We had Chicken Pho and Veg Pho. Soup was good but the rest was pretty tasteless. Not much effort to make it sing with fresh herbs and and spices like real good pho does. Noodles were over cooked and it was too hot. We’ll not be coming back.

Ordered pho - tasty and really authentic compared to Pho in Ealing. Only complain is that the pho and soup came in the same bowl pre mixed. As you would expect, the noodles were all soggy and there was barely any soup left. I would suggest separating the noodles from the broth like every other Vietnamese takeaway shop to improve the quality of takeaway food.

We ordered their Pho soups via Deliveroo. For starters they've chopped the prawns in halves to make it look like a larger quantity than it really is and all it does mean that the prawns end up heavily overlooked and dried out and it becomes visible that the prawns haven been cleaned out either. As for a Pho dish, you expect a generous amount of delicious broth with added noodles and a choice of protein, however what we received was a bowl filled to the rim with rice noodles, three prawns chopped in half on top and almost no broth. Hard to believe that the price payed for it with a soft drink amounts to £14. The noodles should have been floating in the broth with fresh herbs and chillis, instead you get a bowl of cheap rice noodles with three prawns and some mint leaves. No fresh bean sprouts, coriander etc. It was a try but I will certainly not reorder and I can't recommend it. Disappointing and I feel me robbed of my money.

Customer service at the counter was really odd and staccato, as if they were highly educated people who were too proud to offer good service to slightly difficult customers (and I'll admit we were on that day - still doesn't explain the oddness of the service)Food was meh! I was introduced to this place with a colleague claiming that they made the best sandwiches in the world - a pretty big statement coming from a foodie - so I had high expectations when I went to this unassuming, small café. And I'm glad to say it did not disappoint. All of the ingredients they use are completely fresh and you can really taste it. The flavours are amazing - particularly the chicken and duck sandwiches - and considering the quality and quantity, I think they're fairly priced at a fiver.I haven't tried the other stuff on the menu yet - it's mainly soup/sandwiches/rolls/pho/curry/rice -, but after doing the usual rounds of snooping at other people's tables, I got food envy. All of the dishes are served generously and smell amazing. There's nothing particularly special about Ngon in terms of the interior or atmosphere, but basically, if you like food, then you'll love this place.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for a quick meal before heading over to an event in Chiswick, and we were not disappointed. The bubble tea was delicious (go for the coconut flavour with lychee pearl balls!) and the prawn/pork summer rolls were yummy, although could have done with a bit more flavour without dunking it in the sauce.I had the vermicelli bowl with pork and the ingredients were deliciously fresh - again, could have done with a little more sauce as the noodles are very plain, but I'm sure you could ask for more if you felt the same. The biggest win was that it was all over and done with in 20 minutes - they are super fast and friendly.

I usually go for the BBQ pork rice dish or Prawn summer roll or Shredded chicken Bahn Mi with a lychee bubble tea.The service is quick and friendly. The only small downside (getting really picky now!) is the music. They play a cd of fantastic songs but covered by appalling singers.. feels like you're stuck on hold on the phone / elevator / pensioner cruise ship. But it's not the sort of place you sit for hours! I am a huge fan of vietnamese food and have been to many vietnamese restaurants. This place is more casual than a normal restaurant. It seems there are more takeaway customers than eat in customers when we were there. It was Saturday 7:20 in the evening when we walked in and was surprised they were closing at 8. We only had a time to have a Pho each (beef and prawn respectively) and again were surprised by the quality of them. We enjoyed them so much I even bought the Suriracha sause. Having eaten the signature bahn mi earlier in the week, i thought to return today, but for something lighter. We each had the summer rolls - one with pork and the other with prawn. Very disappointing: so much vermicelli overpowered the other flavours and the most minute quantities of pork and prawn. In each half of mine, a single prawn was cut in half to make it seem more and I doubt there was more than 5g of pork in my partner's portion. For 4.95, each this is terribly overpriced. And off the list with this restaurant!

This place was recommended to me but a work colleague and I can't get enough of it. Healthy food and caters for all. Their baguettes are freshly made and the pricing is reasonable e.g. Baguette is £4.95, vermicelli bowl £6.95...I also have had one of their Vermicelli bowls which was light and very simple in taste but it was perfect for lunch. For those who watch what they eat and love food that's good for you...this place will not fail to please. I highly recommend this place, the staff are polite and the food is good. I love pho. But this place is pretty stingy- we ordered two bowls of pho and they brought out one tiny saucer of beansprouts etc to share between the two of us. There was barely enough on there for one! I had even asked them for extra beansprouts but they had obviously ignored it. So I went up to the counter and asked if we could have one more saucer of bean sprouts- the lady looked offended and frowned before getting another one- it was clear she did not approve of my asking as the saucer had barely 3 leaves of basil, a couple of beansprouts and no chillies or limes. Given how little these ingredients cost I thought her gesture was rude and stingy! If she wanted me to pay for a bigger portion of garnishes I definately would have done so. But the frowning and the rude gesture? Unecessary. I've had the same kind of rubbish service from them before, so I shall not be returning. Food is nice, just be sure not to ask for anything extra or make changes- they will make you feel ridiculous.

A friendly sit-down Vietnamese noodle place. The food was fresh and tasty, and arrived quickly. Not a big place, but there are plenty of tables and it doesn't feel cramped - standard height tables/chairs at the back if the low furniture at the front doesn't appeal. I went when it first opened and thought if fine but not quite punchy enough for me. Returned today and I think the Pho is much improved. Rich without being over salty, fresh and tangy with good but not suffocating amount of light noodles. Very speedy service but once food arrives no one hurries you along. Do give it a go. This is local enterprise that deserves support. Don't be put off by fact may look deserted. The main seating area is at the back - possibly a tactical error by the owners.
