I’m obsessed! This was our first time delivering and there was nothing but sounds of enjoyment. Everything was well packaged and secure to avoid any spills. Will definitely being visiting the store soon to dine in!

The best Vietnamese restaurant ever! We had a dinner at Viet Grill but hadn’t expected the food to be so great. It was literally the best Vietnamese meal we have ever tried in the UK. The food was well marinated and gracefully cooked. We found the crispy squid extremely tasty because the freshness of squid was well preserved with good seasoning of salt and pepper. As Chinese we are extremely picky about food taste but I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed here. After checking out my friend forgot to claim the bill for personal use and I called the restaurant for assistance. The staff were all very nice and helped send the photocopy back to us. We will definitely schedule our next dinner here!

We had a deliveroo delivery from Viet Grill at work. I had the braised and caramelised catfish which was amazing. There was a lot of high praise from others too.

I ordered the food online from this place and they were cooking the food for 1.5 hours. The initial time was way shorter — 20 minutes . They did not provide any explanations or compensations. I would recommend to this place at all bar.

Friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend the anchovy chicken wings to start, they’re delicious. For mains we shared the campfire steak which is aromatic and super tasty, plus the honey crispy chicken and rice which was also 💯. Best meal I’ve eaten in ages - really outstanding.

I’ve had some pork bowl dish for lunch which I later vomited up. 6 hrs later and I still feel really queasy . There were 3 of us for lunch , no one enjoyed it and 2 out of 3 felt ill. Have eaten there before and it was ok but won’t be going back after today

By far the most flavourless Viet meal I ever had. The pho was water with some sesame oil and some frozen veggies. The other meal was the same frozen veggies undercooked with overcooked tofu. No taste, nothing Viet about it, but very expensive. Very disappointed and I highly recommend not to go there. Unless you want tea, the oolong tea was ok.

We found this gem on our xmas night out before heading to Wiltons Music Hall for a panto and the staff were so helpful in getting our food quickly. We would like to return when we were not in such a hurry. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were super friendly and the food delicious.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in London. It’s a bit on the pricier side but food was bomb. Definitely order the: - Banh Cuon Hanoi - Thit Kho To with Jasmine Rice - Bun Cha Hà Nội - Goi Du Du (Papaya Salad) Will come back!

Popped in out the cold and place did not disappoint. very good food and highly recommend the Beef Pho, the original one. the summer spring rolls were great and very big. staff were accommodating and very friendly. don't forget to ask for that little sauce... the one with chunks of garlic and chilli.

Portion was on the smaller side but enough for someone with a small appetite. Beef was tasty - especially the fatty flank. I liked the broth more than the noodles. It came around £17 for one person for just a bowl of pho. Definitely on the pricer side.

This place hits the spot every time. The phos are hearty and flavourful, with fresh herbs and bean sprout toppings. I love the garlic beef pho. The rice rolls are amazing with the bbq pork, very generous portion and it slaps. Also I love the vietnamese iced coffee. Definitely visit this place for amazing vietnamese food, or order for delivery. Their packaging for delivery is very secure and the food quality doesn't diminish.

It's a crime that this restaurant has a 4 star reviews. Their pho and Banh Cuon (rice rolls) should win awards. I order from this restaurant so often and I think it deserves some attention.

I'm a Vietnamese. When I went to this restaurant to eat, there was an employee with short blonde hair who was very rude to us. chị tóc vàng ngắn hãm ít thôi, trước khi lấy đĩa đồ ăn của khách thì mở mồm ra mà hỏi trước.

This is the best authentic Vietnamese food I’ve had outside Vietnam! The portions are decent and all of the cocktails are great, especially the coffee one!

Avoid. Slow, indifferent, and condescending service. It was not busy and we didn’t have a large or complicated order. Yet, we waited for a long time before our order was taken, waited quite a while for our summer rolls and waited over half an hour for our mains. We didn’t get the water we asked for and had to get up and ask for it again, and we also had to get up and inquire about our mains. We also asked to have a basic portion of noodles for the children but were told that we can’t have it because it’s not on the menu, which is ridiculous because it’s the main ingredient in many of the dishes. So we ended up fishing the noodles from our own soups and putting it on the kids’ plates. Overall it was a disappointing experience and I was unhappy to be charged a service fee for a service that didn’t exist. There are plenty of Vietnamese restaurants nearby, and that’s where I’ll be going next time.

I really enjoyed the rice sheets (beef) thingy, surprisingly good. I think it’s very different from the rice sheet dishes we had elsewhere, strong flavored soup. Excellent service, wish table would be less sticky next time when we come to try other dishes:)

A very surprising and impressive restaurant. Real good quality food. Great service too. A real surprising dish which everyone must try is the rice sheets with grilled pork, I’m sure restaurant can correct me with an exact name. One of the best dishes I’ve had in any restaurant this year. Wish I took more pics. I ordered a wok fried pho, very saucy and lots of meat and veg. Fried rice with pork chops was very pleasing to take home. Spring rolls were nice, meaty and flavoursome. Summer rolls were great. Only wish was just a bit more peanut sauce with my summer rolls. 9.5

Best Spring rolls I've had in London. The beef pho was flavorful and had an ample amount of fat and umami. Really authentic taste, similar to the taste when I had pho in Hong Kong.

Excellent food and good service. 6 of us had lunch together and really enjoyed it. Loved my Hanoi char grilled belly pork. Big portions! Only 3 stars for atmosphere because it was lunchtime midweek and rather empty, but that suited us as we could have a good chat without disturbing anyone. Thank you to the other diner who kindly took an excellent picture of our group for us. Hope we weren't too noisy for you.

Had high hopes for this restaurant but as someone who lived in Saigon for 4 years, I was extremely disappointed. No bún thịt nướng on the menu, and when I asked for it the waitress pointed at the bun cha and told me it was the same thing, which it really isn't. Had the Phở Bò among other dishes and nothing was very tasty. No fresh chilli which might have helped a little. Overall very disappointed.

I think this restaurant deserves 5-stars, and the Vietnamese foods here are one of the most authentic Vietnamese foods I ever have had in London. The taste of foods is rich and excellent. Will certainly come visit again!

Viet Grill is an incredibly underrated Vietnamese restaurant that deserves more recognition. The pho they serve is simply outstanding, among the best I've ever tasted. Although the selection of side vegetables is limited to coriander, fresh bean sprouts, and mint, the broth itself is exceptional, and the beef is remarkably tender, cooked right on point. While the cold dishes may suffer from being made ahead of time and lack freshness, the hot dishes I sampled were truly outstanding. The value for money is impressive, and once you experience Viet Grill, you'll never want to go back to chain food restaurants like Pho.

Disappointed as they was mix up with our table even though we booked it felt like we were shoved in a corner food was good service was fast but poor my sister in law waited so long for two dishes we ended up sharing our food with her by the time her dishes came the rest of us we're half way through our food. No Alcohol sold but you can bring wine or beer they charge £4 a glass

No idea what the food is like but my 5 year old desperately needed the toilet earlier and so I went in with her and asked to use the toilet but the manager said no and told us they were for customers only and we should go elsewhere. Just plain mean

Finally a decent bun bo hue in central London! Moved here from Sydney and have been long searching for an authentic bowl of BBH. Visited for lunch, ordered Bun Bo Hue, Saigon banh cuon and a side of chicken wings. The BBH was funky, fragrant, spicy and very tasty! We've been to all of the main viet restaurants on the strip (i.e. Kingsland Road) and all of the BBH's at each of them are not BBH - more akin to Pho with a little bit of spice (with no shrimp paste at all and even served with pho noodles), so it was nice to finally get a proper bowl of BBH. Whilst not quite the Saigon or Sydney standard of BBH with the blood jelly, banana flower, and super deep flavoursome soup, it is perfect for any Viet travelling in and craving a good bowl of BBH. Banh cuon was also very nice - steamed on site so it was fluffy and soft. Chicken wings were tasty. Bonus points for condiments - pickled chilli and garlic, and sate on request.

My Vietnamese friend took me to this place once and I keep coming whenever I crave Vietnamese. I love their prawn papaya salad and their Pho. Service is good too.

Party of 5 on a Wednesday night. The place was buzzing and packed. Really enjoyed the food but the best was the house specialty steamed crepes. Very authentic and fresh. Way better than the steamed crepes in Hong Kong. The summer rolls and salt and pepper squid were also good. Hands down the best Vietnamese I have tried in London on this trip. Went back on Thursday for lunch which is a nice quiet atmosphere. A great lunch set is available for £14.95 and the original pho is very good.

Dropped into this place before and after an event we were attending locally. The small plate dishes Betal Leaf Dumplings, salt and pepper squid and the special rice rolls with pork and Asian mushrooms were delicious. Portions were good sized. House red wine was inexpensive and ok. On the return visit we had pho which was also very good. Recommended place. Service a little inattentive at times.

This place is absolutely Devine! The aesthetics are a bit dated, however the food is very fresh and delicious 🤩🤩👌🏻 I es street with friends and we shared around 6-7 dishes they were all great! The cocktails were a bit watery, so after the first round we just switched to spirits and mixers. You absolutely have to try the pancakes 😍😍🔥👌🏻 just beautiful 👌🏻 The prices are definitely reasonable for the portions are quality of food.

Very good food. Nice and generous portions. Sharing starters would be a good idea before your own mains, the atmosphere is nice and great. Very spacious with downstairs spaces as well. Do get crowded during dinning hours, recommend to reserve a table to prevent waiting time.

Never been here before. We stumbled upon it, went in and had a Bun Sa with tofu and stir fried egg noodles with chicken. The taste was out of this world. We were both raving about it as we ate, and one of us at least is not easily pleased! The food arrived quickly, the portions were generous and the taste was amazing. Really recommend it!

Sister restaurant to Cay Tre - great food and pho

Great place for a nice long boozy lunch with family. Food was excellent a very good value.

5 of us went out for my sister’s birthday. Service was ok. Food was ok but all our meals came out at different times. One main came with the starters. Not all the starters came at the same time then all the mains came out one at a time. Coconut prawn curry was the best. Campfire stew was bland.

I've always liked Viet Grill but not been for a long time. Some of the recent reviews nearly put me off coming but I'm glad we did. We were a table of four booked for 7pm on a Thursday night and the service was polite and the food was good. No complaints.

I don't usually give such poor reviews but I will not go back here. Very unclean. I seen a mouse run from the kitchen to the bar area. Mentioned this to a member of staff who stated it is a recent problem, whilst handing us our bill with full service charge. When we discussed the issue with the manager she stated 'we have already removed the service charge' as if this isn't optional anyway! We paid £40 of our £50 bill as we point blank said we would not pay more, which she reluctantly accepted. Food was OK, but wish we hadn't ate there knowing what we know now. Had one bite of a prawn cracker and it was stale. I'd like to state, I know mice problems can be a thing, especially in built up areas with lots of restaurants etc and if I seen the place clean and the mouse I would not be so harsh - but it was dirty, so in hindsight not surprised they have rodents. Shame, because it has the potential to be great.

This is the closest we have come to authentic vietnamese food in London. Wow is an underground! The quality of food, taste portions and value for money is amazing! Decent, local Vietnamese restaurant. Between the two of us, we shared the imperial spring rolls (good), Hanoi style bahn cuon (tasty and good portion size), the chicken breast pho (broth was clear and super hearty) and the Hanoi grilled pork bun cha (not bad but found the grilled pork and broth quite oily). The lychee martini was great as well. The service was efficient but as the night got busier, it was harder to flag down the waiters for the bill.

Really good food, but the service is lacking. Visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon, with less than half the tables taken, and although there were plenty of staff on they weren't especially attentive and didn't bring all the food we ordered. I also think they forgot one of the drinks as it arrived after the food did. It wouldn't have been quite so bad had there not been a service charge too.

Bad bad service! Placed an order through Deliveroo - the delivery time showed up as 40 minutes and an hour and a half later the food still hasn’t arrived. On inquiry- we were told by Deliveroo that the driver had to come back as the order wasn’t ready. Why take orders if you cant deliver in time. Inefficiency and incompetence at its best! Avoid placing orders with them on Deliveroo. Embarrassing in front of guests!

Their food taste the same with what i had in Vietnam. Tasty and authentic. Try their Banh Cuon , Pho or Catfish then you wont be disappointed. Always recommend this restaurant for my friends when they ask about my fav Vietnamese restaurant in London.

Viet Grill definitely exceeded my expectations and I love the combination of delicious Vietnamese food that’s also quite affordable. I appreciate the wide selection of Vietnamese dishes that you can choose from so you can try dishes that you won’t commonly find in other London Vietnamese restaurants. My favorite was the order of Achovied Chicken wings. If you want rice, definitely have it with a serving of the Pork Belly Stew or the Claypot Mekong Catfish. For the more health-conscious foodie, a warm bowl of Pho would be the perfect meal. It has a little bit of everyone and is great value-for-money!

Worst dinner service I’ve had in as long as I can remember No drink for over 30-45 minutes, not even water had to request several times and eventually got up and got it myself. No starters for over an hour without update Asked to speak to manager and found him shouting at staff in the kitchen No order for mains taken until requested several times Asked to cancel dessert (set menu) and wasn’t cancelled from the bill - refused to charge correct price so we all left being owed money. Overpaid despite asking for service charge to be taken off due to terrible experience. Lovely waiter dealing with an awfully managed restaurant with too many sittings, more than could be served whilst having take out meal requests constantly. Would never return

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience yesterday at the restaurant. We had a group reservation for 15+ friends for my dear friends birthday. We chose for the set menu for an easy dining experience and have not really been catered for. We got no drinks or menu when we arrived and literally got dehydrated after an hour and asking for service several times. The group rather spoke about other subjects than talking about having no water on the table. My friend asked kindly for service and to cancel dessert because the service took to long and we had to leave. The restaurant charged us 34.60£ for a set menu price excl dessert for 26£. We cancelled dessert. That’s a lot of service for no service. Another friend complained about the bill and his query was not honoured. I don’t like to complain however the experience was not what you’d expect at a birthday party. We are reasonable people who understand hospitality, however after speaking up we still got charged a lot of service. Please refund. You have our contact details.

Great authentic food. We often come here when we want to have really good food and service. The place is always busy, which is a testament to the quality of the food. The king prawn curry is so delicious.
