The best restaurants serving Thai food in Scotland

My daughter and her boyfriend had a table booked for tonight (31.8.24) was a bit of a celebratory meal. Not the easiest location from Bellshill, so we paid for her taxi. She was told on arrival for her booking, that her table was running late. She was totally amenable, gave a contact number and went to a local pub. When she was eventually called to return for her meal, she was told they were running late due to a ‘big’ table and they could only offer her a cost reduction on another night. She was understandably upset by this, wandering about Hamilton with 2 bottles of wine in her bag because it’s BYO. When I called to raise my concern as a parent, I’d barely got to speak, when the girl taking my call told me to ‘Lose the attitude. Your daughter was seriously cheeky’ Plus a whole load of other totally inappropriate comments. Barely gave me a chance to speak at all. I was stunned! She then put the manager/owner on as requested. He ended up telling us how upset his member of staff was (she’d clearly recovered when talking to me!!!!) Then he asked us ‘What do you want me to do? I’m now running more late (because we were an inconvenience) and need to get back to cooking!’ Never known such a lack of customer service or common decency/respect in my life! Absolutely Disgusting!!!! What a way to run a business. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs if this is how they conduct themselves.

Stumbled upon this place with a friend. Fantastic little restaurant. My pad thai took me right back to Thailand, perfectly seasoned. My friend had cashew chicken and the flavours were mouthwatering. Even the service was authentically Thai (if you know you know) but it added to the experience. Going back tomorrow!

Wish this was parked nearer to where I live, as it is such a wonderful idea, food is Fantastic to get Thai food as a take way, wow.!!!!!!

Really disappointing experience. First time ordering food and it was cold and noodles were hard. Real shame as I think it would’ve been a tasty otherwise. Email was sent to raise issues as above and no one replied. Would not order from here again.

Visited here for lunch today with friends and we were all again very impressed. Friendly staff, excellent menu and good sized portions of lovely Thai food, what's not to love ! We all ordered different and we were not disappointed. Highly recommended and we look forward to visiting again soon. Just wish we lived nearer !

delicious food, the papaya salad was nice and spicy, chicken basil stir-fry had lots of deep flavours, town dumplings were morish. hpwe will definitely order again.

Beautiful food, fresh and tasty. I love duck and rice and go back there for this dish very often. The only downside is that you need to pay by cash only, and the restaurant is really small so good to book the table in advance. Otherwise, really really tasty!

Fabulously welcoming family-run restaurant and so obliging: l was nervous about trying Thai food as l have a nut allergy, and the staff prepared an absolutely delicious nut-free dish for me which really gave me confidence in dining here. SO so friendly, great atmosphere and delicious food.

Definitely the best Thai I’ve tried in Glasgow!We had the dumplings and summer rolls for starters which were really great and I had the crispy chili tofu for main which was delicious! My parents had the drunken noodles and a duck dish which they both really enjoyed. Be prepared that the dishes described as spicy really are extremely spicy! The staff were so attentive and lovely, and quickly boxed up our food for us when we had to leave as we lost track of time. Drinks were great too and the ambience was really nice. Will definitely be back soon!
