The best restaurants serving Thai food in Glasgow and Surrounding

The pad Thai was super tasty - the chips were a bit soggy. Would definitely go back for the pad Thai. Also it's halal and they don't serve pork so no cross contamination

I never write reviews but me and my husband booked at this little restaurant just over a week ago and all I can say is the food is damn delicious ,so delicious I have been back another 2 times since that. The staff are also so lovely and there to help if needed, music and vibe very chilled.This restaurant is small,only seats 5, so i would advise to book. I have walked past this little restaurant many times, and never knew of the delights inside, this is a must try!!!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Glasgow. Not only are the food and drinks to die for, but the staff is exceptional. I was in for my birthday with a relatively large group of friends. Upon entrance, I was immediately wished a happy birthday. We were promptly served, and everyone adored what they had. I was even given a special birthday treat, and the staff sang to me. I am literally never disappointed by a single thing when I come here.

For my penultimate meal in 2022 my friend and I decided to try this charming place in the west end . Overall it was a great experience. The inside had a lovely decor with a great atmosphere . The staff were very friendly and attentive . The food was really good . We went for sharing plates which consisted of salt and chilli chicken wings , onion rings , vegetable gyoza , chilli chicken bao buns and pork burnt ends loaded fries . Each portion was very tasty and bursting with flavour. My favourite plates were the salt and chilli boneless chicken and the bao buns . The total bill including drinks came to £44 which is really good. If you are looking for Asian fusion cuisine in the west end then definitely check this place out .

Little pricier but best pad thai I’ve ever had (don’t have a ton of experience with Thai food tho)

Third trip in 2 years to this spot. Forest excellent, second deteriorated, third this week 10/10. Keep in mind my wife is born and bred in Bangkok, And a great thao cook. Difference in three visits was second time chefs were clearly not Thai, even to my eye and palate. Obviously rectified,Pad Kra Pao with rice & Pad See Ew real street food quality. Staff passed on to chefs they were serving a Thai so hotter than normal and great. Icing on cake was waitress, who was a Brit, started speaking Thai to my wife, that got my total respect. Obviously middle visit was a blip, now Thai cooks in charge up to high standard and Thai speaking serving staff...above and beyond.... And still very well priced.

We booked the 9.45pm - 11.45pm reservation slot. Thinking this would give us plenty of time to enjoy a relaxed anniversary dinner - how wrong were we! We received a telephone call at 9.46pm asking where we were. They then proceeded to tell us that they could no longer accommodate our reservation as the kitchen closes at 9.45pm. We were outside the restaurant at this point. After a few words back and fourth, they honoured the booking. Once inside and order placed, they told us our starters and mains would be served at the same time to allow the kitchen to close. Why advertise a 2hr table slot if you are not willing to accommodate!? We were made to feel like an inconvenience. Made to feel like we were holding the staff back. It was very uncomfortable. My husband and I rushed our food so quickly, I felt sick. I was so disappointed with the attitude of the staff, particularly the one who called us. Thank you for ruining our 10th wedding anniversary meal Chaophraya!

Food is generally great to middling depending on which staff are cooking. Also depending on portion size who is at counter serving. Majority it is always above average an a huge menu to choose from. Service is brilliant and all staff are friendly. Always clean and has recently been refurbished and modernised. Lads are doing a great job "just sort yer portions out " Cheers "well fired naan guy "

I wanted to love it here, but almost every dish was sickly-sweet and close to identical in flavour despite having ordered a variety of dishes with various meats.

Can't recommend tiki bar enough. Food and drink was excellent. Prices very reasonable. Above all else the service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who all had a smile on their face and were very helpful and polite. Will definitely be returning ASAP.

Food fresh and so much flavour. Zac looked after us and couldn’t do enough for us, one minor issue which he solved. Can’t wait to return.
