Dreadful. Overcooked meat (chicken and pork) and very dry rice. Sauce with a little honey was incredibly sweet. Meat in top of salad so wilting. Everything seems pre cooked and heated up in a wok. Not nice at all. Amazed by the positive reviews. Very uncomfortable canteen style restaurant and overpriced for what it is.

Wow the food is excellent here. A very Casual style place but freshly cooked food. A couple of vegetarian curries to choose from but the yellow vegetarian curry was delicious. It would be great going forward if the green Thai curry or red Thai curry were suitable for vegetarians, I would defo visit more often and recommended this place to my veggie and vegan friends if this was the case. Fingers crossed!

I recently dined at Ting Thai, and it was an unforgettable experience! This might just be the best Thai food I've ever had. The flavors were absolutely out of this world—every dish was bursting with authentic taste and perfectly balanced spices. The service was equally impressive. One of the ladies, whose name I sadly can't recall, provided exceptional service. When a drink accidentally spilled on my end, she immediately replaced it without hesitation. Her attentiveness and professionalism really stood out and made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, Ting Thai offers a fantastic dining experience with incredible food and top-notch service. I can't recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning for more! Recommendations : 1. Yak Sam Krob 2. Garlic noodles 3. Pad Ka Phrao 4. Goong Frong Beer

Quirky but nice kitchen factory restaurant layout. Food incredibly tasty and genuine - told the staff as good as found in Singapore!! True. Amazing Thai cuisine nouveau - any time in Glasgow it deserves a re-visit. Service very smooth and helpful. Altogther a great experience - from seasoned travellers from SE Asia who say it beats most we have seen all over Europe and the UK. Recommend x "n"

Sadly our first trip into Ting Thai wasnt very good. We were served and sat fast at the bench seats at the window. These are odd, an odd height stool with no where to put your feet or belongings, and we were just looking at Gaucho across the way, not quite a Thai vista 🤣 We ordered a beer each, which was incredibly gassy, and we each had a main. One with "slow cooked pork loin" with rice and the other with chicken and noodles. The food came cutely presented / packaged and approx 3 minutes after we ordered, which is suspiciously fast. Sadly, the meat in both dishes was super dry and overall the food was underwhelming. We wouldn't recommend, maybe later in the evening where you're not served the lunch leftovers.

The red curry is more than good. It’s phenomenal! The flavors just explode in your mouth like fireworks, and you’ll never be the same again. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone, for as long as I live.

The host was marvelous! Excellent humor! Server, however, being from Brazil needs a bit more time to familiarize with menu and service. Pad Thai and Tom Kha delicious and fresh. The star of this meal was surprisingly the khoa pod tod fritters! Perfectly crisp and flavorful! And, you can't go wrong with the iced chai tea! Ting Thai is a great spot to pop in for lunch!

Tasty food, fast service, filling portion and great vibe. However they served our food in cardboard boxes even though we were eating in. We would've preferred to have been given food in glass bowls or plates like others we say eating in

My experience at Ting Thai on West Nile Street in Glasgow was disappointing. The food quality was below average, lacking the authentic flavors I anticipated. Additionally, the atmosphere felt strange and uncomfortable, making it hard to enjoy the meal. Overall, it did not meet my expectations.

Honestly, this is our favourite spot to eat in the Central Belt of Scotland. Consistently awesome curries, great service (Connor is usually our waiter, and he’s great with us!) and even when the place is packed, it’s not too noisy. We usually go for the curries which are delicious, and it has to be the West Nile street branch!

Come here often, consistently amazing food, and always great service. Connor always goes above and beyond, and is absolutely lovely Couldn’t recommend more!

Tasty food different from other restaurants

Good selection of vegan and gluten-free options! Food might be a bit spicy for people that can’t tolerate spice, but it’s really tasty!

Brilliant fast friendly service as usual. I often pop in here for a quick meal when in city on my own. Either grab take out or sit in. Food never disappoints, very reasonably priced which is why I frequent here. Pad Thai could perhaps be a bit spicier and less sugary. Other than that.. no issues, will always be back :-)

Service was exemplary. Food was fantastic and Conner was the Host With The Most. I already recommend Ting Tang to my friends and I shall keep blowing their trumpet. Bravo, Ting Tang, bravo.

Best Thai we’ve had in a long time! Having lived in Thailand, we are always looking for somewhere that does proper Thai food, Tang Thai hit the spot! We couldn’t fault a thing. Service was quick, everyone was really attentive. Food was served quite quickly too. Great choice of dishes and drinks also. Will definitely be going back again soon!

Ting Thai is an institution in Edinburgh and has moved over to Glasgow seamlessly. I used to LOVE Ting Thai in Edinburgh and was delighted when I heard there was one opening in Glasgow. Safe to say that the same quality and standards they had over in the capital followed them over to the West coast. The service is always spot on and the food is consistently perfect. Cannot rate this place any higher!

Amazing food and ambience- loved eating here as a tourist

My friend and I went there on Sunday for lunch to finish off shopping trip. It was the best decision ever! The food was delicious, and the place was amazing. It has a fantastic vibe and let's not forget about Connor who made our experience extra special :))). We will deffo come back!

I thoroughly enjoyed the impromptu dining experience with some delicious vegan dishes and a lychee negroni. Their staff member, Cameron, took care of my dietary needs and carried a conversation in a friendly manner. Highly recommend this place.

Ting Thai Caravan is in my top 5 Glasgow food destinations. The food is beautiful, great value and great portions. Wouldn't change a thing about the place. Top class every visit.

The service attitude is not good. Even before the meal is finished, I keep trying to collect the food. The attitude when giving cutlery is also very bad.

I came in with my friends on our way to see Doja Cat and we were so delighted with everything! Conor was perfect to us.

Just had dinner (10/6/24) in 'Ting Thai' West Nile St with my son. We were fairly taken aback at just how disinterested (to the point of being rude) the two female staff who were on the floor were. Admittedly, this chain squarely positions itself as being a fast-food stye franchise, felt very much like a post-pub eaterie as opposed to offering anything in the way of a haute cuisine experience .... but regardless of cost (and it wasn't super-cheap), the attitude of the two staff that tended our table was poor to the extent that we both vowed on leaving never to return. The food was okay but even if it had been superb, I could never envisage setting foot in the place again, due to the aforementioned service.

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, the place is nice, but it was SO LOUD. People were shouting over each other because the music was blasting, I couldn’t hear my own thoughts, let alone my partner speaking to me. We just ate quickly and left. Despite the food being great, I sadly wouldn’t come back.

Great impromptu meal at Thai Ting. I had pad Thai and my husband had a chicken small box. We also got a side of rice and noodles too. So tasty and fresh and piping hot !! Staff were lovely too, fab service. Cocktails looks lovely too, maybe next time though as I was driving. Can’t wait to return soon.

Our waiter Connor was 10/10, so lovely, so attentive! Food was just good, would go again though. A little loud but for a Saturday that’s understandable. Super affordable, food came quick, enjoyed our visit for sure!

The worst thai food I've ever eaten,it all sounds amazing on the menu but the food is very basic and tastes like it's made with bottled sauces, cocktails were cheap tacky and not very nice either only good thing about the place is the service, the waiting staff were all lovely and the decorations is really nice, restaurant is spotless, food just isn't good at all

Our water jug ​​on the table was empty, and when the service did not return, we borrowed from the table next to it (where no one was sitting). When the service comes back, we almost get scolded for this: "You mustn't move things from other tables!" The food tastes like nothing! Unless you only love to taste chilli... We like spicy food but this was too much. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the music is so loud that it can be difficult to have a quiet conversation. We come in and ask if we can order a few drinks, "no problem" but 10 minutes later we are told we are not allowed to sit here unless we order some food - WHY weren't we told this then we got in!! ! Delicious food, in small enough servings to dine light, or as we did, order several plates, and flavors, to share. Though we had no reservation, we were lucky enough to get a table. Even with the restaurant quite full, the staff never rushed us, their counsel was helpful, and their service excellent.

Ok, but not enough value for money. Nua tom ting thai: nice taste of lemon grass. A bit pale taste. Yam moo yang. Too much onion and not enough coriander. Nice shrimp chips. Yam sam krob. Was ok, nothing special. Quick service

Had a fantastic experience Ting Thai we went in for a late lunch the food was amazing I had a prawn dish to start and they were massive so tasty. The main was even better it was chicken and noodles nut chilli onions roasted garlic the flavours were bouncing all round my mouth fantastic so for two starters two mains two cans of diet coke it was ONLY £26 staff were great with helping pick from the menu get food great staff would highly recommend 😀 👍

I was attracted by the reviews from google. Unfortunately I found it far from satisfaction. It’s not authentic Thai from ingredients to taste.

Omg the food so close to Thai only never seen carrots in Thailand usually green beans but all the food we had for £37 took some home amazing granddaughter loved it too despite stool gate will definitely be back thanks appreciated

Amazing place, we went to the Byres Road one on the Friday and we were that impressed we booked at the city centre one for the Saturday. We have been to Thailand quite a few times and never had the food replicated outside Thailand until now!!! Every dish was the smell and taste of Thailand and the service was equally as impressive. Special mention to Fraser. Thank you and when in Glasgow will defo be back. Fabulous!!

Went here twice. About 15 pound per person if you order a meal and drinks. Great value. However the seat is not that comfy.

First time dining here , I didn’t make a reservation just turned up , the staff are really friendly! Connor took his time to explain and recommend dishes that I would like based on asking me questions about what I liked etc I will definitely be going back as the food was great and at a great price 👍

Great authentic & tasty food. The service, by Connor, was great. Unlike other restaurants in the City Centre, they do not automatically add a service charge to your bill. So make sure to reward the care & effort taken by this group of conscientious staff. Fab dining experience.

Coming from an Asian country where Thai food is a staple food, we found the food to be below par. The tom yam was sour however it was not spicy. The pad kra pow didn’t taste like thai basil but tasted burnt with soy sauce. Otherwise the service and atmosphere was great.

Amazing place! Connor was our server and he was so friendly and gave us great recommendations! Such a lovely atmosphere and the staff are so happy and just seem like a wee family. Not to mention the food was amazing, such good flavours and affordable!

We had a great food experience at Ting Thai. 2 starters and 2 mains with soft drinks came to only £40 which, in todays eat-out market, is a great deal in my opinion. This did not reflect in the taste or quality of the food served either and we enjoyed the fresh flavours of everything we ordered. Relaxed vibe inside with good music and prompt service. Recommend the king prawn starter and Khao Mun Gai Tod (chicken dish). Would definitely return to try other dishes!

I just got a takeaway order for lunch, but place was jumping with a lovely vibe. Food was deliciously fresh & tasty. Great service & not long to wait. Would definitely revisit.

The city centre location is easy to get to. The food is very good and cheaper than most. The service is very poor. Expect to be left sitting for ages unless you're a loud group (which, more power to them). Expect to be ignored if it's busy. Expect your drinks to arrive so late the meal is finished or stone cold. And expect to be rushed by the wait staff. This is a busy spot, so come with your own entertainment, enjoy watching the city out the large windows, and ignore the stressed looks on the staff's faces. It's not personal.

We visited here on the recommendation of work colleagues in Glasgow. An extensive menu to choose from and I went for the Massaman curry with chicken as I'd never tried the dish before. We decided on mojitos while waiting for our food, lovely and refreshing. Food was served very quickly and mine came with jasmine rice with nuts through it, delicious. Very casual dining and waitress was lovely, couldn't recommend this place highly enough for fabulous food at very reasonable prices

I always have an absolute blast in this restaurant! The staff are brilliant, makes you feel right at home. I love that it has a street food vibe with high chairs but there are always racks available for you to hang your bags/jackets up which is very convenient when the restaurant is packed. The food always comes out so quickly and we're usually in and out in half an hour. The lemongrass and ginger ice tea is a must have, along with the lychee juice if you're wanting something a little sweeter. Although I always go straight for a pad thai I have always enjoyed their Massaman Ped which is a piece of duck leg cooked in massaman curry. Their spicy chicken wings always have a nice kick but isn't too spicy. This is the best thai restaurant in Glasgow for sure!!

Informal but very busy restaurant serving Thai street dishes. Bubble prawn starter was the highlight, massamam chicken and jasmine rice very nice too.

I love to come to ting Thai it has become one of the places I go when I need comfort food it's super tasty . The only downside of this place is that the stools are very very uncomfortable the stools digs on to your legs and there is no back support I truly hate this stools.

I love to come here with family and am never disappointed. Relatively informal and with great food.

Love it here. High quality food with no fuss or pretence. We're a family of 4 ordered 3 mains and meals for the kids with drinks all for £40. So many average places now you're not getting change out of £100 for a family so the value here is extraordinary. Staff are all super nice as well. Food is fresh particularly the prawns. I hate frozen prawns so it's very refreshing to see places like ting Thai maintaining good food standards.

The best Asian restaurant in town. The Thai taste very on point, the food service was quick and the staff are very friendly and know the menu really well. Just make sure you book before you come or youll have to wait a bit Will recommend this restaurant when u visit glasgow!

Food was excellent, able to alter spice level, got extra spicy! Service was excellent also, staff were lovely. Spicy margarita was fab, not v spicy but tasted lush. Menu was extensive for lunchtime as often not as much choice for lunch. Definitely will return.

I have been to ting Thai twice. Once had khao suay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time visited with my husband order a small box of chicken grill, Thai green curry and fried rice, two cocktails and the taste is worth it. The price of the dishes ranges from £7 to £10. Portions are ok enough to make you happy.

The food is amazing, good portions and really tasty but the experience is ruined by some staff being extremely rude and with the “cannot be bothered” attitude. Also the super loud music makes it feel like you’re in the club which is a shame.

Absolute amazing service from Katya, she was very attentive and helped us to navigate through the food menu and also gave great ideas for nice touring sites around the south side of Glasgow.. The food was also very delicious and met every expectation for us.. Highly recommend.

Absolutely first class. The food here was amazing. Service unattentive but the food and vibe was spot on. Casual, quick and really really decent quality food. Cocktails were limited but really nice. 5 dishes and 2 Cocktails for £61 all fresh prawns etc. could not fault it.

I love this place. Been dining with Ting Thai since the opening days in Edinburgh and great to see the brand growing. Been back two nights in a row now. Went in last night with two friends from work, they loved it- we ate and drank well. We had fantastic service from Connor- super friendly, efficient and fun. Thanks Ting Thai- looking forward to being back in the near future.

Great food. Well worth a visit.

Disappointed in this place. I’d heard a lot about it and the menu looked interesting, with many dishes I wanted to try. Opted for Massaman king prawn with garlic noodles and was rewarded with a bowl of liquid which contained a few prawns and little else. Even with all the noodles added it was a swimming pool. Beer at £6.80 a pint is overpriced but it was good to have water already on the table. Service was pleasant but staff hard to get a hold of at times, and we weren’t even there at peak hours. Overall I think this place is a bit overrated and needs to try much harder to serve up food and an experience which truly lights people up.
