Thai Pop Up in Fife

Stumbled upon this place with a friend. Fantastic little restaurant. My pad thai took me right back to Thailand, perfectly seasoned. My friend had cashew chicken and the flavours were mouthwatering. Even the service was authentically Thai (if you know you know) but it added to the experience. Going back tomorrow!

This was a return visit been 4 times before food always excellent, service great have to wait about 15 minutes for food to be cooked . Worth the wait

Not sure why this place isn't rated higher. As someone who been to Thailand many times, I found the food here to be very authentic, fresh and delicious and good portions. Best of all the staff were hard=working and efficient and always made eye contact when circulating. It was big enough, so we got in without a reservation. Each table has a number assigned, so you just go to the counter on the way out and pay the bill for your table, no waiting for a check.

First visit here this year this is the best Thai restaurant I have been in for a long long time. Food all freshly cooked around a 20-25 minute wait but well worth the wait.

Had a wonderful lunch here on Sunday. The food was delicious and served super quick. Our server was so efficient! The menu is extensive - so much choice it was hard to pick, but easy to say we will be back soon to try more. We shared the sunshine pork, edamame beans and gyoza to begin, followed by a Thai green curry, pad Thai and sticky rice to follow. We should have ordered another portion of rice but only out of greed! Can’t wait to come back soon. Thanks!

We’ve just gotten a takeaway from Thai Pop Up while here for a weekend trip and we’re so impressed! The food was fresh, extremely flavoursome and piping hot. We loved the gyozas, prawn toast, cashew chicken and red curry! Staff were great with our nut allergy. Only issue was some confusion with the name of the place - Tanon Thai looked closed ans then we realised it was Thai pop up and open and busy. Glad we figured it out as it was Delish!

Busy casual restaurant with lovely staff. I felt the starters were expensive for what you got. Very small vegetable rolls and goyzo dumplings. However the main courses were really reasonable approx £12 inc rice and of high quality Would happily recommend and revisit

Authentic, freshly cooked best Thai food we’ve had outside Thailand. Great tastes, service and good value too. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone with a yearning for a Thai experience in St Andrews.

Great authentic thai food. as close as you can get to thai food. Service a bit slow but food is worth it if you want authentic. Reminded me of bankgok food. :D

Fabulous authentic Thai food. My mixed veg stir-fry with prawns was amazing ! Huge prawns and loads of them.! Hubby had coconut curry, delicious. Chicken satay starter gorgeous. Very good value. Service excellent. Friendly, efficient. Very quick even tho busy. Fun interior, good ambience . Def be back next year! Lucky St Andrews having this lovely Thai restaurant.
