn't mind was the lack of a card machine and speed of service) I will be back for sure!

Great little cafe, very clean, obviously popular (only one empty table when we went in). Food good quality and cooked to order, portions large, big mugs of tea or coffee, good menu selection. Highly recommended

Lovelie breakfast good coffee polite staff and immaculately clean

Used to come here couple of times a week years ago, lovely. I was working in the area so drove out of my way for a decent breakfast @ 13:32 i was told we are shut!! Despite on the door says shuts at 2 oh no kitchen is at 1:30, 2 whole minutes. If they cant be bothered neither will i again nor will i be recommending

Exactly what you want from a cafe

They need to change there times of opening on there website , as me n my family has turned up a couple of times an been turned away as they are closed at 11.35 am kitchen shuts at 11.30 when opening times are 7am -2pm

Cheap & cheerful Very nice café. Smart, clean and very good food at a ridiculously cheap price. Newspapers also available to be read. Only open from 7am to 2pm, so dont miss it !! Large car park at the rear and, I believe, accommodation may be available - but dont quote me on that, check first !!

This is genuinely the best place to go in Kent for a proper breakfast. Everywhere is spotless, the food is always cooked to perfection and the staff are lovely. The Knoxbridge Cafe were kind enough to organise bacon sandwiches for the morning of my wedding the other week which went down an absolute treat with everyone. Thank you so much

Good, big food portions. Very clean and basic. An independent version of a no frills transport cafe. Friendly staff. Can be a noisy place because the decor amplifies the background chatter and very close traffic of the busy road so good for a stop off main plate full (no puddings) but not a leisurely meal.

Fantastic Café, Spotlessly Clean, Great Food, Really Friendly. We stopped off here for breakfast on the way (cross country) to Leeds Castle on our Wedding Anniversary. We were warmly welcomed and seated, and were instantly impressed by the cleanliness of the café. The prices of the menu and drinks were very good with excellent tea and coffee. The food was freshly cooked and really tasty with generous portions. What really impressed us most was the outstanding friendliness of the owner and his staff, when they found out it was our anniversary they went out of their way to make our visit as nice as possible and could not have done any more to make us feel welcome and appreciated. It was a truly excellent start to our day and we could not have been more impressed. Thank you so much to all at Knoxbridge Café, we cannot recommend you highly enough.
