Had a lovely meal last night, good food and service. Alfie looked after us really well. We often go to this restaurant and always have nice food, love the pizzas
Everything was AMAZING . Staff were very attentive and quick with service. Food was delicious. The added enjoyment was watching the sheep and Baby lambs ... incredibly Cute 🐑
It is a very nice spot in the countryside, overlooking the river Severn. We were there for a family birthday. The service was very friendly and timely, despite it being a very busy bank holiday.
There was a good range of beers. I had the Three Tuns pale ale, which was good, although I much prefer their best bitter.
We ordered the Sea Bass, which was very tasty. But the meal was too haute cuisine, and was not nearly filling enough. The fish was good, but it was supported only by a small salad and 4 tiny boiled potatoes. It needed some proper potatoes and vegetables to support it.
I have to say that when I got back home, I was still hungry and needed to have some pork pie and pickles to fill me up.
Went in at 11 30 on a Monday, was seated immediately and given a menu. It was very slow, no more than 1 or 2 customers in the whole place. 10 minutes later I left after being totally ignored. If a restaurant has no interest in serving customers - why even open the doors?
This place is a true gem!! Friendly staff and the food in the restaurant is simply devine.. The Hake dish is highly recommended. We stayed for 2 nights to visit Avebury and the room was nice with a little outdoor seat as well. Needless to say that I recommend it!
We had a great dinner and if we lived locally we would definitely be regulars. Interesting menu and so much better than the usual chains. Warm welcome and specials of the day were explained. Service was friendly and professional. We both had great authentic French food - my wife's duck breast was particularly good.
Next time we are in Windsor we will definitely be back...
