The Thai Chef in Aberdeenshire

Wish this was parked nearer to where I live, as it is such a wonderful idea, food is Fantastic to get Thai food as a take way, wow.!!!!!!

The already great menu has just got better! The lovely Thai lady has added a number of additional delights including chicken penang on a Wednesday. My personal favorite, the chicken in cashew nuts is of course still featured throughout the week and I'm sure to have that at least twice to get me through the westhill working week. Still great

Food is hard to be for a mobile van! Menu is different every day, staff are really friendly and would highly recommend

Love this place for excellent take away food and very friendly staff. They have a good range of favourite thai dishes like green curry, beef massaman, as well as various starters and soft drinks. The location is perfect for all the offices located on Prospect road. The van is open during lunch hours hours only, so make sure you go between 11.30 and 1.30. Ask for their loyalty card! You can treat yourself to a free starter and main if you collect enough stamps

This small caterer is situated in an ideal location for Westhill and the Westhill business parks. It serves takeaway lunches at a reasonable price and is usually open every weekday lunchtime. The food is authentic Thai, with a selection of three mains to choose from each day. The sides comprise rice, egg-fried rice or noodles and there is a selection of starters available too. They eagerly listened to customer feedback and introduced a loyalty card scheme following a suggestion from the customers, and they have since enhanced their soft drink selection too. The only negative is that it can be difficult to comprehend the opening times around national holidays, although they do provide a phone number on the menu. In short, this establishment is perfect for a hot lunch, and will even cater for large groups or meetings if primed in advance (although I haven't personally had this opportunity). Plus you have the perfect excuse to grab a breath of fresh air at lunchtime!

I use the Thai Chef every day for lunch and love it. Best thai in westhill! Recommend you get in at midday to be sure of your pick of the best daily thai cuisine. I recommend the chichen red curry with egg fried rice!
