My partner and I came here for a pre-show meal on Valentine’s Day. I’m so glad that we did as we were given a warm welcome, great service and the food was delicious. It’s a lovely atmosphere and in a great location. I had the vegetarian moussaka and chocolate mousse and we had some vine leaves to share as a starter. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Will definitely be back.

Love restaurant with great staff and great food. A party of 6 had a birthday celebration and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there.

First time we have visited, and we will be back. The free salad, bread and dips were delicious, as was our main course choices. Very good quality and large portions. Great service. 5 stars.

Auf unserem England Trip war es bislang nicht einfach gesundes vegetarisches Essen zu bezahlbaren Preisen zu finden. Hier wurden wir positiv überrascht: 1. Wir bekamen einen Tisch, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten und das Restaurant voll war 2. Die vegetarische Auswahl umfasste 4 oder 5 verschiedene Hauptspeisen. Wir bestellten ein Vegetarisches Güvec für 15,95 GBP und einen Falafel Teller für 14,95 GBP, dazu Oliven (6,95) und Naanbrot (2,95). Ich hatte das Güvec und war positiv überrascht: Es wurde wirklich viel Gemüse verwendet, die Knoblauch-Tomatensauce war abgerundet und dazu gab es türkischen Reis und alles wurde frisch zubereitet. Mein Freund hatte einen Falafel Teller mit Falafel-Bällchen auf Hummus und viele knusprige Ofenkartoffeln. Obwohl wir schon von den Hauptgerichten sehr voll waren, konnten wir die Finger nicht von den Oliven und dem Naan-Brot lassen, alles wurde gegessen🍽️ Dazu war das Personal auch noch superfreundlich, gut gelaunt und das Essen wurde trotz der anderen Gäste relativ zügig gebracht. Vielen Dank für diese gute Mahlzeit und ein schönes Erlebnis🫶

This was a buffet style place with a very limited range. You could keep returning to the buffet but we really didn't want to because the food was decidedly average. Decor is... odd and the staff were lovely.

Great food, authentic taste and excellent service. We bought a platter for 2 and we got a good amount of food for us and we had to take the leftovers home because it was so good!

Looking for a quick and tasty meal before a concert at the Apollo theatre, around the corner, we found Salt and Plum. With a warm and friendly greeting, we were presented with complimentary fresh, hot pide bread served with whipped feta as we looked at the menu. The menu is excellent with select mezze, starters and mains and a range of pide and lahmacun, catering well for both vegetarians and meat eaters. We had humus, Aegean roasted vegetables, fasulye with rice and the Topaki Chicken. All were excellent and seemed authentic. The service was discreet but attentive and charming, the ambience relaxed and the open kitchen allowed us to compliment the chef in person. A great start to an excellent evening. We shall be back!

Went here for a birthday meal. Food was brilliant. Service was excellent. We got variety of food everything was spot on. You need to try this place. And make sure at the end of food you try their cheesecake and turkish tea!

Super friendly staff and great quality food. Overall a great experience. Have tried other similar restaurants in the area and the friendliness of staff really makes the difference. Will definitely go back again!

Solía vivir cerca y fue el primer restaurante turco al que fui para llevar en la zona y desde entonces me he enganchado. Soy muy fan de las alitas de pollo, especialmente las barbacoas (o ahora conocidas como chargrilled), así que cuando descubrí que este restaurante las hace cuando caminé un día camino a KFC decidí probar esto en su lugar para una opción más “saludable”. Como con cualquier otro restaurante turco venden cordero a la parrilla, pollo, pescado y kebabs picados, y también guisos diarios. Nunca probé otra cosa ya que mi favorita son las alitas de pollo. Ya sea para llevar o sentarse, sirven sus comidas con un poco de pan y ensalada como acompañamiento y el principal con una mezcla de arroz bulgar rojo / blanco con mis alas. Me mudé de la zona por un tiempo y este día he estado en la zona y decidí visitar de nuevo. Las alitas de pollo con el pan, la ensalada y el arroz permanecen exactamente como las recordé. Parrillada a la perfección y llena de favor.

We went for dinner at Olive Tree and the food was amazing. We were served by a lovely lady called Derya, she checked in on us and was so polite and friendly - such great service! Really nice atmosphere.
