Senzala in Lambeth

Omg. Just stopped in to Sarava in Brixton 'market' on the way home, hoping to try somewhere new. I think it used to be called something else, the crepes place. Oh YUM! My daughter had a savory pancake with cheese and chorizo and I had a delicious Caesar salad, which I practically inhaled... def give them a look-in. Twinned with my fave cocktail. Delightful!!!👍🏾 The staff were lovely, nice buzzing atmosphere and delicious food. They delighted my daughter with a bespoke vanilla ice-cream with complimentary strawberry sauce to finish things off. Win-Win.

I have seen “ crêperie “ , I am French .So I started to speak French and I realised , they were not French , I thought : ok it is nice here but let’ s see how the crêpes look like . I have a “Godfather crêpe”, tiny surprise : It was a explosion of flavour in your mouth the dough amazing ! Everything was on point ! I will warmly recommend this creperie to the Frenchies and Bretons ! It is a french crêpe with a twist ! Awesome ! Delicioso ! What about to put this address in the “ guide du Routard”.

New to Brixton we’ve been in love with the vibe in the area. When we visited this restaurant on Friday, we have been more than surprised to find a very tense atmosphere which basically ruined our dinner. We have witnessed a behaviour from the waiter more than disturbing. What a shame for the other people working with him… After screaming insults in the restaurant (which we will obviously leave out of this review), the waitress tried to reason with him several times but we just decided to ask for the bill and leave, as did other people. The restaurant seemed very authentic and crepes were good. Many options for everyone, cocktails and hot drinks available. A shame really…

I've been going there for 3 years and I love it. After a few ups and downs, it seems to be back to the great service and food that got me to come back initially. I'd advise getting the crepe for the savoury, even though they try to upsell the gallette. The caipirinhas are also amazing!

We went for brunch here ordering the salmon galette and the hot apple /cinammon crepe. Both were absolutely incredible and would recommend both of these dishes highly. Great attention from the server. Loved the outdoor seating and the area was nice and quiet on a midweek morning. We sat outside. We will be back for more! The only thing that slightly spoilt the atmosphere was that the market was being cleaned extremely thoroughly while we waited for our food - a man with a mop was essentially mopping under our table, under our feet, and almost mopped away our bags which we had put on the floor!

Had a lovely meal here today. Service was brilliant., attentive and engaging. Perfectly presented and tasted amazing. The strawberry crepe was equally delicious!

Happy hour cocktails were a dream. Margaritas and good barman, Andrea made the evening. Would recommend :)

Excellent crepes! We stumbled upon this place while waiting for our train. The staff were so incredibly friendly, and the food DELICIOUS!! When I return to London I will definitely be making a trip back to Brixton for these crepes 😍 I had a caramelised onion, goats cheese and rocket crepe. Yum!!

Great little place inside Brixton Market, with both savoury and sweet crepe-based dishes. Our host, Alessandro, did an awesome job of making us feel welcome — definitely coming back in future!

I can highly recommend this restaurant and so can my 14 year old boy, who ate his plate of crepe complete and instantly wanted another one it was so tasty. I had a Jarito. Simply wonderful. Even though they were on the point of closing up for the day, they were prepared to go that extra mile in order to welcome us at their restaurant - especially the man who runs the place, Alessandro. What a find in the heart of lively Brixton Village out of the wind and the rain, surrounded by boutiques and craft-shops.

Came here for brunch with a friend and had the loveliest time! Brill double macchiato and I can recommend the Apple D’amour Crepe! Yum!
