Go-to place for sweets and snacks. Never seen this place without a queue which I look at as a positive because it only shows why so many of us queue up! Clean counter and staff are always friendly even with the amount of footfall they see.

The absolute best. They cater for any functions such as weddings, party’s and intimate settings at home. Their food is delicious and the indian sweets are divine. Perfect for any indian celebrations like Diwali. Owners of Aarti are lovely and always cater to all needs.

We had a small family function and Aarti sweet came highly recommended to us for their catering services. We are based in London and had never tried their food, however we confirmed the order based on the word of mouth. Boy oh boy! We were pleasantly surprised by the taste, quality and quantity!! Without a doubt, we are now fans and will highly recommend to anyone and everyone!! Thank you so much to the entire team! 🙏

The food is good but the service is an issue, no control as when we went they were really busy and people were pushing in etc and the ladies behind the counter were too afraid to say anything until I jumped in and nearly started a riot. Just not professional and doesn't make sense.

Great for tasty foods and snacks. Typically poor desi service. Long queues with potentially around 30min time to service (sometimes even longer with queues stretching outside the shop).

We ordered food for lunch for around 50 people from Aarti. Gogan uncle has been amazing as ever. Food was wonderful and tasty, puri, potato and sweetorn curry, daal, rice, bhajia and farfar. Would highly recommend the food!

I would have given really positive feedback, but just look at the hair in their food... To the manager/owner of the shop, dress your staff correctly tly and PLEASE follow hygiene guidelines. Leicester City Council, please reassess their food hygiene score, as they are clearly not a 5 out of 5.

A tiny little sweet shop where all the service was done by women. They all were very swift, sweet and attentive. This shop serves sweets like Kaju Katli, different types of Peda, Gulab Jamun, Kala Jamun, Adadiya Pak, Mysore Pak, Jalebi, Anjeer and dry fruit Barfi, Motichoor Laddoo, Boondi and many more. They even sell fresh Chapatis and Bajra flour. In the Savory section they have Fafda, Papdi, varieties of namkeen and chivda, masala seengh, chana, khaman, patra, Vada, samosa, bhajiya, shrikhand and lassi. We got the peda, kaju katli and both were awesome. Also got the dal kachori and mutter kachori and they were absolutely delicious and very affordable. Must visit here.

The Samos are great On every single occasion l have visited this shop l have had to wait for them to cook the samosas It is a total mystery why on earth they do not prepare more samosas in advance It is annoying for the customer and a waste of energy for the shop to be reheating oil Hardly a good business model

Aarti is a Gujarati Sweet centre in Leicester. It is a popular place for take away snacks. I ordered a number of items like Kachoris, Dhokri-Khaman Dhokla & Samosas. The snacks are meant to have a hot, sour and slightly sweet taste. But, the kachoris were overly sweet and not nice. The samosas were more like Punjabi style & tasted okay but nothing special. The dhokris were okay too. Aarti’s food would be nice if they didn’t use so much sugar in savoury dishes.

We've been getting our farsan, like papdi, ganthiya, sev, fafda, and jalebi, from Aarti Sweet Centre for years now. The taste is just like in India—always fresh and delicious. To avoid long queues, especially on weekends, it's best to place your order early.

Fresh food with very good quality.

I was very disappointed when I rang numerous times a few days ago and no one would pick up the phone; I wanted to order a take-away; I then visited the place and whilst standing in the queue, other customers who came in had the same complaint! What was MOST ANNOYING and I feel UNPROFESSIONAL, and staff is to slow and also un respecting.

After queuing for ages it was difficult to see the sweets in the front counter because other customers were standing there. It was very warm and uncomfortable in the store. Aarti is breaking the law by not displaying prices on the food. The sweets I bought were very greasy . First time I bought sweets , definitely won't be buying them again. Only fafras were tasty . The green chutney had gone off by the time I reached home. Not worth waiting for fafras only.

We have now ordered through Aartis a couple of times to cater for parties at home and each time the food has been delicious and above and beyond our expectations, leaving all of our guests complimenting the food and wanting more! Communication and service has always been 10/10 Aartis are always able to adhere to all our needs whether we just need some quick tasty starters such as chilli paneer (highly recommend) and spring rolls, or a full classic Indian thali meal! We would never go to anyone else! Highly recommend for anyone looking for caterers for events big or small.

We were excited to try this place based on recommendations from family and friends, but we were thoroughly disappointed. After spending over £50, the quality of the food was subpar, and two of our items were incorrect. When we called to address our concerns, the customer service was unhelpful and offered no explanation for the poor quality. Unfortunately, we will not be ordering from here again.

We ordered for a family religious event (of approx 250 people) and the service provided by Aarti Catering and Hardasbhai was brilliant! We felt we were in safe hands. We ordered for lunch and dinner on the same day and both times the food was fresh, delivered on time and very much enjoyed by everyone there. Highly recommended!

Visiting this sweet center for the first time was quite a disappointment. The long queue snaked out of the small packed shop. Inside, poor ventilation made the warm day stifling and the unwelcoming staff only added to the discomfort. Even the aroma of sweets couldn't make up for the unpleasant experience.

Best place to get Indian sweets and savoury. I travel 50 miles to get the stuff from only Aarti Sweets. The quality is unmatched and the prices are very economical too. The staff is super efficient and very friendly. Love this place. I have added to shop in my favourites list on Google.

Aarti Sweet Centre food provided catering for our wedding which was incredible, with every guest complimenting the quality and taste of the food. No guest will go hungry i can promise you that! Honestly can not recommend this company enough.

We had the most scrumptious Dhokra, Shakarpara, Papdi Gathia, Jini Sev, Matar Kachori with Ambli and Lily Chutneys very recently! We travel now and again from East Anglia to fully enjoy the Aarti Sweet Centre experience. The staff are such a delight to order from and have a very meticulous unity in their work. We always leave Aarti Sweet Centre, Melton Road, with a big smile and this is way before we have eaten the treats! We will be back on our next craving 😋

Very popular and very busy.. expect queuing outside the shop at peak periods, bit worth the wait for the Indian savoury snacks.

We come here often for patta gathia and the gujrati thali. We love it and are never disappointed!

I bought methi-pack last weekend it is very tasty, just like homemade we had paperi ghthia, khanan dhokala, sev mamra, all very tasty.

Everything is good but they are always busy and have to wait for hours and hours but sometimes have to wait for something good.

Sorry to say vey disappoints with Arti Sweet Centre, we ended up queuing for over 45 min just to get £15 pounds worth of sweets, the service was appealing, the atmosphere very bad. After buying the sweets, the next day the sweets lost their taste.was it worth the hassel we went through to purchase the sweets NO! Dont waste your time here it is not worth the money one spends in the shop. Very Disappointed.

Food is amazing and top quality. However you will age at least 10 years waiting to be served. Would be 5 stars if not for tiredly long wait times and slow staff.

The food was excellent and we had so many compliments on how good the food was. As we all know one of the most important aspects to a great wedding is the food and we achieved that with Aarti. Lovely place to order proper genuine authentic Gujarati sweets. Shame they don’t answer the phone! Everytime you order from their website they mess up. You have to ring to tell the, you placed order, if they even answer phone!

Ordered food for my wife's 40th. Gogan Bhai was very attentive and helpful right from the start. We got the food tasted earlier and on delivery it was of the same quality. All our guests just loved the taste of each item on the menu. Would like to thank Mr Gogan for his awesome service and the chefs for their hardwork. Items: K Paneer, Veg Kofta curry, Baingan bharta. What troubled me the most was the lack of evidence or attempt to resolve the matter privately. It seemed like a baseless accusation made solely to embarrass me, I had never encountered such unprofessional conduct before. Never visiting this shop again

Unassuming little place on Melton Road (recommended). I ordered Farsi Puri, Mix Bhajias, Dhokra, Jalebis, Dry mung and Channa Dhal - the last two appeared to be roasted rather than fried as they weren't oily at all! All of the above were a hit....I can see why ppl from other parts of the country and Ireland (!!) would order from here to be delivered to them......

The Indian sweets and savoury snacks are nice, the jelebi is the best from here, in my opinion. Always a queue at this shop and I suppose that says alot about their quality.

One of the best Farsan shops Leicester! Me and my husband particularly enjoy the fresh pata gathi with chillis and sambara. It's unfortunate that the wait times are long (even when you order ahead) and it feels somewhat chaotic inside when trying to collect + pay 😅
