Food is always amazing, delivery is always on time or early. Delivery driver is so kind and polite. Food is tasty.won’t order from anywhere else

Great food, piping hot, and premises spotless

There is no actual need for how hot the food was, after only one bite my mouth was on fire, the full meal went to waste as it was certainly not fit for human consumption

Delivery driver excellent. Daighter answered the door and took delivery from him. She said he was the nicest man and was so polite to her. Didnt manage to give him a tip but will make sure he gets one

I ordered a spicy chicken pizza and I got a cheese and tomato. Not great

35 minutes late and when it finally came it was very cold

Was terrible, korma tasted cheesy? Naan and chips were cold and soggy. All round disappointing meal.

Used spice of life a few days ago and was really pleased. But tonight’s food although on time was really really cold. Good looked nice apart from chips which looked as they had been reheated. Pizza was unedable. Pakora also really cold. Aswell. I feel this may have sat in the shop waiting for delivery as for it to be so cold must have sat a while

The Delivery guy was excellent giving me a new menu and highlighting new offers. Food was brilliant and I’ll definitely be ordering again. Well done

very poor service tonight. we ordered at 4.30pm and delivery due 5.10pm however after waiting almost 2 hours for our food and myself phoning restaurant twice to cancel as we had tickets for cinema our food turned up and couldn't be eaten as we were in the car ready to leave. £42 spent and refund refused. been loyal customers for years too. Disappointed 😞

Pizza arrived late and when I went to eat it, I felt it wasn't cooked long enough, base wasn't crispy and was Luke warm, I did put it in the oven to heat through and was much better.

Worse take away weve ever had , lamb kebab absolutely soaked with disgusting sauce , rubbery old meat veg seemed wet and soggy not fresh. Kids chicken nuggets and chips, cold and "wet" awfully rubbery chicken almost like fake meat , dry not salted chips.

Happy with the majority of the order and received free poppadoms with order. However, i ordered salt and chilli chips and it was just a portion of regular chips I got. Everything else really nice though, would order again.

My favourite restaurant in Motherwelll. Great good and great service. Actual authentic cuisine. After just one bad order, which I told them about, they actually seemed personally offended by the idea and bent over backwards to make up for it. what a place. 100% the best choice in Motherwell. Reccoment the South Indian, if you like things a little hot.

Small order of donner meat and cheese. Shops only 3 mile away. Turned up lukewarm at best, the cheese on top of the donner wasn’t even melted so the meat wasn’t warm to start with. Absolute travesty. Maybe the customers who spent a fortune get treated better 🤷‍♂️ very disappointed and won’t be back.

Guys … what happened tonight?? I get a delivery from you most weeks and food is always top notch … few niggly things not worth writing about but always a 5 star review. Tonight however, delivery as always way earlier than advised and driver so lovely, but the food tonight was really not great. Chicken breast wasn’t nice at all and sauce very grainy and strange? Chicken pakora was dried out and burnt, didn’t taste nice at all. I’m so sorry for the bad review, I know you were busy tonight but sadly

Sent my sister in to order salt and chilli chips with extra onion I received what seemed to look like peri peri fries with diced raw onion sent her back with them as this is not what I ordered they told her no you can’t return this and where very rude about it good customer service is not there at all will not be back Wouldn’t recommend

Spice of Life has always been my go-to place for a curry in Motherwell, ever since I was a child even! Very good takeaway to order from.

For me, no Indian food is better around for takeaway … the Chicken Tikka and Chicken Rogan Josh are to die for 🥰🥰 Got the onion Bahji tonight though and it did say loose ?!? Wasn’t so keen on that, never seen it like that before 💁‍♀️ … but 1st time I’ve ever gotten something here I wasn’t keen on … definitely 10/10 otherwise 🤗

Cold bland ordered set meal instead of separate curry's and was given the cheapest rice Ordered largest nan kebab and there wasn't even enough meat for one chips were cheap skinny fries

Brilliant. Just what I wanted. I wasn't expecting much as just wanted a cheap curry with a roti but rhe curry I got was so flavourful. Bit too much chicken though and not enough spice but that's just my personal preference. Will be ordering again!

Order kebab and chip, which is chicken pakora and chips, they gave me veg pakora.. mingin. Ordered sauces, put in comments too be all pakora sauce, only got 1 out of three pakora sauce. Person in charge of making orders, need to learn to read what the receipt says not just assume. Idiots.

Poppadoms over cooked korma spicy I don't do spice, that's why I get korma food in bin waste of money

I ordered no salad but got salad anyway, other than that, food was good

Food was poor, it was as if it had been made a lot earlier and was left to stand, bit congealed and not very tasty

Restaurant confirmed my order for collection I arrived 10 minutes early for my food and the place had its shutters down and was shut tried phoning the place but never picked up and said it was busy. I have been charged for my food and it says that I have collected even though that was impossible.

Waited over an hour for food called the restaurant and was told an inspection last was in so they hadn't even started making it yet. Shocking service couldn't even lift the phone to tell their customers what was going on

Another fantastic meal from the best place in Motherwell. Honestly never had a bad curry from this place. Food is alway top notch and fresh. Shout out as well to the delivery driver who is always cheery.

Spice of life used have great quality of food and twice we have received disgusting food. Veg pakora soggy in the middle as if not cooked. Chips soggy and limp. Cheap chicken with funny texture in chicken pakora. Chicken bhuna did not look or taste at all like it should have. The full meal went in the bin and such a waste of money. I will never buy from this place again as it has gone right down in food quality.

Food was good but ordered lamb chasni and chicken bhunna which was sent wrong way round had to take the meat out and wash it to swap it over to the correct curry disappointed

We had more oil in our curry than chicken, sorry this was a terrible tasting dish very poor. The bread and rice were fine.

Food here is always good. I usually pick up from the shop but have been getting deliveries recently. Biryiani is great! These guys are my default go to.
