Very nice food and very nice coffee well worth a try

Can't beat this place for fresh delicious food. Today's warm salad with figs and a spicy dressing was absolutely sublime. The ethos of the place always makes everything taste that much more special. Dog friendly and a very short walk from the canal makes this a must for all boaters cruising through - don't miss it!

First visit to this fabulous place in 2025, and in fact, their first day open! Very friendly staff, excellent speedy service, and delicious food. Always the best in town!!

This is one of the places that has a soul. The coffee and cookies are good, but that's not what makes the place special. It's the refurbished cinema seats, plants that someone cares for, a pinch of artistic chaos around and a friendly neighbourhood atmosphere that the staff makes.

So good I ate here twice in one day. I loved it!

I first bought some teas in Borough Market. I was impressed by the quality and flavours and advice. I bought more tea online and was kindly send, with my order, a free sample based on my order tastes, and it was a tea I was considering so they got that right! A nice note was sent with my order. I will be ordering again as I believe the quality is good, and the website explains the benefits of the teas. As side I thought I’d try the whiskey tea as I don’t drink much alcohol and this is a healthy alternative. It’s amazing! Maybe a little expensive and there’s postage but a lovely knowledgeable, ethical company.

These guys are brilliant at what they do. I've had a juice or two here before but decided to stop by for a salad bowl today. So much choice and all so delicious. And the staff are stars - so kind and infectiously cheerful!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the ladies that run the playgroup there. We were staying with my parents in Gresham while my husband worked overseas for 8 months. It was quite the lifesaver with my toddler who always had a great time. Adults speak to one another and just a lovely vibe. I meant to try and make one last session before we left, but we did donate some toys to the consignment store, also a gold mine. My son still plays with the monster truck we found in there. We are already back to American playgroups, which don’t compare!! Karen

Good quality, good value and freshly prepared Indian snacks. They have high volume turnover of items so most of the time you will be getting items that have been prepared on the same day.

Great little restaurant/cafe. Been visiting here for decades now and it’s a vegan and vegetarian staple. Great food, friendly staff and a really tasty but wholesome menu. Very reasonably priced. The hummus and garlic bread is a must and the nut burger is delicious. If you’ve got room for dessert, they do an awesome brownie. Or if you have loads of room for dessert, indulge in the heaven in Devon sundae.
