Absolutely beautiful Sunday roast. Starters were fabulous, couldn't fit in a pudding! Maybe next time. Even boxed up my leftovers for me to take home. Perfect

Wanted to book a space to host a family gathering for my daughter’s 21st. From first contact everyone was friendly and attentive offering various options for the food which I have to say was excellent We were looked after throughout the evening and when the staff realised a lot of the food was left went out of their way to offer to box up the cold items and the hot food was put in take away tubs We were all happy with this as everything was excellent quality and I’m sure the veg curry will be enjoyed for days to come Marcus and George were so helpful and friendly I was have no hesitation in recommending Woodys and will definitely be back soon

Went for the first time expecting great things after seeing the reviews. We were expecting great things. The menu seemed limited and the food served was just ok I’m sorry to say the bucket of chips served with the pie was massive and overfacing and the hunters chicken had no sauce we asked for extra sauce but were given a small pot of bbq sauce The staff didn’t come and ask if everything was ok and not once asked if we wanted more drinks the dining room feels a bit dated sorry it just wasn’t for us

Amazing food. Had the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce, cooked to perfection. lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! Can’t wait to visit again.

My partner and I visited for a cheeky meal out without the kids. The menu is varied and caters for every taste. The food was amazing and really good value, we ate every single morsel and enjoyed every mouthful. The service was warm and friendly and we were made to feel extremely welcome. We will definitely return and may even bring the kids next time as the food is great value and high quality.

Had late Sunday lunch there 8th Sept, staff was so helpfull, as I didnt book was working near there, gave us a warm welcome with oustanding service, food was excellent. will return.

Recently had buffet here after a funeral. The food was better than most restaurants, large portions and wide to variety. The staff were all very kind and helpful, even taking time to answer questions from the youngest of our family. It was a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. I noticed the local connection with kids from school playing outside and locals popping in... Such a little gem of a place. Thank you

Well I went there yesterday,with my guest,the food was absolutely amazing,Lee the chef is one talented guy and knows exactly what the customer requires and knows his regular customer's requirements this establishment should be Michelin 5vstar rated,I came from Lincoln and was absolutely blown away,my steak was the best I have ever tasted,the entertainment was absolutely brilliant, I highly recommend this establishment and I can't wait to go here again.Well done Westlands Hotel &Pub.👍👍👍👍

My partner and I have recently discovered this place just round the corner from home. We've been twice now and the food is delicious and good value. We loved the burgers, and the burger sauce was excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and the service is friendly.

I booked at quite short notice to take my mum out for Mother’s Day with my husband and sister and needed a dog friendly place as well. We have never been here before but we can’t believe what we have been missing. A welcoming friendly pub, serving wonderful food! We all had the prawn cocktail to start which was absolutely delicious and very upmarket- a delicious mix of king prawns, breaded prawns and smaller prawns in cocktail sauce. Three of us had Sunday roasts which were huge portions with beautifully cooked turkey, beef and pork loin with home made pigs in blankets, loads of lovely veggies , Yorkshire and gravy. My sister had a tasty lasagne with chips and salad. None of us could finish or main courses but my sister had sticky toffee pudding which again was a very good portion and she said was delicious. The staff were attentive, and nothing too much trouble. Our doggy was pleased with his doggy bag in the shape of a foil swan ! I never usually post reviews but you deserve all the success you get as we had a lovely afternoon and we will be back,

We went for Mother’s Day and it’s was superb 👌 the food was delicious, couldn’t fault anything. I had the Sunday roast and it’s the best I’ve had by far. The deep fried cauliflower was something else 👌

Back for Mother’s Day and the food was fabulous. Beef melted in your mouth loads and veg as well and a good choice. But the steak tartare was delicious first time we have tried it and loved it , blackpudding scotch was also tasty and our desert banana split not what you would expect but the taste I could have eaten another !

What a nice change to go to a Pub that is high rated and then have a really nice experience! Tucked away, this pub has a welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed the burger offer and they did not disappoint! Rib eye on top of a generous beef Pattie with bacon and cheese! Honestly… we will go back.

I was given a glowing recommendation about this place so thought I'd give it a try. My friend is Gluten free but luckily for her we landed on Friday which was fish and chips special day and her gluten free was as good as mine. Beautiful crunchy batter, home made chips, tatare and the gravy boat was out of this world. We'll definitely be back now we've found it

booked it based on seeing the tripadvisor reviews. got there and wasn't expecting it to be a set menu (it was valentine's day) but we stayed anyway and were glad we did. food was amazing, steak was cooked perfectly and the service was perfect.

Always a great meal but tonight was outstanding, the fillet steak was perfectly cooked, super staff as usual. So glad this is our local.

Popped in without booking Sunday evening the place was very busy ,we were given a table pretty much straight away ,the staff are excellent and very friendly and attentive, the food was served promptly and piping hot ,great value ,lovely tasty food ,staff are very very good ,no wonder the pub gets fantastic ratings Well done all ,nothing was too much trouble!

We visited for the BOGOF burger deal and was thoroughly impressed. The burgers were among the best I've ever had, offering generous portions for the price. Holly, our server, was incredibly friendly and attentive, consistently ensuring we were satisfied and even went the extra mile by returning my forgotten handbag in the car park. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll certainly be returning soon. A solid 10/10.

Absolutely amazing food, let down badly by very poor service. We went for the Curry night on Wednesday, and were never asked for drinks as we were seated, nor during the meal, even with empty glasses at the table! Starters and mains were as usual, very high quality, worthy of stars! but waitresses in croccs, taking personal calls on their mobile while serving, doesn't give the right impression. We were never offered a desert menu, we had to ask for one! We would have had coffees and brandy's, but just sat there, with no service, we left. I feel for the owner trying to build the business, and the lost revenues!

Went Sunday with my family (Jane Keiss) we had the beef dinner and it was delicious the only thing I would say is to much salt in the Yorkshire puddings but other than that 100% perfect. Great variety of veg , potatoes and plenty of beef . What you don’t eat they will gladly rub up for you to take home. . The staff are all amazing and go above and beyond to make your visit special. Definitely will go again plus they have a food loyalty scheme so winner winner delicious beef dinner 😁

Great food, prompt service but music way way too loud drowning out any possible conversation. Glad we'd almost finished our meal before music started as we were glad to leave. Wouldn't visit again if music on. Already really noisy in dining area which was problematic...

Lovely food and service couldn’t do enough for us. We went on Friday fish and chips special it was so fresh and light the gammon was large and cooked to perfection with an abundance of trimmings.

What a lovely place to eat. We four friends went to eat there on Saturday evening. We had three different meals all were excellent, very nicely presented with lovely special touches such as the fish and chips came with freshly made tartar sauce, curry sauce...

Tapas night. What it change it was amazing entertainerment. My waitresses was shelby and maddison they literally run round so we didn't have to move from our seats, defiantly a lovely experience we will be back again.

We went Christmas eve, the meal was absolutely gorgeous, one of the nicest meals I have had in a very long time. The staff could not do enough for you and were very courteous.
