A great place to eat locally. Delicious & very fairly priced food. Check out he veggie beyti. Friendly staff too! The decor is a little modest but who cares - so are the prices! A real asset to Camden Road.

I visited here yesterday whilst stopping in Tunbridge Wells. I booked online which was easy enough. The restaurant itself is a bit out of the main town but easy enough to locate. The food was outstanding. I went for the mixed kebab which consisted of kofta kebab along with lamb and chicken shish. All cooked superbly well and oozing with flavour. With a large bottle of Efes the bill was around £24 which was great value. The young lady who served me throughout was lovely and friendly. Give this place a try.

Hattusa is the best Turkish restaurant in Kent. We have been there 4-5 times in the past 6 months. In its menu Adana is super recommended.

Went yesterday 8th March for birthday dinner, have been previously and had wonderful calamari’s to start followed by the best ever lamb chops. Price was reasonable and the service was top class. Looking forward to our next treat. Roger, Pembury

We had a really lovely meal last weekend at first I was disappointed there were no festive decorations in the restaurant and it felt very unseasonal that said the food was great. I would certainly return but feel they could have made more of an effort.

Have been coming here for the last 4/5 years, usually as a couple, but sometimes with friends or family. The food is always excellent, service outstanding ( Rikki?) the restaurant is not large, but you don't feel cramped together, not like other eating establishments in the town. My partner has the Moussaka, which she considers the best ever. I have the mixed shish (chicken and lamb) which is cooked to perfection, every time. Would also recommend the house white wine, which is very reasonably priced. The prices for this gem of a place are very acceptable, and everyone who arrives here, are welcomed and treated with courtesy and are made to feel special.

Been coming to Hatussa in TW for many years now and it's consistently excellent. We usually have the cold meze followed by the mixed grill. Soooo much food and cooked to perfection. The meze is always fresh and full of flavour and the mixed grill has a great selection with the Lamb chops and lamb shish being the stars of the show. A bottle of Turkish wine and a few Efes put the icing on a great meal. It's is a little bright and there's lots of takeaway activity but this doesn't detract from the superb food and excellent service. We live in Turkey for the majority of the year so are used to great food and this is up there with the best. Definitely the best Turkish in Tunbridge Wells in our opinion.

We weren’t sure about this place, looking in through the window. No menu outside, but we like Turkish food. But it was excellent. Nice ambience, great food and very reasonable prices, we thought. Friendly, good choice including veg options.

Great experience! If I was local this would be a regular spot. Portion sizes were huge but the meat was really well flavoured, especially the Adana and the Sujuk which were highlights. My only criticism would be that the chilli sauce isn’t hot enough and was more on the sweet side. But would 100% recommend!

The food is fantastic. I want to take my partner for a meal. I didn't know which restaurant to go. so I randomly pick this restaurant, And let me tell you something this is worth the journey. We travelled from blue water, And the food is amazing well cooked highly recommended. This is definitely added to my favorite list. 😊

Nice decor, average food. We had the chicken kebab and chicken in yoghurt. Both were pretty average. The Turkish lemonade was bottled and too sweet.

A 'must visit' if you are visiting or eating out in Tunbridge Wells. The food was exactly what it said on the menu but exceeded expectations in taste, flavour and aroma. Will be back.

I have dined in and also ordered takeaway and the food had been absolutely stunning! The portion size are generous whether you dine in or order takeaway. The restaurant is very cosy with lovely decorations make you feel like you are in a little mediterranean restaurant. The vibe is so good and the same about the service. The takeaway food was packed very neatly and the food was just as delicious if you want to enjoy it in your own home.

Softer lighting with table candles would create a much more welcoming, intimate evening atmosphere. We'll definitely be back when this is sorted!

I love coming to this restaurant when I’m in town on business, always have lunch, however this will be last time. After lunch I buy their baklava to-take out for family, but to put 10% service charge on take out is poor form especially on £18.00 of baklava.

Went on spec having searched for a Lebanese restaurant to eat at before a show. Had very good reviews so thought it worth a shot. OMG. A meat lover's dream. Had the sharing hot mixed meal i.e. hot meze and mixed grill platter plus huge salad, bread, bulgur wheat and rice. Everything was perfect. Cooked to perfection. If I had a complaint it would only be there was too much food and because we were going on to a show we couldn't take a doggy bag. Could comfortably have fed 4. £68 including service and a decent bottle of red. It's not smart and you get deliveroo drivers in and out pretty regularly but it's well worth it and we'll definitely be back.

This is one of our favourites, It's all good but if I had to pick one dish I'd say the Lamb Shish and maybe the squid rings oh! and the Acili Humus and not forgetting the Findik INDIK Lachmacun... yes I know I said one, but its all good.

Brilliiant. I have been to the sevenoaks one a few times but live in TW so decided to go there. Hubby and I went for the sharing plates for starter and main. We had to take home a doggy bag and got 3 more meals out of it! It was amazing. Succulent, the Bulgar i cant get enough of. The hot Mezze starters are so yummy my mouth is watering just talking about t!

This is our favourite Turkish restaurant in TW. We had lunch again today, and as usual were very impressed with the lovely food, and excellent service. Would highly recommend, and we will returning soon.

INSANELY GOOD. The Lamb Shish Yogurtlu is life changing. Amazing service, GORGEOUS food. We take all our friends and family to Hattusa and they go wild for it. Can't recommend it enough.

Take away is as good as you get in the restaurant. We had Shish both chicken and lamb. We did try for the first time though a courgette fritter started with mint cucumber and yoghurt. The fritter was gluttonous and greasy and tasted awful. We loved the salads and the vulgar wheat and rice. Next time we will order some humour to go with the flatbreads. Without something like humous the meal is a bit dry. The white creamy sauce and the spicey sauces were a hit as well. We will definitely keep ordering and buying from there as it’s great value the service in in the restaurant is great and tasty food ok. The lamb chops are apparently amazing every time.

The calamari was so tender I cried a bit. These people have improved my quality of life.... let them heal you too

Lovely first experience of this restaurant. Attended for a Birthday Celebration for my Daughter, with her partner and my grandson and granddaughter.Made to feel very welcome. Food, drink and great service added to a most enjoyable meal. Very authentic experience. Thankyou will come again with friends.

If we'd only come to eat the pitta bread it would get 5 stars but it spoke volumes about the quality of the rest of the menu. Freshly prepared and baked on charcoal when it would be easier to heat prepared bread gave it a delightfully soft feel and subtly smoked flavour. The keebabs were tender and perfectly cooked and the accompanying side dishes and salad matched the quality of the bread and meat. This was an unexpectedly good experience in a world of chain restaurants and franchises obsessed with replication and profit. It's clear to see why their take it business was thriving.

Ok, I'm not going to lie, sometimes the staff here can be a bit unfriendly towards us delivery cyclists, and can get a little moody if we complain, but, the food is absolutely amazing. While most of my visits are work related, I've also had a few takeaways myself, and I cannot fault the authentic taste in some of the dishes. Can be a bit of a wait sometimes, when they get busy, but in my experience, it's always been worth it.

One of, if not, the nicest Turkish places I've been to. Food was very lovely and portions were really big. The open kitchen concept is great because you can see it all being made in front of you.

Great little Turkish restaurant with an excellent £9.85 2 course lunch menu. I was early and had to wait for my friend to turn up and so they have me a complimentary bowl of olives to try whilst I waited. Love the lamb Adana with rice and bulgar rice. Very tasty and excellent service. Thanks!

Good turkish food and good sized portions too

We've been visiting regularly since first day it opened here. The kids love watching the food cooking on the grill behind the screen and grinning at the chefs. The little ones are always happy with shish with chips and there's a delicious variety for adults. So happy to see that Hattusa is still going well after the Covid lockdowns.

We have eaten three times here in the last three months and have always been really pleased with the freshness and quality of the food. Cold starters consistently fresh and zingy with obviously good quality ingredients. Grilled main courses of lamb and chicken always perfectly cooked. Service can be a little haphazard and it’s not super cheap, but overall value for money is great. Try the Yakut red house wine!

Best Turkish Place in Tunbridge Wells and probably Kent. Genuine traditional and not fussy. Food to die for. Cooked to perfection and very generous dishes. Best lamb I’ve ever had. Topped off by a really lovely red wine which was also Turkish. Once my tummy goes down I’ll be back Thanks all See you soon x

This was our first visit to this lovely restaurant. Four of us dined here, last Friday evening. We sat at a nice table in the window. The ambiance ,service, food and wine were excellent and was very reasonably priced. This is by far the best Turkish restaurant in Tunbridge Wells, and would highly recommend it, and look forward to returning soon.

First visit and it will not be the last! My son had tried the takeaway in Tonbridge so we treated him for his birthday and went to the t/Wells branch. The food was amazing and extremely good value for money. We booked even though it was a Monday didn't need too. They were busy for takeaway so if going on Friday for instance would definitely book. The restaurant isn't very big so will fill up quickly.

Why was this place not full of hungry diners? This place knocks the socks off all other Turkish (and most other) restaurants in TW… No kidding, I don’t understand!! Walking past Zorba which was a fair bit busy, and we’ve eaten there a few times, but you will not find a better choice of Grilled and oven baked deliciousness. We had a fantastic bottle of Turkish wine and a starter of Hot Meze, followed by what I can only describe as the most mouth watering Lamb Shank that fell off the bone and my hubbies Chicken Saltan, served with rice and veg. The chicken was sooo tender. All in all, this is a gem of a place. Great service, great staff and superb food. I’m stuffed… COME ON TW Get with the program, it’s not all about the plush fittings! It’s about the REAL food. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the great staff xx

My daughter and i were visiting RTW for the weekend and she found this restaurant online. The simple décor belies the outstanding quality of the food. you can see the chefs cook and they also do a very popular take away service. We shared a cold meze starter which we couldn't manage all of as it was so big. My daughter ordered Adana (spicy lamb sausage) i had Lamb shish both served with rice and with the most delightful herby salad. The price for 2 plus a bottle of wine was just £62 ! . Amazing value and a great evening out. Glad we discovered this place

Fantastic family birthday meal! Wonderful fresh food, really great friendly service too. We were 2 vegetarians and 2 meat eaters and we all thought the choice and quality of the food was great.

Basically .. one wonderful waitress who helped me and a friend. . The other one ( the head waitress ) was ridiculously rude. I politely let them know I was sad as my burger was nothing compared to the one I had before! And she just asked me why I ate it then.. ( I hadn’t eaten it all) she was so defensive .. I wasn’t even making a complaint. She asked how the food was. Got to the point where twice I had to say. Could we please just leave this as it’s ruining my experience .. and she kept quizzing me. Why wasn’t it good? Why did you eat it then?! . Now her attitude is the reason for the review. Yes the food wasn’t great. But the service was something ELSE :/ x

We went for lunch and ended up going the next day again. We really liked the food and particularly loved the chilly prawns starter and the lamb shish. The service was super friendly and Svetoslava made our time there special.

Second failed attempt to buy vegetarian Hattusa and they proved me again that they can't cook vegetarian food. Falafel was cold and uncooked in middle other item were similar. With this attempt search for good vegetarian food in the area continues. Hardly a credible option

Ordered loads of times. I had a wrong order delivered today - that happens- but I called the restaurant to find out what happened, and the woman didn't even let me finish talking. She was so rude- 'Its nothing to do with us" Ok- but learn some manners. Shame as the vegan options are ok- but I'll be off to Zorba.

One of the best restaurants here in Tunbridge Wells and located in the brilliantly bohemian vibes of the Camden Road area, the Turkish food and drink on offer is up there with the best and the authentic interior only adds to the lovely experience. Perfect for dinner dates.

Fantastic food and portions are huge. Best burger I have had and the Turkish kebabs are wonderful. Staff are so friendly and you can eat in (COVID permitting) or takeaway. Not to be missed.

Decent enough food in decent quantities, which after all is why you go to a restaurant. Prices not bad by local standards. A couple of reservations though - they do a LOT of lamb, a fair amount of chicken and some fish. This might be too limited for some - I didn't see any steak for instance. And I didn't feel enough of a sense of ambience to make me particularly enjoy it as a place. I got the feeling that the effort has gone into the food rather than the decor. I wouldn't call it a good date restaurant for example. A lot of people do seem to like it though... it was doing a fairly steady takeaway trade while I was there.
