Amazing food! Been many times and always really tasty food. Check on facebook for the menu as it changes and you can book om there so its an easy job collecting it.

This Thai takeaway at Kildonan beach is a great addition to the Arran food scene, but the catering hut is only open on Saturdays from 4-7 pm.

Our group of 8 when staying in Kildonan were highly impressed with our takeout meal from Simply Thai. We ordered most of the dishes on the menu and not one disappointed. Fresh, fragrant and well balanced flavours made with excellent quality ingredients and at a very reasonable cost by Noot who clearly knows what she is doing. 100% recommended and we will undoubtedly dine from here again. I had the chicken satay and although I'm not a lover of very hot food I chanced the prawn red curry. Both dishes were delicious - as advertised the sauce for the red curry was perfectly balanced with the heat. Very very good.

Excellent Thai takeaway. Delicious and amazingly crispy spring rolls and then we had a beef and a vegetable curry, both coming with Thai Jasmine rice and a small cucumber salad. Order in advance on Facebook or on the website and you get a swift reply. Currently open 4-7pm Friday and Saturday. Easy to find next to Kildonan Village Hall. If you are not staying nearby eat on the beach with a lovely view of Pladda, Alisa Craig and seals!

Second visit to this wonderful street food style takeaway. Food is amazing, freshly cooked light and full of flavour, utterly delicious and by far the best Thai food we have ever eaten! the chef Noot is Thai so all dishes are authentic from different regions and change each week, check out their facebook page for further details. You will not be disappointed.

We came across Arran Simply Thai by chance as we were visiting the beach nearby- how lucky we were :-). We had the chicken curry and the vegetable curry, both of which were amazingly delicious- such depth of flavour! I had dietary requirements that they were able to answer questions about and I had a choice of options which was great. The owners were very friendly too. We will certainly be back next time we visit Arran.

Fantastic food, lovely people, great setting. We had everything from the menu apart from the pork, doubled up on the wings. We travelled from Lamlash and it was worth it, will be going again next time we are on Arran.

We had an amazing takeout from Arran Simply Thai yesterday. The dumplings, satay and spring rolls were really tasty and fresh. The beef curry was sooo good and my veggie daughter said the veg curry was the best she’d ever had. Really wish we didn’t live 350miles away, as this would definitely be a regular place to get food! Ordered on Facebook, service was great and the people were very friendly. East to find behind Kildonan Hall. Try it you will definitely not be disappointed xx

Great food truck concept with delicious homemade food. Can’t find better and what a treat. The vegetable spring rolls were a winner and the pork curry was the most tender I’ve had in a long time. Would definitely recommend them!

Lovely quality food served by friendly sociable owners. You know food is good when locals are traveling out of their way to order and collect it. Would definitely recommend ordering early as they do get fully booked. It is easy to find "behind Kildonan village hall" as they state on their website page. Limited menu driven by operating from used to be (and could be again I assume) a mobile catering unit, but delicious and worth the wait.

This is a needle in a haystack!! This restaurant is shown as on a single track road beside a gold panning burn. To best of my knowledge the only building there is a canopy shelter. You could never find such a place as it's all hillside and country. I think this is a false advertising of a eating place.
