Tonight I placed an order they were obviously busy. I had the owner of the shop deliver my meal so that it was on time! The food is delicious and freshly cooked unlike the one in Uddingston where they microwave the chicken tikka! Folks you want fresh tasty food order here 🙏

Best Indian takeaway in the area. The staff remember the names of their regular customers and greet them kindly. We have a Friday night takeaway and without fail always satisfied. South Indian, lamb and spinach, chicken tikka meal are all great.

Food for seven people at work and everyone enjoyed their meal, Also appreciated the kind gesture of one of the younger members of staff carrying most of my food to my car which was a fair distance away will buy from again.

Been going here on and off for the last four years when here with work. The madras is lush in flavour but its dam hot. I opt for the house curry now. It's really tasty and has just enough kick. Good sized portions and great staff. Can't comment on kebabs as I don't eat them ever. However I still think it's the best curry house I've visited in over 20 years. Well done guys.

Picked up a meal costing £37.60 as I was having visitors Had food for here previously with no issues. However tonight I was very disappointed as food was almost cold. When I collected it the meal was on top of the grill.. Had to heat it up in microwave. Not happy as visitors had arrived and awaiting dinner..Hopefully it'll be better next time if I return..

Well, I’m very sad to say goodbye to this once great take away as it has now became the worst around the area for messing up orders. Since Covid began there has been constant mistakes in orders - extra sauce missing, no cheese on chips, extra salad missing - These mistakes may seem trivial to some but this is happening constantly to me, my family & many friends too. Everyone I know was saying they’re too embarrassed to phone them about these minor ‘mistakes’ but I have called each time & only once or twice have received a replacement hours after my food is eaten or cold.Tonight I ordered TWO dishes & an extra sauce (50p) as always the sauce was not there! Hence this review.It may only be 50p or a £1.50 or so a time for us all but it all adds up & we aren’t getting what we ordered. It’s always an error in the take away’s favour! If you look at my earlier review you’ll see I gave this place five stars once but something has sadly changed. Munchy boxes are now filled with chips & less chicken & pizzas have less toppings etc. On the plus side the food is still tasty as they are wonderful chefs but they’ll really have to pull their socks up. I really hope they read this as they’re losing a whole lot of once faithful customers. Spice of Kashmir thanks for the memories!

Didn’t know you could burn a salad. Salad on my kebab was cooked through. The guy at the door was arguing on the phone while taking my order. So rude. He took 10 minutes to take in my order, whilst talking on the phone to his pal jupati joe

Well it has been a while since i have been in the shop. Their food is really good. I would give three stars for the place. It's definitely not five star standard. But its still really good. The only problem i have with the place is that i made an order for something. Went to get it and was charged the wrong price. I had to make sure. So i was on their website checking. So i called up to say to them. The guy on the phone was really nice. But said next time i come in i will get the money off the next order. But i would have rather of had my money back. It's not really nice saying this. But that is classed as stealing.

Just had a curry from here for the 1st time and I must say the chicken tikka bhoona was amazing and chicken pakora was so fresh and tasty. Will definitely be going back

I first tried Spice of Kashmir a few years ago and they have never let me down. I'm a lover of korma and this can run the risk of a bland meal, but never from here. It's always so tasty and full of flavour. Have just introduced my family to it tonight and we all absolutely loved our meals (another korma and a bhuna!). Don't go anywhere else for your takeaway, because there is no comparison!!! ❤️

Got a madras and a South Indian garlic chilli chicken, none of the containers had what was what on them but I’m pressuring the hot one was the South Indian. Far far to spicy, out of all the times I have ate this I have never had one so nippy in all my life it was that hot it was unenjoyable and couldn’t eat it, I think you should write in your menu how nippy this actually is.

Cv19 price increase the only one's to do this. lyers and monopolising theifs. Clame the supply chain is to expensive an all the shops (not aaian) are the same price as last week. After Cv19 the public will remember that

Pizzas delicious as is anything else we have tried. Definitely recommend.

Nice authentic Indian cuisine at a very reasonable price, if you don't want your curry too hot and nippy then just ask as they will make it milder for you at no extra cost, lamb curry, fried rice, Nan bread, poppadoms,spiced onion's and mixed pakora all for a bargain price of £10:50 and there's plenty of food there to feed two, well worth it.

Horrible food and horrible service waited forever for the food to come then it was the wrong order. Called shop and was told I would get money off my next order instead of a refund I said no and to just send out the correct stuff. Waited over an hour and still didn't receive my food. Then tried to call to find out what was happening for the shop to then be closed. Total joke customer service is terrible.

An absolute shambles of how to run a business, have tried to order take away on several occasions and phone is clearly off the hook, food wasnt very palatable last time I collected, best to avoid if you value your health as not the cleanest of places either.

It was our first time in scotland and we were hoping for a good trip as we were attending an important international event early the next day. It was late and there was no halal place near by so i found this place. The service was quick but there was no sauces on our food whatsoever although we had paid over 15 pounds for just 3 meals. As a result we did not enjoy the food and had to throw it away. Atleast ask, or put the simple sauces any other take away would put like ketchup and its called "spice."

3rd time now order and don't get what ask for. Give it one more chance as fast. Kabab meat cold again

I go here quite regularly, always collect my food its something I have always done so i Cant comment on the delivery side, but the food is always amazing, have never had a bad meal yet. Great value for money, cant fault it.

The quality of the food here is great, so I'm slightly reluctant to write this review but this place seemingly finds it impossible to get an order correct and they aren't really bothered about making up for their mistakes. Last two times we have ordered from them: Delivered a large pizza, half vegetable/half spicy chicken, but the spicy chicken half was pepperoni instead. I phoned them and they said you can wait an hour for a replacement to be delivered or come get it in 10 mins, so I went to collect it - i was given a small pepperoni pizza and two poppadoms by way of apology. No really any use when my wife is sitting at home with her half of a now cold pizza. Delivered our order without the poppadoms, phoned them and asked for a replacement to be delivered and they said "it's only the poppadoms that are missing, it's only 2 quid". Well it was £2 i'd paid and also meant that the mango chutney and spicy onions I'd paid £2 for were going to waste. I didn't even argue, we just won't ever be using the place again.

Lamb curry was chewy.very hard to chew.

I ordered a buffet from here for a charity fundraiser night. Food was lovely & it’s definitely my favourite Indian take away. When the food arrived it was still hot & arrived bang on time. There was no food left at the end of the night. So I think it’s fair to say everyone else loved the food. Staff were very helpful too. Thanks again.

Ordered our buffet from here for our engagement party and would 100% go back here for any buffets in the future. Always my go-to Indian takeaway to begin with, I now even travel from Carluke to Bellshill for their food. Buffet was amazing, guests were up for seconds and thirds, giving their compliments on the food. Staff were really helpful about how much to order for the amount of guests too. Amazing value for money.

I just want to thank everyone at spice of Kashmir for the buffet they provided for my sons 21st birthday party. The food went down a storm,everyone was raving about it. Great value for money,piping hot and fabulous service.

Been coming to this place for years the food is always consistent and fresh! Would highly recommend to anyone!... I must add I feel sorry for the staff dealing with Bellshill customers all they seem to do is consume alcohol and make unfriendly complaints! I mean the other day someone ordered a munchy box wasn’t happy the owner went to refund the money for the munchy box only to find the box was half eaten Total waste of time feel for the staff and owners ! Anyhow the food is outstanding been using Kashmir for years recommend to anyone !

Just ordered from here. Sag aloo spinach looked like slop. Dopiaza was too spicy to eat after selecting the mild option. The driver didnt have change and also forgot to bring my drinks i paid for. Not happy and will definately not be ordering from here ever again!

Before I moved to Mossend 27 years ago, I used to travel from Coatbridge to the Poon'am restaurant as their food was second to none. I was gutted when it shut down but decided to experiment in the town trying various carry out shops. When we discovered the Spice Of Kashmir we never looked back. A well respected family run business using fresh produce daily. We now use them frequently and on special occasions like landmark birthdays and special celebrations. My father in law can't take spicy food but wolfs down his favourite Margherita pizza. I would recommend their Jaipuri, Chasni and Bhoona. Their South Indian garlic and chilli chicken is to die for. And if that isn't good enough, they even have an app for that......

I went in to which I heard it was a good kebab shop, order pizza and chicken pokora, this took 40 mins, staff where shouting at each other droping food everywhere, the manager was shouting at the women taken orders on the phone and grab her arm basically it was his fault everything was up in the air, took far to many orders on couldn’t deal with pressure, food was under cooked ! Never again

Staff good if u don't get impty (the dad )at night as he's tired sorry ure a business man who chooses to work they hours a customer is a customer no matter what time of night or day it is to by pass a question then to ignore to serve another is just ignorance then complain when some1 trys backing u up to defend their dad as it was late at night long day sorry we all work long days with more complex cases than a customer asking a question but at end of day I don't ignore yous

This has to be the best takeaway in Bellshill. The generous portion sizes and friendly staff always eager to help. My favourite is the chicken tikka salad box which is not only delicious but extremely healthy.

I am disappointed that I have to put a star for this takeaway so for that star the tandoori chicken was ok The big disappointment for me was the chicken tikka chasni We got a delivery so had our starter etc that was ok Dished out our chasni looked the part all red in colour etc Until you had the first bite omg I have never tasted anything like this in my life and I have had some bad curry’s abroad etc It tasted like a sweet and sour with spices So I decided to phone and complain the boy on the phone was top notch he said sorry for the mistake we will send a fresh dish out ASAP So that was grate After waiting 45mins the fresh curry was delivered so same again dished it out and the curry was the exact same So bottom line is the chef doesn’t know how to cook curry’s simple really really disappointed After tips meal was £20 to get put straight in the bin disgusting!!!!!!!!

Was a gorgeous meal, also found a pube in the nan bread but thats what makes it special and delicious. Great prices aswell and delivery was only 2 hours long for a pizza which is decent I suppose!

Ordered a 16" cheese pizza, way too much mozzarella and barely any sauce which gives the pizza a sickly creamy consistency. It's okay but I wouldn't order a pizza again sadly.
