After eating my pad thai last night I have been up since 3am till now being sick and losing fluids from both ends

A firm favourite for lunch and dinner in the city. Great range of options and always super tasty and super fresh. The team are super helpful and polite, even on busy days. I've returned often with friends and have possibly tasted most of the menu by this point.

Decent Thai Food in Glasgow area if you are craving for hot Asian food, portion was fine. I would say this is a healthy version of Thai food as there's lots of vege and chicken breast.. Green curry was good, tomyum taste like instant noodle soup. Overall food is very salty, too much MSG, have to drink lots of water after. Though not as authentic, but overall good experience, don't mind going back for second visit.

I can't recommend this place enough. If you love good food and wonderful service than this is the place for you. The staff really make an effort and the food in just Devine. The pork belly is incredible and I would recommend them with the garlic noodles. Pad Thai is also highly recommended! Thank you so much absolutely love it!

Been here twice. Probably the best Thai Food you can get in Glasgow. The Pad Thai was amazing. The beef rice dish we had could’ve been a bit better. The red curry is worth trying as well.

The khao soi was phenomenal and I absolutely loved it. Perfect level of spice mixed with delicious creamy broth. The service was also amazing, we had to wait for a little bit for a table and they gave us free prawn crackers for waiting, so nice!!! My only thing was that the thai iced tea had no condensed milk in it, which is how I’ve always had it served at Thai places and part of what makes a thai iced tea. This tea was still pretty good, a little on the sweet side, but just didn’t have that creaminess that other thai iced teas have.

Connor catered to our needs of a large group really well. Was helpful and made it simple for us to pay for drinks and food separately and the food was very good as always. Highly recommend.

The food here is always fresh and tasty, there's a good variety on the menu, and I've tried a few different dishes over the years. The prices are very fair for the portion sizes. The seats are a little uncomfortable so best not to stay too long and risk a numb bum. I will be back again soon.

Superb food , quick fresh and delicious. Free water on table , £8.10 for dish . Refreshing not to be fleeced by horrific over pricing, which seems to be the norm these days

Food was outstanding I will definitely be back. They didn't have Thai beer on tap but the menu offered it and the toilets are going for a basic feel which is fine but they were very cold in Glasgow in December. Sort that and this will be one of my go to places to eat well priced brilliant food.

Sadly they brought my wine in a tumbler. They had no wine glasses even though they charged £8.50 for it.

Enjoyed a really tasty meal for two with a bottle of Syrah. Started with the Gai Cha Plu, which was served in a small box, and the Khoa Pod Tod served in a small bowl along with a small saucer of sweet chilli sauce. Our mains were the Pad Thai and Massaman Pork Belly. The Pad Thai came in a fairly large box, and the flavour was elevated with a good squeeze of the lemon slice. Our favourite was definitely the Massaman Pork Belly. This came in a bowl of vibrant yellow sauce. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and a very relaxed atmosphere. The transition from street food to restaurant is a hit, so be sure to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Food was brilliant, atmosphere industrial chic, in a good way. Service... Cordial, but with a booking we were literally kicked out after 90 minutes to turn the table, even as we spent £150 for 4 people. I'll never go again. Shame. Ruined it for us.

Always a great place for a bite to eat. Staff polite and friendly every time we visit. The food is always top class and authentic Thai style. Honestly can't fault this place. Been eating here since it opened and no complaints whatsoever.

We went to get a late lunch while waiting for our connection train. We shared three mains of fried chicken rice, garlic noodle, and yellow curry. I also had some prawn entree. I don't really like that the food comes in a paper box when you do not order take away. The noodles also tasted quite plain and the chicken was too dry for my liking. The yellow curry and prawn entree were yummy though. Lovely helpful staff and nice clean bathroom!

Great place, the food is always great

Pop in for a quick dinner as I saw good reviews online. But the food is very disappointed. I ordered spicy pork rice, the pork is over cooked and hard, extremely difficult to chew. Other than that, atmosphere is good, suitable for one person or several friends.

The place is very loud and crowded. There aren’t any hot beverages on the menu and it’s not allowed for the customers to bring any of their own drinks. The waiter brought the check and just left without asking how I was going to pay: cash or card. While waiting for my order I fetched myself a cup of tea from a coffee shop across the street. When I was ready to leave, the waiter came and made a remark that it’s not allowed to bring any drinks in. On my comment that they don’t have any tea on the menu he answered that those were the rules and also pointed on the empty Pepsi bottle standing on my table implying that even so, I’d brought this with me as well. Overall not a very pleasant experience.

Ate here last night and it’s a great restaurant, such a nice buzz/atmosphere about it! Food was delish - Mee Gratiam was 10/10! Staff were so lovely as well, we were served by Katya who gave us great recommendations.

Smashing pit stop for a quick bite. Booked in advance, had the table for a hour on a late Saturday afternoon.. service is great, helpful & super quick. Great big menu, lots of variety to satisfy all tastes. Good selection of drinks too.

A shocking experience, the worst I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Can’t comment on the food as the service was so rude we left… but having read the reviews this morning it seems we dodged a bullet anyway. When we arrived the member of waiting staff couldn’t be bothered even to say ‘hello’, there was no eye contact. When I said I’d booked a table on line she turned away, silently, peered at the bookings screen, looked confused, as if it might as well have been a screen full of quantum physics. To be fair the place was very busy - actually I’d describe it as rammed and somewhat uncomfortable. At this point she picked up two menus and started walking into the room. Still not a word said and no eye contact. Presumably we were meant to follow her. She reached a table and dropped the menus on the table. At this point normally, you’d expect a word or two, “here’s your table”, “would you like a drink just now?”. But no, she actually didn’t even turn, and continued walking away. We were absolutely dumbfounded. We left, and will never return. For heaven’s sake, either give your staff some training, or actually screen your employees to have a basic level of understanding of what’s needed in a customer-facing role. I shudder to think of the standards in the kitchen. We went to another Thai restaurant round the corner where the service was friendly, polite. Oh yes, and they didn’t have long hair unhygienically hanging down either.

Been here a few times no complaints till today. Went to Tai ting today Friday 4th Oct at 11.50 am it was opening till 12pm myself and my cousin ask one of the staff if it was OK to sit at the table and chairs outside..she replied aye can I take the covers off the chairs first ..in a right cheeky manner she is lucky I never reported her if she can't be pleasant to the public don't work with them simple

Ting Thai West Nile Street: A Dairy-Free Delight I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ting Thai West Nile Street, and I can confidently say it's one of the best Thai experiences I've had. As someone with a dairy allergy, I'm always on the lookout for restaurants that can cater to my dietary needs without compromising on taste. Ting Thai absolutely delivered! The restaurant's dairy-free kitchen is a game-changer. Every dish I tried was packed with flavour and texture, and I never once felt like I was missing out. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations based on my preferences. I had the Steak dish and chicken wings to start, we also tried the amazing deep friend egg, you NEED to give that a go. My colleague has the Massaman dish and the Thai fried chicken, ALL were superb. The atmosphere at Ting Thai is vibrant and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a business/casual meal. The service was impeccable. If you're looking for delicious Thai food in a welcoming setting, I highly recommend giving Ting Thai West Nile Street a try. You won't be disappointed!

Second time I've been here. The Thai Green Curry was really tasty and had a good spiciness. The cocktail (an inventive Rum sour) was brilliant. And the window seat gave us live entertainment from the Saturday night people watching. The service was spot on too. A good, low key place for a satisfying meal.

We come here often, the food is excellent proportion spot on, Kim always takes time to talk to us, given it’s the city centre the price of food is very reasonable

I got a takeaway from here for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ordered the massaman curry without the peanuts, and they bagged it separately from my friends order to avoid cross contamination (now I'm not allergic but I thought that was really good of them). The food was great, admittedly the curry was slightly watery which I'm not a huge fan of but tasted great. The rice was thoroughly enjoyable. I'll definitely be back to sample some other items on the menu.

The food was nice with a lot of options on the menu. We enjoyed our meal. However the staff weren’t really paying attention, it was difficult to get them to notice us and seemed distracted. One of the dishes came served in a box which seemed a bit random when everything else came on nice plates.

I really wanted to like this place but its a no from me! i know people love it and thats great, it was basically a fast food place you’d expect in a food court in my experience, horrendous seating, high seats learning onto a ledge to eat and paying almost 7 quid for a pint! blatent rip off, theres a lot better places to get thai in glasgow in a much more enjoyable atmosphere, safe to say I wouldnt return and cant recommend it at all

Dreadful. Overcooked meat (chicken and pork) and very dry rice. Sauce with a little honey was incredibly sweet. Meat in top of salad so wilting. Everything seems pre cooked and heated up in a wok. Not nice at all. Amazed by the positive reviews. Very uncomfortable canteen style restaurant and overpriced for what it is.

Wow the food is excellent here. A very Casual style place but freshly cooked food. A couple of vegetarian curries to choose from but the yellow vegetarian curry was delicious. It would be great going forward if the green Thai curry or red Thai curry were suitable for vegetarians, I would defo visit more often and recommended this place to my veggie and vegan friends if this was the case. Fingers crossed!

I recently dined at Ting Thai, and it was an unforgettable experience! This might just be the best Thai food I've ever had. The flavors were absolutely out of this world—every dish was bursting with authentic taste and perfectly balanced spices. The service was equally impressive. One of the ladies, whose name I sadly can't recall, provided exceptional service. When a drink accidentally spilled on my end, she immediately replaced it without hesitation. Her attentiveness and professionalism really stood out and made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, Ting Thai offers a fantastic dining experience with incredible food and top-notch service. Quirky but nice kitchen factory restaurant layout. Food incredibly tasty and genuine - told the staff as good as found in Singapore!! True. Amazing Thai cuisine nouveau - any time in Glasgow it deserves a re-visit. Service very smooth and helpful. Altogther a great experience - from seasoned travellers from SE Asia who say it beats most we have seen all over Europe and the UK. Recommend x "n"

Sadly our first trip into Ting Thai wasnt very good. We were served and sat fast at the bench seats at the window. These are odd, an odd height stool with no where to put your feet or belongings, and we were just looking at Gaucho across the way, not quite a Thai vista 🤣 We ordered a beer each, which was incredibly gassy, and we each had a main. One with "slow cooked pork loin" with rice and the other with chicken and noodles. The food came cutely presented / packaged and approx 3 minutes after we ordered, which is suspiciously fast. Sadly, the meat in both dishes was super dry and overall the food was underwhelming. We wouldn't recommend, maybe later in the evening where you're not served the lunch leftovers.

The red curry is more than good. It’s phenomenal! The flavors just explode in your mouth like fireworks, and you’ll never be the same again. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone, for as long as I live.

The host was marvelous! Excellent humor! Server, however, being from Brazil needs a bit more time to familiarize with menu and service. Pad Thai and Tom Kha delicious and fresh. The star of this meal was surprisingly the khoa pod tod fritters! Perfectly crisp and flavorful! And, you can't go wrong with the iced chai tea! Ting Thai is a great spot to pop in for lunch!

Tasty food, fast service, filling portion and great vibe. However they served our food in cardboard boxes even though we were eating in. We would've preferred to have been given food in glass bowls or plates like others we say eating in

My experience at Ting Thai on West Nile Street in Glasgow was disappointing. The food quality was below average, lacking the authentic flavors I anticipated. Additionally, the atmosphere felt strange and uncomfortable, making it hard to enjoy the meal. Overall, it did not meet my expectations.

The food is excellent, the ambiance warm and the service... Katya was wonderful. Friendly, helpful and very efficient.

Honestly, this is our favourite spot to eat in the Central Belt of Scotland. Consistently awesome curries, great service (Connor is usually our waiter, and he’s great with us!) and even when the place is packed, it’s not too noisy. We usually go for the curries which are delicious, and it has to be the West Nile street branch!

Come here often, consistently amazing food, and always great service. Connor always goes above and beyond, and is absolutely lovely Couldn’t recommend more!

Tasty food different from other restaurants

Good selection of vegan and gluten-free options! Food might be a bit spicy for people that can’t tolerate spice, but it’s really tasty!

Brilliant fast friendly service as usual. I often pop in here for a quick meal when in city on my own. Either grab take out or sit in. Food never disappoints, very reasonably priced which is why I frequent here. Pad Thai could perhaps be a bit spicier and less sugary. Other than that.. no issues, will always be back :-)

Service was exemplary. Food was fantastic and Conner was the Host With The Most. I already recommend Ting Tang to my friends and I shall keep blowing their trumpet. Bravo, Ting Tang, bravo.

Best Thai we’ve had in a long time! Having lived in Thailand, we are always looking for somewhere that does proper Thai food, Tang Thai hit the spot! We couldn’t fault a thing. Service was quick, everyone was really attentive. Food was served quite quickly too. Great choice of dishes and drinks also. Will definitely be going back again soon!

Ting Thai is an institution in Edinburgh and has moved over to Glasgow seamlessly. I used to LOVE Ting Thai in Edinburgh and was delighted when I heard there was one opening in Glasgow. Safe to say that the same quality and standards they had over in the capital followed them over to the West coast. The service is always spot on and the food is consistently perfect. Cannot rate this place any higher!

My friend and I went there on Sunday for lunch to finish off shopping trip. It was the best decision ever! The food was delicious, and the place was amazing. It has a fantastic vibe and let's not forget about Connor who made our experience extra special :))). We will deffo come back!

Ting Thai Caravan is in my top 5 Glasgow food destinations. The food is beautiful, great value and great portions. Wouldn't change a thing about the place. Top class every visit.

I came in with my friends on our way to see Doja Cat and we were so delighted with everything! Conor was perfect to us.

The service attitude is not good. Even before the meal is finished, I keep trying to collect the food. The attitude when giving cutlery is also very bad.

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, the place is nice, but it was SO LOUD. People were shouting over each other because the music was blasting, I couldn’t hear my own thoughts, let alone my partner speaking to me. We just ate quickly and left. Despite the food being great, I sadly wouldn’t come back.

Just had dinner (10/6/24) in 'Ting Thai' West Nile St with my son. We were fairly taken aback at just how disinterested (to the point of being rude) the two female staff who were on the floor were. Admittedly, this chain squarely positions itself as being a fast-food stye franchise, felt very much like a post-pub eaterie as opposed to offering anything in the way of a haute cuisine experience .... but regardless of cost (and it wasn't super-cheap), the attitude of the two staff that tended our table was poor to the extent that we both vowed on leaving never to return. The food was okay but even if it had been superb, I could never envisage setting foot in the place again, due to the aforementioned service.

Great impromptu meal at Thai Ting. I had pad Thai and my husband had a chicken small box. We also got a side of rice and noodles too. So tasty and fresh and piping hot !! Staff were lovely too, fab service. Cocktails looks lovely too, maybe next time though as I was driving. Can’t wait to return soon.

Our waiter Connor was 10/10, so lovely, so attentive! Food was just good, would go again though. A little loud but for a Saturday that’s understandable. Super affordable, food came quick, enjoyed our visit for sure!

The worst thai food I've ever eaten,it all sounds amazing on the menu but the food is very basic and tastes like it's made with bottled sauces, cocktails were cheap tacky and not very nice either only good thing about the place is the service, the waiting staff were all lovely and the decorations is really nice, restaurant is spotless, food just isn't good at all

We like spicy food but this was too much. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the music is so loud that it can be difficult to have a quiet conversation. We come in and ask if we can order a few drinks, "no problem" but 10 minutes later we are told we are not allowed to sit here unless we order some food - WHY weren't we told this then we got in!! ! Ok, but not enough value for money. Nua tom ting thai: nice taste of lemon grass. A bit pale taste. Yam moo yang. Too much onion and not enough coriander. Nice shrimp chips. Yam sam krob. Was ok, nothing special. Quick service

Delicious food, in small enough servings to dine light, or as we did, order several plates, and flavors, to share. Though we had no reservation, we were lucky enough to get a table. Even with the restaurant quite full, the staff never rushed us, their counsel was helpful, and their service excellent.

Had a fantastic experience Ting Thai we went in for a late lunch the food was amazing I had a prawn dish to start and they were massive so tasty. The main was even better it was chicken and noodles nut chilli onions roasted garlic the flavours were bouncing all round my mouth fantastic so for two starters two mains two cans of diet coke it was ONLY £26 staff were great with helping pick from the menu get food great staff would highly recommend 😀 👍
