There was 12 of us today for our friends birthday , most of us had different food from the menu and all wonderfully cook and delicious. Thank you

Good food, friendly staff, nice setting. Accommodated my parents' bespoke choices without fuss. Will definitely go again. 4 stars for atmosphere as a lot of pink decoration and flowers which is not my thing but don't let that make you miss out on this place.

Came for breakfast, Food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. We were awkward and asked for things not on the menu which was no issue. Service was friendly and polite. Couldn’t ask for more.

First time at Shelly's and just had an excellent Sunday lunch. Would definitely recommend

I decided to try Shelly’s Bistro in Swaffham after researching local cafés for breakfast. It looked promising, especially with a 5-star food hygiene rating displayed outside. When I arrived, the young girl behind the counter was pleasant and welcoming. Apart from her, the only people there were the owner (who I later realised was the one cooking my breakfast) and a gentleman sitting with her at a table. I ordered a full English breakfast and a coffee. I was quite shocked at how expensive it was, considering it was a fairly basic meal. I paid and sat down, and around 20 minutes later, my breakfast arrived, along with one slice of toast. The breakfast itself was very small for the price — definitely not good value. What really bothered me, though, was that the woman who had cooked my breakfast (presumably the owner) sat down and began vaping at the table while I was eating. I found it really off-putting and frankly unacceptable, especially in a place where food is being served and eaten. During my entire visit, not a single other customer came in, which added to the odd atmosphere. Between the high price, small portion, and the owner vaping indoors, I won’t be returning.

On a long journey from Leeds.we diverted off the A47, Great breakfast. Friendly service! What's not to like at this little Gem! Great pot of real tea too!

After a good old charity shop raid we came across this place. Lush jacket potatoes and pleasant service although may be worth mentioning the homemade coleslaw has beetroot in…. Will deffo return…. great atmosphere… all the best 🫶🏻

We stopped off in swaffham, plenty of place to eat… We decided to eat in Shelley’s, what a brilliant choice the service was good, the food was freshly cooked & arrived on the table piping hot. It was clean a tidy & to top it all very reasonably priced. It was fairly busy when we visited, the staff coped in delivering a good service, thank you ladies!

We decided to try Shelly's for the first time but she has decided to not open the business for a day to put up Christmas decorations, not the best reason to shut a business for a day lol 😆Just so you know I did think before I wrote this & we was standing outside your bistro when someone said to you are you open & you replied with no because we are putting up the Christmas decorations today. So why would I think it was for any other reason than what you actually said

Heard good things about this place. Was not disappointed. Upon walking in I was greeted by Bianca. A very friendly & lovely young women who made me feel right at home. Went for the Shelly's Breakfast (cooked by none other than Shelly herself) and can honestly say that it was probably the best brekkie I've ever had. It even beat a lovely breakfast that I had on the morning of my 50th birthday down in Maidenhead, Berkshire. That was a top one, but this one just beat it. So thank you ladies. I will deffo be back👍

Stopped off for some lunch before making our way home to Essex. Lovely little cafe and lovely food, just what we were looking for.

Waited for 5 minutes standing there at the counter, no staff were present or appeared so left.

Went to steak night 22/06/2024 The food was probably the best I have had from a restaurant thank you we will be back

Fantastic place to eat, relax and enjoy with friends and family. Happy service that's not over bearing in any way, good choice and quality top notch and every meal turned up hot and at the same time. Easy to recommend and already planning on coming back

What a little gem 💎 of a place, recommended to us by a few locals in the Greyhound Pub (fab pub) so we went for Breakfast this morning, service was great, dog friendly big plus and the quality of the sausages, bacon and eggs was fantastic and at a decent price. We are on Holiday for the week and I'm sure we be back 👍🏻😋😁

Friendly service and good food. We did arrive late for lunch, so any midday dinners had left, however the place is attractive and clean with a decent range of choice on the menu and specials board.

I have had a special and a Cappuccino here for years! Its easily the best full English breakfast in swaffham!!!

Had the best breakfast, thanks so much, took my littke dog in no probs Poached eggs were just right, bacon was yummy and the bread was amazing gutted they sold out of homemade scones as looked delicious but we were too late to order when we left. Took some desserts instead. Thanks so much 🙏

Lovely food and brilliant service .

Excellent takeaway food, and great customer service as the young lady who served us even came out to the car to provide additional items without charge. Very pleased

Had lunch here. Very welcoming. My dog was even given a blanket to lie on. I had a burger and chips. Food was good and the surroundings were pleasant. No other customers which was a shame.

We were treated to an afternoon tea. Delicious food and cakes, lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Shelly’s Bistro is a great place for anything from a snack to major meal. Staff are very helpful and service is great. A wide selection of delicious foods and cakes. Nice prices and super dog friendly!

Stumbled across this bistro when out with the dogs. Not been to Swaffham before - was a quick pit stop on our way home. Dog friendly, great decor, cute outdoor terrace in the shade. Lovely menu and great selection of drinks. Really warm welcome and really friendly. Would definitely go again if in Swaffham.

Visited Swaffham for the first time and visited Shelly's. Food was really quick and was delicious, very friendly staff and the decor is very niche. Really unique. Highly recommended.

Lovely little place for a stop off

Superb little place, very good prices, lovely and helpful Staff. They had had a rush, and run out of a few things but went out and bought what was needed. I shall visit again.

We had late lunch at this lovely bistro today, the food was lovely, the waitress was welcoming, friendly and helpful. It's such a different quirky little place, can't recommend it highly enough.

A very nice place for an evening meal with the family, dogs are welcomed inside. The food was delicious and didn't take too long to arrive. Staff were extremely nice and you felt very welcome.the decor was very sparkly and very picturesque. The rooms were small and homely and all the serving sizes were accurate. Would really recommend to visit!

Fantastic place. Unusually big and well-crafted wide menu (won 6+ awards and keep on counting). Bistro prices with restaurant-grade food. They do: - eat in/takeaway/delivery - Live music events (generally Friday, Saturday, Sundays) e.g. Blues, Retro, Peaky Blinders etc - Theme nights: e.g. Curry night, Thai night, Mexican night, Steak night etc - Eating areas: inside (casual), upstairs (quieter & posher) and outdoors/courtyard (for the ultimate summer experience). You can also sit around the front of the building for those enjoying the general hustle and bustle of Swaffham 😉 - Take reservations for various events e.g. birthdays, weddings, anniversaries etc

Went for a walk around Swaffham and came across Shelly's Bistro, dog friendly and lovely decor, well priced and awesome cakes, we had chilli and rice, and tuna red onion well presented and nice to see proper tea leafs used. With a visit.

Just has a fantastic breakfast, lovely and fresh and best of all it was Hot . Service was great and we was well looked after with all social distancing etc in place . We will be back

During these covid times, Shelly stepped up And adapted to the need of the town and did a fantastic fish selection box for us and it was awesome!! Even before the lockdown the breakfast and food is 10/10 Highly recommend

Shelly’s is amazing for food and service. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They even offer a delivery service which is great. I can highly recommend the afternoon teas and burgers.

I always liked this place when I lived in Swaffham. Lovely coffee and a friendly atmosphere. Nice cakes too, even if they are bought in. They do Bistro nights and all sorts.
