Phochimama in Hackney

Gran ambiente, me encanta la decoración. El servicio fue amable y rápido también. La porción de comida era generosa y deliciosa. No esperaba un sabor tan auténtico a la comida que se ofrece ahora moderna, pero se ve. Por lo general, voy a una tienda a unas pocas tiendas de aquí, ¡pero esta será mi visita a partir de ahora!

Not my first visit or my first review of this place. Service from the member of staff was perfect and was never rushed as customers. The food was cooked well and arrived quickly. Would recommend. It is a place that is quiet at times and at full capacity during regular meal times.

Enjoyed a family get together whilst savouring delicious tasty food. All the Vietnamese favourites are featured including their excellent Pho. We’ve visited the competition along the street but keep coming back here. Give them a try, I’m confident you won’t be disappointed.

The food was fresh and arrived quickly. The service was good despite it being busy. Not my first time here and will go again.

Fui con un amigo a almorzar y fue genial. La comida llegó muy rápido y estaba deliciosa, y el servicio fue amable, completamente agradable y servicial. El curry de verduras es imprescindible y los pasteles también! :)

I had a pleasant time in this establishment, although when I came I was the only one. The service was quick, and the waitress was not busy, so she catered to my needs well. I had a very nice dessert - mochi rice balls in honey and ginger sauce as well. The only thing bothering me was music, she was playing it on her phone, and I could her notification sounds a lot.

A very bad experience in this restaurant at Sunday night. The waitress just used a pocker face whe he took a wrong order and ask me for 20 mins for waiting the food. After my friend has done her food, my order need to prepare more than 15 mins. Finally, I did need to cancel and back home with a very bad mood and hungry. Besides that, the price is quite higher than their neighbors, they are quite new in this street and I am not recommend for authentic Vietnamese food. Highly recommend for Song Que or Mien Tay which are nearly.

I've tried many Vietnamese restaurants on Kingsland Road and this one is clearly the best so far. Being half Vietnamese and having travelled to Vietnam a lot, I'm very picky with Vietnamese food. The food is fresh, you can tell the ingredients are of very good quality. The variety of dishes is nice, with a lot of vegan options too. I like that you really get that freshness and refinement of Vietnamese food, which I could not find in any other restaurant so far. Everything was well seasoned too. The riceballs in ginger soup dessert was excellent! The staff was nice and friendly, although service a bit long despite not having a lot of people in the restaurant (which is why only 4/5). I liked the decor, clean and modern. Really recommend!

I highly recommended this place. The BBQ pork, spring rolls and sweet potato fritters are to die for. Unlike many other restaurant in the area, their BBQ meat is actually cooked over a charcoal BBQ, you can definitely taste the difference. I will definitely be back soon, my new favourite place

Brilliant dinner on a Friday night. The place wasn’t busy and our food arrived quickly. Service was good. The food was good, too!
