The best restaurants serving Thai food in Scotland

Business meal on a Friday evening. Great service food nice, prices reasonable. Enjoyed the jungle curry and mixed starter.

We had an excellent meal here last night , great food and drink plus friendly staff

I am not one to write a review but i felt i needed to after paying 80£ for a terrible meal. The food was barely edible. The price was crazy. The chips were not cooked tasted frozen and the dishes were unbelievably salty.

Realmente me sorprende que esto sea calificado tan alto. Reservado debido a las críticas. La primera impresión fue que las ventanas estaban sucias, pero pensé que pasaría por alto si la comida era buena. El entrante eran las costillas, pero principalmente hueso y carcoma que apenas estaba tibia. Sospecho que acababan de tirarlo al microondas durante 30 segundos. Main era un curry tailandés de ternera. Una vez más, sospecho que esto acababa de ser microondas. Francamente, he comido mucho mejor comida tailandesa preparada del supermercado. Muy decepcionante.

Little pricier but best pad thai I’ve ever had (don’t have a ton of experience with Thai food tho)

Popped in today for a takeaway lunch and opted for the carrot and coriander soup and a smoked salmon bagel. Both absolutely delicious and well presented and the bagel had some yummy nice quality crisps on the side. Staff friendly. I will definitely return!

Beautiful meal in a lovely small restaurant, lovely food, impeccable Service.

The food arrived quickly. I can see why. It was off and they clearly wanted shot of it.my dog looked at me pretty damn quizzical. Don't do it folks

After years of walking past saying we must try Thai Lemongrass, we finally did. Well worth coming. Service was friendly and attentive, the food was excellent. We had the Banquet for 2, and it was a lot of food. However all well prepared and tasty, with depths of flavour too. We were very happy to have finally made it in. Well worth a visit.

6 of us booked in for dinner on Friday and the food and service were great. No complaints from anyone and we all left happy. For all the food and wine we have the price was great!

Me and my partner ordered lamb pasanda and I got a big black bit of coconut shell in my lamb. This was sharp and very dangerous goodness knows what would happen if I tried to swallow this . I could have died.

After eating my pad thai last night I have been up since 3am till now being sick and losing fluids from both ends

El día de Navidad en The Royal Thai, absolutamente excelente relación calidad-precio y una delicia no tener que esclavizar sobre una estufa caliente. La comida era un banquete servido a su mesa y por el dinero, definitivamente no pudimos encontrar falla. Plato de entrada compartido, elección de sopa o pato aromático y platos principales compartidos de un plato de gambas, un plato de carne de res y un plato de pollo servido junto con fideos y arroz. Un día de Navidad perfecto sin estrés, donde el tiempo de calidad se pasó con la familia. Las bebidas son un poco caras, pero, al decir eso, había una selección decente de vinos de la casa que eran mejor relación calidad-precio. Todos dijimos que haríamos esto de nuevo y guardar la cena de pavo para otro momento. Gracias a todo el personal de The Royal Thai por eliminar el estrés de la Navidad y felicitar a los chefs y al personal de la cocina por una gran comida.

Excellent local restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout. Very deserving of five stars.

I visit this restaurant on a fairly regular basis simply because the food is the best Thai food I have ever had in Edinburgh. This restaurant is so very welcoming,it’s incredibly authentic coupled with being very affordable and simply delicious. Tonight our waiter Sirawitq was so efficient polite and charming. I can’t wait to go back. Go for dinner you won’t be disappointed 😍
