Just had the Bun Hue and it was fairly average for London - if maybe a little below average. The broth lacked any real depth of flavour and the prawns may as well have not been there. The noodles were nice and soft, not stuck together and it had a good level of heat from the chillies. The staff were friendly and it was reasonable value for money.

I come here once a week for a tasty lunch. Seating is limited, so I get takeaway. I don't think I've had a better lunch for the price.

Pho looks nothing like the photo above. Broth tasted like salt and water. Because of that, the whole bowl tasted ugly. Prawn wasn't fresh, beef too dry.

I will be using this place for lunch regularly now I've experienced their king prawn rice dishes. Fresh, healthy food served by polite and attentive staff. I found the prices very reasonable.

I went to this place after being recommended by someone. I must say that the baguette was nice though not the best I ve had. You ned to have a large baguette to justify lunch. I haven't tried any of the other dishes but i ve got to know from friends that they are pretty good. the staff was nice.

Love this place. For under a fiver you can get a filling fresh and tasty lunch, and even sit in if they have a space free. The have a small menu but do it well. I recommend the satay chicken, lemon grass pork and betel leaf wrapped pork, on rice, noodle salad or baguette. I think the pho is light and delicious - better than any chain shop offerings. I also recommend the spicy prawn crackers and freshly squeezed lime juice. The food is a little garlicky so maybe not one to eat before a meeting.

I work around the corner from Chi and am always happy to be served there. The old vietnamese gentleman is always pleasant and the food always tasty and fresh. I normally go for the banh mi lemon grass pork which is packed full of pickled carrot and meat and a generous amount of coriander (big fan of fresh coriander) or the vermicelli salads if I'm trying to be healthier. There's sriracha source on the little tables so you can add a bit of extra kick yourself. Great little business which does it's staples well.

You’re going to be hard pressed to find a better lunch for £5 in central London. In fact you’re going to struggle to find better Vietnamese in London - Chi is among the best I’ve had. They’ve got the formula right – a small menu done really well. My pick is definitely the noodle salad – in particular the one with betel leaf pork (£5). The serves are generous, with fresh ingredients and big flavours – how Vietnamese food should be.I’ve had the pho a couple of times as well and can recommend it. There’s probably better pho around, but not for £6. I’ve been saving up the banh mi – but judging from the numbers of I’ve seen going out the door they must be alright as well.Chi is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I love Vietnamese food so was really looking forward to eating here. I thought prices seemed reasonable and staff seemed lovely. The pho I ordered was lighter than expected but that didn't mean it lacked in flavour. I'd like to go back and try their noodle salads. I did try the pork summer rolls and was a little disappointed as they were slightly dry. Overall I liked the place and would come back but I have had better quality Vietnamese in London -I.e cay tre, banh mi bay, & mien tay

I love their noodle salads! Well-cooked noodles in crisp lettuce and carrots, topped with nuts and fried onions to give texture. So cheap too - only £5. Wish my office was closer, I would go here every day!

Went with a couple of friend for din dins. When we first arrived they said we had to wait an hour to be seated, I asked for a booking and after a lil tug of war he agreed to seat us in an hours time. Now, unfortunately I wasn't able to try the pho because I told them I had a coriander intolerance and they absolutely refused to sell me anything with coriander in it. (So be warned, if you wanna take that risk don't say anything 😅...I play with my life so its good). I ended up have the wok friend chicken and prawns noodles, which were okay....a bit basic and a bit dry and definitely not authentic. The spring rolls and calamari were delicious 10/10. I give them that! I tried my friends hot and spicy soup which again was okay but I didn't feel like the food transported me anywhere.

Can’t stand this place. Not authentic Vietnamese cuisine at all. AND they are so stupid for trademarking the word Pho.
