First time eating in today, and I've got to say the way Sal and the guys treat their customers is exceptional, we were greeted and made to feel welcome, they managed to squeeze us in at peak times, unbooked which was lucky (I reccomend you book). The food was exceptional and considering how busy they were, lamb chops and salmon came out exactly when we needed it, they kept us up to date and the drinks flowing. I would reccomend this place to anyone well be back, it's clear they actually love what they do, we had an excellent evening.

Really friendly stuff who were very welcoming and accomodating of any requests. They couldn't do enough to make us happy. We were a party of 5 so had a good selection of the meals and drinks on offer, both starter and main. I tried a little of each meal and food every one was well presented and very tasty. When we were done, we had lots of leftover food due to the portion size so they brought trays to send it home with us with needing to be asked. Great experience overall, would definitely come back.

Waiter was part way through taking our order and then went to seat other people who had just come in - very rude. Then brought out food and didn't seem to know what mine was. My wife had prawn dish but one of the prawns was mush and put her off her dish completely. We had a bad experience here previously but thought we'd give them the benefit of the doubt. We will certainly not be returning.

Haven’t eaten inside, as we always have our takeaways delivered. Website is easy to use, when we’ve needed assistance they have always been very helpful, and delivery driver is always on time and polite. The most important thing is that the food is outstanding!! Really tasty and of a high quality and we’ve tried most of the menu and always impressed with what we get. Would highly recommend Ameanah’s to everyone.

The welcome is very warm and helpful. The service is probably the best I've experienced. The food is amazing and with layers of flavours. So helpful when it comes to gluten free.

We had a great family meal at the 1/2 price curry night on Wednesday (remember to bring cash). This is the best Indian food in the area and also the best customer service I have experienced in ages. The staff really go out of their way to make a fuss of the kids and enjoy a bit of banter/chat with you. One of the party was vegan and there was lots of options to choose from. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I'll continue to come back here :)

We were in a short trip around brecon beacons and near by places. We came to get into this restaurant unexpectedly. But to be honest it was not a wrong choice, it was so delicious. Chicken chaat and onion bhaji are so nice to have it. One more thing to I shout-out is about the way they are handling the customers, they are very friendly.... Sal thanks man.

Unfortunately, I've had to update previously positive review to a negative one. I had my home delivery 20th March 2024, and the overall quality was much less than expected. I wasn't going to change my review until I bit in to my kema nan bread, and found some plastic film (see photograph). Shortly after I made the discovery, I had vomited the food I had eaten, probably because of the concern over what other foreign object could be inside my food. The sound of me being unwell caused my partner to then sick up her food, because she was concerned about what could be in her food. And with only one toilet, it was a horrific scene. It's completely unacceptable, and demonstrates a complete lack of care during the preparation of food. If these kind of mistakes can be made, then god only knows what else could happen, something perhaps not as detectable as plastic packaging? Unfortunately, I cannot bring myself to buy there again, and I can no longer recommend this to my friends, family and customers, due to the possibility of further contamination, or the possibility of intentional contamination having now left a bad review in my name. I tried to call the restaurant, but the first few attempts didn't even ring, it just answered immediately but nothing is said... Blank line... I tried later on, and they have an automated system what says "to order online press 1, or hold to speak to the restaurant"... So I stayed on the line, no ringing, just waited for about 5 seconds.... and then it said "this person's mailbox is full, and you cannot leave a message". So it's really really bad sorry... It's really sad, since the staff I had interacted with seemed really nice, friendly and helpful. I paid £65 for this meal for my partner and I

Really friendly staff, food was lovely, we went for the buffet. Only criticism I would have was that everything was chicken. I understand why it's done but it would have been nice to have other options than chicken in different sauces. The veggie in the group was happy with what they had. Staff were absolutely brilliant, friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault them at all.

Had a delivery the other day arrived on time absolutely steaming hot. We had ordered Chicken Tikka Biryani, Pilau Rice, Chicken Bhuna and 2 Keema Naans. The food was 100% delicious. Best Keema Naans I've tasted. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

This is the only time I've been unimpressed as we've dined in and had several takeaways previously from here tried three times to order online delivery for 6-30 eventually accepting the info I put in didn't receive confirmation email as stated delivery was 50 minutes late and was cold the two main vegetable dishes which should both have been chicken which I admit was my error was a make up of two pieces of potatoe a ton of onions and peas sweetcorn and chopped carrot which I can only assume came out of a freezer bag Rant over but I'll finish off by saying Take credit when it's due but also accept criticism .

Food was top notch, reasonably priced & the service was brilliant. Highly recommended & I'll definitely be going again.

We have just had a really lovely evening here. The food was exceptional and the service excellent. Abi helped us with his recommendations and was obviously passionate about Indian food and spices. Watch out for his ‘game’ at the end of the meal, we’ll beat you next time Abi! We were seated upstairs as we booked quite late and downstairs was full. This worked well for us as we were a party of 7 and appreciated the space. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The staff, service, food and general atmosphere made this a really special night.

Friday night meal booked on Thursday. Arrived and no note of booking. Got sat upstairs which is not set out great. Waiter was absolutely smashed, didn't remember we had already ordered. Didn't clear tables and served wrong drink to my wife. Getting other drinks, had to go downstairs to order as could not get waiter's attention because he was wrecked. Such a shame. Great food but very poor service. Have been here several times this year but won't be going back after this last experience.

We stayed in the Brecon Beacons over the weekend and came out for food here on the Friday night. Service is outstanding very attentive and lovely friendly people. The food was insane! Best Indian we ever had. Thankyou for a wonderful dining experience, would drive 1hour 40mins from where we live just to eat here.

The boys running the show are a great laugh! Good atmosphere, food was nice and tasty, but took a while to get to us and was a little on the cool side.

Absolutely gorgeous. Don't take my word for it, try it yourself. Crispy Lamb starter Hotly followed by a Chicken Jalfrezi and Pilau Rice. Sadly no Chilli Ice Cream for Dessert

Visiting family in Llandeilo at the weekend so the five of us went to Ameanah's Saturday night for a meal. Food was lovely and good size portions at good prices. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. All in all a great experience. I just wish we lived closer but will definitely go again when visiting our family.

Went for a meal there, had the best indian meal in ages, The food was brilliant, the staff were friendly and amazing. They also gave me a free sambuca shot as it was my birthday. Had a lovely time, best Indian in town, would be visiting again.

We went for Sunday buffet . Staff were amazing . Food was delicious , hot and constantly topped up. Reasonably priced . The restaurant was spotlessly clean and although it was busy it was not overcrowded. Will definitely visit again .

Ok, so the food is pretty good, you need to go here! but the main problem is that it’s all far too fast. I told the server that we want about 10 minutes in between courses as we have been here before and find they rush the food out,, but this was ignored. They moved our popadoms out the way for our starters, very irritating. After the starters, they cleared away my partners plate whilst I was still eating. This is a big no no guys!! - slow down the pace, we are out to enjoy the evening and don’t want to rush!

I have had a few meals from here (deleverd) but the last 3 have been awfull very salty and bland and oily,nan bread not cooked in clay oven well that is wot I think so to have a decent Indian food I have to travel to Gorseinon

Very unusual vindaloo...dark red, like a tikka, no potato and tasted like it had an oxo cube among the ingredients, really strange taste, nothing like any vindaloo I have tasted before. Not unpleasant, just really odd. If you are a big fan of vindaloos, I would avoid this, you may be pretty disappointed. The rest of the meal was pretty normal, not outstanding, just ok. I have spoken to 4 people over the last couple of months who all said this place has gone downhill a little. I hope this isnt the case, the last time we ate in, it was really nice.

We've been having takeaways from here for over a year and the quality of the food was very good. However, the last 4 takeaways that we have picked up have been very disappointing and incomplete; no naan ( and this is part of the dish - mixed grill), no red chutney, no pot of onions, not the right number of mint yoghurt pots that had been paid for, very greasy and soft ( on the outside) onion bhaji, being told to pick it up at a certain time yet having to wait another half an hour in the restaurant (a total of over an hour)! There are many other issues, which is such a shame as this restaurant used to serve food of excellent quality.

Ordered and paid for delivery, however the food was not delivered. Phoned and spoke to someone but no offer of refund or explanation.

Had a brilliant evening at ameanhas 9th December our works get together. We were upstairs fabulous, nothing was too much trouble for the 2 lads behind the bar and seing to our meals there was 17 of us food was outstanding the service was excellent highly recommended we have had a fabulous works get together. Visited Ameanah’s Kitchen today and absolutely loved it! The food tasted so fresh and was so delicious. It was also great value for money! The staff were so so lovely. Every single member of staff we were served by was so smiley and caring. Can not fault anything about this place. Would rate 6 stars if I could! Thank you for having us!

Brilliant food; the best place for a curry in Ammanford.

Couldn’t recommend enough! Attentive, kind staff, lovely restaurant and atmosphere, delicious food and great value for money!

Food always good but takeaway service can be shambolic. 1. Ordered via the website and selected the pick up time - upon collection, the staff had not pushed the order through to the kitchen so had to wait for it to be made. This has happened twice and the second time they sent put the wrong naan bread as well. We couldn't be arsed to complain that time. 2. Ordered via the phone and went to pick up. All seemed smooth but then once we got home, the naan breads were missing so I had to call up, drive 10mins back to the shop and they quickly rectified it. They need some quality control on takeaway orders to check what goes out is what was ordered. They need to sort out the communication between the order-takers/chefs ensuring that the orders are pushed through to the kitchen at the right time. Not going to use again despite the good food, too many mistakes.

The place is well decorated. Food is a bit pricey for the area, and in all honesty the food was dry, as in the chicken in the curry sauce was dry, also one of the orders was wrong which happens, but it wasn't busy.

Had average expectations which were exceeded by this very clean and friendly restaurant. Broad menu with many vegetarian options. We tried some of the chef specials which were very tasty. Awesome peshwari naan. Would go again
