The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Vietnamese food

Went with a couple of friend for din dins. When we first arrived they said we had to wait an hour to be seated, I asked for a booking and after a lil tug of war he agreed to seat us in an hours time. Now, unfortunately I wasn't able to try the pho because I told them I had a coriander intolerance and they absolutely refused to sell me anything with coriander in it. (So be warned, if you wanna take that risk don't say anything 😅...I play with my life so its good). I ended up have the wok friend chicken and prawns noodles, which were okay....a bit basic and a bit dry and definitely not authentic. The spring rolls and calamari were delicious 10/10. I give them that! I tried my friends hot and spicy soup which again was okay but I didn't feel like the food transported me anywhere.

My daughter and I have been coming for years, both been to Vietnam and this place is like being right back there..........they have kept the same items on menu and think we have tried everyone, and all brilliant.....always packed , Sad to hear they are moving as this is so near where we live, and large car park......Prices are so reasonable

My wife and I visited Pho in Guildford Town Centre on Friday the 29th of March at around 1pm. The food was good, the atmosphere was good but what I couldn't believe is how much of the job was left to one particular member of staff who seemed, from where I was looking, to be: managing the kitchen, cooking the food, taking the food to the tables, checking on customers and doing, quite frankly, most of the service. Whoever the blonde curly haired girl is who works here deserves more than the consistent complaints, we overheard, that she received from customers and staff alike. I am sure me and my wife will be back again soon as we did enjoy our noodle soup however I can't quite imagine what our dining experience would have been without this lady. My wife and myself were quite frankly amazed at the fact she was also cooking the food in the kitchen for a while also! We didn't catch her name but I felt compelled to inform to the fact that you have such an asset to your team as you better be promoting this girl immediately!

The staff are really nice, but the food was really poor quality. The Singapore noodles, with chicken & prawn contained exactly one prawn & my partners duck curry was mainly vegetables & duck skin. The food quality has definitely declined. We will not likeky visit again.

We were served by Siân and had a lovely evening. Service was quick as was the kitchen. My tofu Ca Ri and my partner's chilli tofu bún went down a treat. Order the tamarind tofu as well! Will be returning

Really enjoyable dinner. We went on a weeknight so it was relatively quiet. Service was great, orders taken swiftly and we got a refill of water without having to prompt anyone. Didn't feel rushed the whole dinner and everything was dealt with efficiently with a smile. Drink: bf had the carrot juice. I think he enjoyed it. I had the house white which I wouldn't recommend to drink on its own but with the food it was great. Food: Starter: they didn't have the spicy summer roll so we have the veggie summer roll and the chicken summer roll. Very good, fat and tasty rolls, and the dipping sauce really made it. They give you two rolls but in half, both chunky, but could have done with a third. Main: chicken pho: delicious, can't fault it. Thought the sides and the herbs were delicious. Bf had the 3 meat rice bowl. Looked delicious and he seemed to enjoy it! Would be more than happy to come back here again, there are so many tasty options on the menu to try and at very affordable prices especially for Wimbledon.

No había estado en Ladudu durante un número de años dado anteriormente el servicio terrible. Me decidí a intentarlo esta semana. La comida era sosa y inauthentic. En general, una experiencia decepcionante. Sugiero que la gente va a la vuelta de la esquina a Pham Casa para conseguir su éxito vietnamita la próxima vez. Está a un corto paseo y merece la pena!

L'endroit m'avait été recommandé et il est vrai qu'il vaut le détour. Le service est rapide et l'espace agréable, bien que couru. Le Banh Mi que j'ai commandé était savoureux et pas gras. A retester plus tard sans doute.

We visited yesterday for the first time, and decided to have lunch. It was really busy. I ordered gammon, egg and chips, which was supposed to come with onion rings, but there wasn't any, and no explanation as to why I didn't get them. The egg was hard boiled rather than fried, surely it's supposed to be runny... My partner ordered fish and chips, was under seasoned and batter was soggy. No one came to ask if our meals were OK, so not sure we would visit again. However the bar staff were friendly, so no complaints there.

We had Chicken Pho and Veg Pho. Soup was good but the rest was pretty tasteless. Not much effort to make it sing with fresh herbs and and spices like real good pho does. Noodles were over cooked and it was too hot. We’ll not be coming back.

Got the mixed Pho and it was huge, fragrant and delicious. Quick service and a good price, nice little restaurant.

Had the best pho in Viet Café, Denmark Hill on Saturday. The Banh Mi was delicious, very authentic. The café is rustic and a great place to catch up with friends or a bit of Me Time eating on my own. Tables were cleaned as soon as the customer leaves. We did not need to wait long after ordering the food. Highly recommended.

Unbelievably bad. If I thought small portions for big prices was bad could imagine how I felt when I took a bite from a salt and spicy spare rib and it started to bleed like a fresh slaughtered pig. If I had have eaten it then food poisoning was a definite. As luck would have it I noticed and left the extremely poor food that had been cooked or should say not cooked . If you wish to live another day without being poisoned then my advice is don’t go to the golden phoenix. Either they can’t cook and don’t care or the energy prices for gas are dangerously shortening their cooking times . Most certainly would not recommend this place.

Pho is decent, a bit bland and not enough noodles. Pork Chop is really good. Overall, food is satisfactory. However, BE WARNED HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!! The Hispanic female cashier/server that took our order via phone was highly unprofessional and rude when I went to pick up the food and told her she got the order wrong. She even repeated what we ordered on the phone, yet when I got there to pick it up, one of the order was the wrong item. Instead of offering to replace it with the correct order, she snapped with an attitude and said "well if you want your item you have to wait additional 10 minutes" in a disgruntle manner without any apology or professionalism. When I addressed to the manager how she had no regard for proper customer service, all he said was "I'm sorry" and that was it. I've been in the retail industry myself, including food industry as a waiter (including Pizza Hut, Red Lobsters, Champps, Clyde's, Hilton Hotel, Restaurant in Rockefeller, NYC) for over 8 years and never have I treated any customer with disrespect and with such negative attitude. When I told her "instead of throwing attitude in my direction to a customer, the right approach would be is to apologize and suggest on how to resolve the situation" and make sure the customer feels welcomed and encourage for a return, but instead she replied by saying "I'm not apologizing to you!" and just walked away while giggling to her co-worker. This experience was enough to never go back, and support their business ever again, and I am writing this review to warn other customers to be aware of how they treat their customers!!!!
