Amazing authentic Vietnamese food!!

The starters were nice, but the pho was disappointing, it tasted only like way too much clove

Really really good Got the tofu and aubergine rice and it was really incredible.

I have been hoping to find something more authenticly Vietnamese here in London, finally friend brought me to this street where there are more than a dozen of Vietnamese restaurants, how interesting! We got into this one and found the menu is super extensive. They offer not only the iconic ones like pho bo, pho ga, bun (rice vermicelli) and com (rice) dishes, but they also have bun xeo, bun rieun, bun cuon and many many more. The herbs they offer is so generous and fresh. I am just so satisfied and happy, price is sooo reasonable 🤩🤩🤩 wish they have more branches!

Delicious food! Quick and polite service. I had the beef brisket pho - the broth was full of flavour and the meat so tasty. Great range of options on the menu. Large portions. Can’t wait to go back

This is our go to place for dinner when meeting the wife after work. Food always good, service okay, and good prices. Also has a lunch menu which is really reasonable.

Best pho I have tasted in London

I have been going to this place for years, always thought the owner is very friendly. However, recently we sent back a dish due to its weird and unfresh taste. The two waiters (one young male and one young female) were unable to handle situations like this, was not apologetic at all and did not explain response from the kitchen until we asked for it. And then the response is: kitchen said it is alright. None of the two waiters are apologetic. We paid the bill in full amount including. discretionary but will refrain from going there in the future

Frequent customer but recently noticed fluctuations in food quality and service. Definitely recommend the banh cuon and beef fried pho, while pho and some of the rice dishes could vary

Had hu tieu, bun cha, duck bun. They meet the standard of food I have had in Hanoi. My hu tieu includes 3 prawns, 2 squill eggs, very tender cha siu and generous amount of minced pork. It also comes in decent portion to make you full. Spring rolls that come with buncha is very crispy and delicate, the pork balls are perfectly charred giving it nice texture and small. Service is fast, environment is nice and comfy. Definitely coming back to try other dishes. Please ask the staff for recommendations and try something new instead of sticking with beef pho, this restaurant is full of gem.

Best place we’ve been to for pho in London so far. It’s no match for Vietnamese food in Sydney but it satisfies the occasional craving.

Authentic Viet food. Amazing! Would recommend. I normally order online, this is my first time visit them in person, super surprise and content 😋 We ordered pork and mushroom steamed rice roll, aubergine and pork belly, long beans, grilled goat.

Definitely my favourite of the Kingsland Road Vietnamese spots- delicious bun cha and a really perfect papaya salad. It's always busy and can sometimes feel a bit hurried, but a spot in the window on a rainy day is hard to beat.

Food was legitimately great. Came in for lunch, fried spring roles were crispy and not at all oily. The pork belly was really good - not too fatty, well seasoned and cooked. The spicy beef with rice could’ve been spicier but overall great Flavour. Solid lunch spot.

Used to love this place. Since they relocated they did a bad fit out and the restaurant is always cold. I asked the staff to put on the a/c. They said they need approval from the manager. I asked her to ask him and she responded that he is not in. Crazy. All customers are wearing coats. Plenty of other Vietnamese options on the same street. Will go elsewhere.

Food was okay and staff were friendly, but one of my friends ordered spring rolls that seem taste odd and dry. When we mentioned it, they didn’t seem to care and didn’t offer to fix it.

Quick service, hot delicious food. Flavoursome and good portion size. Reasonable prices.

The best pho ever, the broth was sooo good before i even added anything. Cured my hangover i feel whole again. Amazing service too, kept getting my water and green tea filled up for me when i had just finished (even at a busy lunch service!)

So far the best Vietnamese food I've found in London, even better flavour than some decent Viet restaurants in Vietnam and San Francisco. I asked the staff what was good and authentic, they helped with suggestions and it didn't disappoint. Essentially they also have picked chillies and garlic on the tables, give the proper amount of herbs with each dish, and use proper fish sauce (not too sweet!). The staff was so attentive, the service was very fast, and the food was a fair price, I wouldn't want to pay more or less, and I left totally satisfied. If I lived closer I'd be back again immediately to try some of their interesting dishes- including beautiful sounding soups- I spotted ingredients like crab, quails eggs, blood sausages and various interesting innards, which most Vietnamese restaurants don't make in my area!

A small, local restaurant with good, simple food. Family-friendly atmosphere. I recommend it.

I LIKE THIS PLACE! IT HAS A KIND OF FRIENDLY, ALL-CAPS VIBE. BUSY, KINDA LOUD, BUT NOT, LIKE, TOO MUCH. BOLD AND AT THE SAME TIME UNDERSTATED. THE SERVERS ARE WELCOMING AND UNPRETENTIOUS, SO IS THE FOOD. I'D EAT HERE AGAIN.

I ordered takeaway from here a few months ago and I still think about it. The food was piping hot, it was rich in flavour but wasn’t heavy or hard to digest. I cannot stress enough that Vietnamese food is some of the best, especially from here.

Soweit ich das beurteilen kann sehr authentisch gekochte vietnamesische Küche. Sehr gut gekocht, mengenmäßig, von der Temperatur her, ideal gewürzt. Udon-Nudeln mit Pork und vegetarisches Curry mit Reis war beides sehr lecker. Offenes Esslokal in Dalston, Plätze sind begehrt, das Ambiente könnte gemütlicher sein, dafür ist der Service schnell und problemlos.

The worst service ever. Placed a order and wait 30 minutes for nothing. Finally my order was completely missed. Staffs are unfriendly and not willing to sort it out. Not recommend to visit here.

Best Vietnamese place I’ve eaten at in the U.K. so far. The bun cha is amazing, as is the salt and pepper tofu.

Decent prices, and large portions. Food was just okay. Servers were hostile but speedy.

Love this place. Usually I get the salads with spring rolls, but this time I had banh mi with tofu, so delicious. Tasty, juicy, fresh, just incredible. One of my fave places in east london. Fair prices as well.

i went here with some family since i was seeing a music festival (all points east on sunday 18th if you’re curious) and after the festival we decided to get some food. i got the rare steak beef pho - i liked it and it was pretty good. we also got something else that, if i’m being honest, i 100% forgot the name of, but it was chewy and had a really good dipping sauce so therefore it was good. hope you enjoy the picture in horrendous quality, since my digital camera just decided not to focus when all i wanted to do was eat as many noodles as possible. i still think about how good the broth was.

Ordered take out, my spicy coconut chicken curry was very salty, to the point of being in-edible. I have ordered from here before and it was nice, hence not 1 star.

Don’t go for lunch. They tell you 5 mins but then take half an hour.

Somos clientes habituales que trabajamos en Museum of the Home y nos quedamos sorprendidos. Nos gustó bastante la comida, pero honestamente nadie necesita abuso innecesario.

This place is so horrible now after the change of owner and chef. This was our go to back in the days and I will never go back anymore. We ordered specifically beef pho, clay pot cat fish, and sandwich. The pho was lukewarm, beef inside is extremely tough and the soup is full of msg( for someone who is very sensitive to it I can tell by my head buzzing). The clay pot cat fish is not made of cat fish and tastes like from a prep-made freezing pack in a dark kitchen. The sandwich is so bad I can’t even finish it. All the ingredients in taste not fresh and completely lost its flavour. Sad to see this restaurant turned into another western palette catering place turns like any dark kitchen takeaway.

2nd time back here. Absolutely love the pho, so hats off to the chefs in the kitchen. Service was good, although a little haphazard at times and almost as if trying too hard. Got our menus taken after we placed our order, and yet got asked 3 times if we’d been served yet. Water was also provided after we finished our meals, and then after paying we were asked how everything was (and it was great…), but then we got a scanner pushed in front of us to scan and leave a review. Been living in London for a couple of decades now, and first time I’ve seen this happen. Atmosphere was great. I believe they expanded their restaurant. It appears a little less authentic and cosy now, and catering more to the masses / tourists, but hey, I’m glad the business is doing well. Overall, still love this place and will be back for the pho. But, would recommend the waiters to try to be less over bearing and let the food speak for itself, because it’s more than good enough.

Best vietnamese food in London, by far!

Back here in 2024, to try out their new menu.. absolutely amazing. Roast duck, crispy pork and so much more. My new favourite steamed pork rolls. Their selection of drinks…wow just wow Fresh food, great flavours. Too many restaurants claim to serve traditional Vietnamese street food, this place however can definitely claim that. After coming back from Vietnam recently, iican say thi place is the closest you'll get for Bun Style noodles with real Vietnam flavours. Clean and cosy atmosphere too!

Took my family out for a meal for their first time eating Vietnamese food. They loved it! We ordered bún bò huế , banh xèo, fried spring rolls, seafood noodles, seabass and bún đặc biệt. Good portions too!

Would recommend the food and service here! 10 out of 10 🤩
