Wonderful Inn with lovely staff and truly great food. Complements to the Chef as everything was 100% 👌 Well worth a visit and catered fully for gluten-free. Parking available opposite and set in a lovely village. Worth a visit for definite.

Brilliant atmosphere, friendly professional bar staff and amazing food. The prices of alcohol are very good. The food is slightly pricy but is justified by the quality and service provided. The pool table does need replacing as the balls sometimes dosent release, the table needs leveling / refelted and sometimes the white ball dosent come out when putted but this is minor as the staff are always happy to help and it is still playable. Toilets are clean and In good condition. This is a cracking pub especially for the people that live in laycock / the local area and definitely worth travelling for if further away you will not disappointed!! See you guys on Friday night I look forward to it!

We just randomly found this place after a long hike, having no idea what to expect. It turned out to be amazing. We had beef burgers with fries and they were excellent! The service was great, too. If you want to eat well for reasonable prices, that’s where you should go!

Nice staff, cozy atmosphere and one of the better pints of Guinness I had during my vacation. Would visit again!

Had an absolutely excellent meal here tonight. Best steak I've had in years. Really great menu and a good range of wines. Very reasonably priced. Some really lovely dishes on the menu; classics and some other seasonal ones, which is great to see. Lovely roaring fire and outdoor setting too. Saf couldn't do enough for us, from recommending snacks(yum!), meals and drinks. Thanks so much again. Highly recommend this excellent, extremely friendly country Inn. We're heading back at the weekend.

Nipped in by random chance after a ramble with friends. Staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was so cozy, food was excellent and big portions, too! Prices were lower than I'd expected. Fantastic place and hoping to come again soon.

Booked today after looking for somewhere that served decent food, have been around most places near me and to be honest they all pretty much samey. Spoke to a lady at the turkey inn and asked if a table was free for me and me missus which she set up for us and to be honest I was not disappointed. From entering the massive car park to getting into this clean welcoming pub was a good experience , when we ordered the food was great. The selection of beers from a great cellar to the log fire it was a lovely experience I had steak suet pudding with chunky chips and to be fair it was f**king awesome and filling My partner had the fish pie, although just mainly salmon I thought it could have done with some other fish in there but she said it was awesome All in all I'm keeping this pub on my regular list to visit Cannot wait to go back again Highly recommend you book before as it's a secret that WILL get out as a great meal out

We have been here a couple of times. We quite like the small room with the fireplaces. It's a well presented pub , with a cosy atmosphere and a great outdoors space next to the river for when the weather gets warmer. We have not tried any proper food, only a couple of nibbles, hence only 4 stars. The service is also good .

Cosy pub, fabulous Sunday dinner

We are regulars and we always love the food, but tonight’s dinner was truly outstanding. I had the oxtail risotto from the special menu, for starter, and my goodness, it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! I told Saff, that dish needs to be on the a la carte menu, permanently! I had the duck (also from the specials) for main course and again, absolute perfection. My husband had the carbonara and it was delicious too! Our experiences at the Turkey Inn are always fantastic but tonight’s dinner was beyond that, it was truly, truly delightful. Well done to all team!

Visited twice whilst on a weekend away nearby. Great welcome, lovely food, drink and atmosphere. Can’t wait until we’re in the area again as this place is a real find.

If you're ever in the keighley area & looking for a cosy pub getaway, with great service & an amazing atmosphere.. I would highly recommend this place! Just a great atmosphere! Friendly staff & locals too!!Sufficient car parking spaces across the road from the venue.. just wish I'd of taken photos.. but go see for yourself!!

We took my husband's mother there for a pre-Christmas lunch. Was absolutely lovely. We got the 2 course meal and honestly, one course would have been enough! The portions were very generous and the food was delicious. Halloumi fries to start and the turkey roast for the main. My mother in law made a joke about not having to eat again until breakfast! The server was attentive and friendly, and our food came out pretty swiftly. The only real negative was that the mulled cider was a bit cold, but this is a very minor complaint. Would still go again.

Go here regularly,dog friendly ,it's just a lovely place to go...Not ostentatious , faddy or a hip place to be,it's quintessentially how a pub should be. Will be there again soon

We came as a family including children and a dog. All staff were so welcoming and lovely towards my 3 year old and even had dog bowls for water and a dog menu if we needed any food for the dog. Great food and great price, we will be back.

Best food spot in keighley hands down little gem of a place . Came yesterday for steak and chips food was unreal . Chunky chips were the best chips iv ever had hats off to the chef

Food very small portions and not enough choice on the plate. The cost does not reflect the Portion very very very poor and expensive. I've had better sunday pub meals for less ££. I do not recommend

It was a special occasion with my mum (ex restaurantier) being with us. So we unanimously chose and met up at the Turkey Inn. Quite frankly I wish we hadn't, we would have been better satiated at the local corner chippy. Bare minimum requirement when you order hot food. You expect it to be hot! From the starter, I had Gambas Pil Pil, to the dessert Sticky Toffee pudding (old favourite) with custard!. All clap cold! How can you not serve custard HOT!!! It even forms a skin to keep it hot!?! Portions were very much on the small side, apart from the crumble. I've seen bigger McDonald's kiddie meal when my Hake arrived. Overall the the menu was limited and the service was average. To try and end on a plus the Timothy Taylor Landlord was on pomp and the Goose eye bitter wasn't too bad either. Quite honestly this Pub should just be a watering hole to wet ones whistle.

Absolutely fantastic first experience at The Turkey Inn last night. The staff were amazing, brought a dog bowl for my dog immediately and a treat. Staff so friendly and helpful. The food was sensational. I did not expect it to be so good. I had beetroot and goats cheese salad and then the herb crusted cod with saffron potato and samphire and WOW!!! It was better than some michelin recommended restaurants I’ve been to. So good in fact, we booked there and then to go back the following day for dinner and we were only staying local for 2 nights! I’m recommending to all my northern mates. Thanks to the wonderful staff/chef etc xx

This is a fantastic pub with its own beer and an excellent range of cask conditioned real ales. It is a proper traditional English pub with excellent home cooked pub food. It's a bit out of the way, but it's definitely worth the effort. This pub has been deservedly listed in the Camra good beer guide for many years.

Had a quality Sunday lunch and the prawn and chorizo bruchette starter was brilliant to get to appetite going. Great service and kids happy with games and the menu. Chinook bitter and Bulgarian merlot very good too.

The Sunday lunch was amazing. Cooked to perfection and super tasty. The staff are incredibly friendly and it’s also dog friendly.

Amazing service, wonderful food & exceptional beer. Roast beef and all the trimmings was our choice of the mains & really could not fault it or the cauliflower cheese addition.

The food we found was ok, because there were two courses missing from the main menu and no specials. Plus the ice cream each was £6 each a little expensive we thought

We have eaten many times at The Turkey and it has always been fantastic, however, tonight they have surpassed themselves, the food was absolutely amazing. We chose from the specials menu; pigeon, scallops, lamb rump and flank steak, wow you have got to try these dishes, you will not be disappointed 😋 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We booked a reservation here as we were staying nearby and we're not expecting the high quality service and food we received. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the wait staff were so sweet and accommodating to us. The food was phenomenal and the portions were huge, and this has become somewhere we would recommend or come back to again when we're in the area. Big up the waitress with the glasses

Outstanding service from the moment we walked through the door. A family of 8 get together for Sunday lunch with 4 generations. Genuinely warm, attentive staff who cared about you having a nice time. Food was fabulous, we all mainly opted for the roast beef Sunday lunch and it was superb, compliments to the kitchen staff.

Dessert menu very limited and lacking xx bar staff lovely sandwiches we had were amazing xxx

Really good Sunday early dinner. I opted for fish and chips. Even though the batter was slightly over cooked, the meal on the whole was very tasty. The homemade tartar sauce was a nice touch. And the Goose Eye beer was extra tasty. Staff were very friendly & helpful. And the atmosphere was nice.

We called for a drink so didn't eat. A lovely,cosy, traditional pub. It was busy with most people dining which is a good sign. We will definitely return for a meal.

Friendly and traditional Yorkshire pub. Great food, friendly talkative staff and locals. Roast beef and proper Yorshire puds was a good choice. Great selection of beers as well. Roaring fire was most welcome on a raw day. Well worth the walk from Keighley, even with the steep hills facing us on the way back. Will definitely visit again next time we visit the area.

Can't get enough of this place, it's so warm and inviting ( Proper old school pub ) roaring wood fire, and the food is amazing especially the steak pudding, I'm actually going back tomorrow to Try the Sunday roast for the first time, and I honestly can't wait and it's worth every penny and the Hour car journey every time. We took friends visiting from Ireland to lunch at this lovely, cosy pub/restaurant - on the most bleak, cold, wet of winter days - and were given a warm welcome, a table by a roaring fire and the most lovely food. I would say it was one of the best meals we have had in quite some time. Very friendly, welcoming staff. We will locally and will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

Fantastic meal. We had the spring rolls and the potato and spring onion fritters both were absolutely delicious and a very generous portion. Followed up with a roast, had both meats and they were both great - cooked perfectly and served with delicious sides. Not too much on the plate to be over-faced but the perfect amount. Will definitely be back and will certainly come during the week too to try the evening menu. Lovely friendly staff and a perfect atmosphere. Busy but not overcrowded and a lovely fire that was kept topped up. Will be highly recommending.

Hugely impressed - fab roast dinners (ohhh- the beef & Yorkie ❤️), nice varied menu including beautiful hot sandwiches for when you don't want to go all out, restaurant dishes or Pub standards done expertly. Nice lil' village down the road from k-town, outside eating area, lovely warm atmosphere & friendly attentive staff. Good whiskey & general drink range. Highly recommended eatery.*Amended to remove a reference to something as I've now been many times & it never happened again so was just bad timing. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on probably the best pub in Yorkshire (& therefore most likely the world) because of one inattentive dog owner.

My first visit here and wow, the food is great. Me and my partner sampled the lunch menu and if that is anything to go by, I bet the main menu is even better. The crispy chicken ciabatta was well cooked, with the chicken moist and not dry. The spicy mayo complimented it very well. Lovely fries too. The lemon and lime cheese cake for dessert was beautiful. I can't fault anything. The presentation was very good and it is a nice place to relax whilst enjoying good food. Lovely staff too who explained the new menu that was on offer

We live in walking distance and an impromptu walk turned into a 2 pint stopover - nothing to complain about. Meals are great here but we didn't eat on this occasion.

I've always been impressed by how friendly The Turkey Inn is. It's by no means my local but on each occasion I've gone there, notably when I arrive on my own to wait for someone, it's been busy but the punters have always found time to say hello and make me feel comfortable. It kinda reminds me of Cheers, where everybody knows your name.

Found this place by accident. One of the few places left that genuinley treat the customers, like they are wanted. Food excellant, beer first class. Just be aware of the home made scratings, they are to die for, but not if uv booked a table. Goping to come back soon. Ps prices more than fair, in this recession.

Disappointing, especially having heard such good reviews. Booked over phone - told "computer" would allocate seats! We were placed in far corner of restaurant next to bags of laundry (having asked can we be in bar alcoves). NB there were no other diners and only 3 at the bar. Food was underwhelming - a mediocre steak but placed on top of a green salad which covered two thirds of the plate and had grated cheese all over the top! No presentation skills - I needed a side plate to transfer huge salad in order to cut the steak. The side order for one was 10 onion rings, 10 mushrooms and 10 cherry tomatoes - ok, very generous but what a waste. No one asked if we wanted more drinks. Big confusion over what deserts were available; the chocolate brownie disappointed. Upon trying to pay, the waitress said she had finished her shift we would have to get someone else...I left with the dog, my partner waited 10 mins before she could pay - at which point the waitress said "are you paying the full bill or splitting it?" ! A shame for - it used to be fantastic; I simply hope it was an off day...

Gorgeous place with really nice food, a warm atmosphere and incredibly lovely staff.

Smaller fathers day menu today so not a huge amount of choice, however all three meals were absolutely cooked to perfection. Staff were helpful and attentive, and there was plenty of choice of both indoor and outdoor seating. Great atmosphere, and it's lovely to have a pub that welcomes dogs too.

Amazing place... roast beef sandwich was the best I have ever had.. beef was tender and with onion gravy tasted absolutely amazing. All of the staff were attentive and helpful. Super dog friendly inside and outside the pub. A total little gem and a lovely walk around goose eye... lovely atmosphere too.. I really can't say enough about how good this place is.. thank you for a lovely lunch yesterday.
