The best restaurants serving Thai food in South East

Lovely lively Thai restaurant. My husband had fish curry which was excellent and I had the Crab Rice which was delicious . We will be back !

We just had a lovely Mothers Day lunch in Spice Oven. Very kind, polite service, good atmosphere! Loved the relaxing oriental music. Food was amazing, the Indian street food section was fab, also the paneer curry, dim sums just to mention a few. Kids loved the curries and then building their own puddings with all the ice cream flavours and sweets. Thanks Spice Oven for a great experience!

This review is regarding the Thai food takeaway, not the in-house service or drinks. First of all, the menu online does not accurately reflect the true prices of the meals! They are about £2 more expensive than it says online. Second, they made a mistake and gave us the wrong starter that three of us had ordered. The calamari was not great. I can forgive a wrong starter if it wasn’t for the incorrect prices. Regarding my order, the Tamarind duck was nice enough but very watery. However, my family said the noodle dishes were very nice so a mixed bag overall, they just need to update their prices and get the order right.

We thought we'd try something different for a quick dinner! The menu looked appealing and the food is cooked (or rather reheated) in front of you in a hot wok with lots of flames, which was an impressive show. I chose the "General Thai" which looked like stir fried battered chicken and vegetables on rice, on the menu. (Price was £10) The food itself though was not great, in fact it was awful. The 'battered' chicken was hard and overcooked, made worse by reheating in a wok. It would have been "ok" except for the charred taste, which at first I thought was just a smoky flavour, but actually became overwhelming and tasted like lighter fluid or some other inedible fuel you might ignite a barbecue with. The taste lingered afterwards for several hours, making me feel quite unwell. We have been put off and will not be returning to any of these fast food vendors in the food hall.

Disgusting, two of the dishes smelled like used nappies. Made me gag, couldn’t eat it. Never eating from here again.

Food was cold on arrival, the smallest portions we have seen of curry main dish and hardly any meat in it, very very disappointing, paid good money for cold food and extremely small portions, nothing labelled and items missing, first time we’ve tried you and sadly will be last have contacted just eat to request refund, please could this be arranged

Truly terrible ,manager/owner is unhinged,incredibly rude violent women .,my wife and I were thrown out as we asked to have our starters before our main course.The owner manager shouted and screamed at us ,even threatened me with physical violence. Do not understand how this place is still in business ..Avoid at all costs.

Serving larger in ale pint glasses with no widgets is the worst. No one in this day and age ever wants to drink a lager that looks flat and tastes flat. You can do better than that. Breweries don’t charge for pint glasses like you keep telling your customers

Absolutely wonderful food. I've been here countless times and I've never been dissapointed. Lived in Thailand for 2 years and I've always struggled to find a good pad Thai since. Then I found here and it's honestly fantastic. Hard workers creating great food. Thank you team ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Worst thai meal ever , washed off curried meat used to make a sweet disgusting thai dish .Soppy stale tasting pad thai , stale prawn crackers cooked in old oil , threw the lot in the bin waste of time and money . I'll never use them again
