Experienced food poisoning for 3 days after eating here. Not recommended and will not be coming back.

£11.95 - you eat better elsewhere with better variety and taste. Bad service and place does not look hygienic.

Sat 3rd Aug ‘2024: I popped in here to eat and had 3 plates. A nice variety of food, reasonably priced and clean and tidy, with helpful staff.

Poor overall dining experience. Food is tasteless and cheap and the beer was warm. Do yourself some justice and avoid at all costs.

I have been to this restaurant a couple times and I have been nothing but impressed. The food was great and the atmosphere was just right. Very clean establishment and most importantly the staff which were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning in the near future. The service is what really stood out here, the staff that I saw and had interactions with were nothing but welcoming and were ready to help at any point. The individual Sachit was very kind and his service made it 5 stars for me and my guest. Thanks again for the wonderful experience.

Absolutely awful food was jumped on by the manager with an attitude saying I couldn’t pay 2 separate bills the food was dry e.g the rice dish a chicken dish the mussels had gone off then asked for a refund we were a table of 4 but would only refund for 2 meals and was told to “get out now” advoid this place it’s awful!!!

Used to go to this place all the time - was our go-to in Windsor - we’re not picky and love an easy buffet - but place has gone severely downhill from last time we were here - cost cutting measures verging on completely insane. Very few meat options, and the meat options aren’t deboned and solely wings (because breast is clearly too expensive). Some spring rolls don’t even have filling! Chicken soup with no chicken, the hits keep coming. Every move in this place is a cost-cutting measure - right down to not serving glasses for the sake of saving on washing up. Crazy to see all these cost-cutting measures, but the price itself isn’t particularly competitive (price has gone up since we were last here while quality has gone down). Place has gone from our go-to to a never-again. Never, never again. Strange as it’s been taken over by Brown Rice and recall the Brown Rice chains in London are quite nice - but this one is a stinker. Truly feels like they do not want to spend a single excess penny to improve the customer’s experience. Avoid! Update: Food poisoning. Barely made it home. Place should NOT be open. ❌

Dishes are limited but the food was pretty good given that it's just £12 pounds per person. They kept refilling the dishes as well. Curries are flavorful and it's a plus that there weren't only chicken breast for chicken curry, which can be quite dry and tender. There are outdoor seatings as well. You have to return your own plates tho. Would recommend this buffet to others as you cant beat the price.

It’s cheap for a reason. Cheap meat , everything is chicken except for the boiled mince ,even the prawn toast is chicken toast. Tasteless rice , As for the (Chicken) and coconut soup, nasty taste. Avoid this place as it’s not proper Thai food . One of the worst experiences I’ve had eating out .

This food needs food. Did not get through the first plate. Just hope I don’t get sick as the sweet and sour chicken tasted a bit off as well. Buffets should give refunds when food doesn’t taste good.

Came here to try something different as we usually have Chinese all you can eat, but thought we would try Thai for a change there wasn't much selection and food wasn't very hot very greasy, we didn't stay long was disappointed to be honest £11.95 per person for what was on offer not worth the money, the food wasn't enjoyable at all, we would not recommend to friends or be coming back, it wasn't full of customers maybe now I can see why We have paid less for all you can eat Chinese and got more selection and better value for money. Hope Gordon Ramsey doesn't go there like we see him on TV at other restaurants

The best Thai food, best value, best restaurant in Windsor. This restaurant is a must go.

The food display is deceitful from the outside. I'm a Thai dish lover but this buffet is not worth it even for a cheap price. The pad thai is just plain noodles no flavour at all, the fried rice is warm and dried up already. The soup is close to getting spoiled in flavour, the chicken balls is just fried batter but you have to find the chicken balls among the vegetable battered balls. The chicken wings taste like it has been soaked in the sauce for hours. The only thing here that is ok is does looks cleaner than the other chinese buffet in the area

Well presenter restaurant and service was fast and professional Food was freshly prepared and all warm Green curry chicken was outstanding plus the spicy noodles which made complimented eachother well Would recommend coming again with family

Disappointing and never come again Look at the picture , they said it’s seeer and sour chicken but it’s only flours and powders , I’ve took a lot and every of them doesn’t have real meat in it . All the food in the restaurant is arround chicken and pepper, and taste really bad Very slow speed of top up the food finish 2 plate and the curry is still empty with no chicken

I can't say too much. In three visits (I do try and try) 1st left with irritable belly 2nd, I didn't leave with a bad belly ( I can't say it was good, though) 3rd a friend suggested, so I politely said nothing. Halfway through a plate of food, I discreetly left the table to go through up. Embarrassed for the next person using the toilet and no cleaning tools, I advised the employees of the situation. Partly so they can check on the toilet! Oh, they checked on the toilet BUT NOT A SINGLE PERSON CANE TO CHECK ON MY WELFARE. SSSSSOOOOOO, in short, whatever made me sick doesn't not matter. Although it does... But they make more effort getting people in with lures of free samples, it seems. Once in your on your own. I feel they wanted your money, but don't care about you once you're inside. So for this reason, I will never again go attempt their food. I hope it is a different experience for you.

You really can't go wrong here. I mean a tenner for a Thai buffet in Windsor with free water on the bar. There is enough variety and quality to please most tastes. We live the other side of London and we will definitely eat here again. I don't know why there are some negative reviews as there is also plenty of seating with a trendy atmosphere. We've paid a lot more for nowhere near as good. Thoroughly recommended.

I would highly recommend never stepping foot in this restaurant, they reheat their food and put it back on the buffet. I only had rice and noodles and within a couple of hours i had the worst food poisoning for two days straight and was put off any food for around a week. There were flies around the open sauces and I had never been this sick before and I was left pretty much bed bound. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy anyone putting 5 stars is lying to themselves.

The lady at the front is awful and has no customer service or people skills, im actually appalled by her behaviour, and she is supposed to be the manager? It's absolutely disgusting. How about someone sits your baby on another table away from you!

Absolutely awful place. Lady at the front with short hair is racist and rude. Do not go here! No customer service skills and only cares about her own Chinese people to seat in nice seating area. Put me and my baby right at the front of the shop and the back area was empty! If that’s not racism then what is?

Popped in for lunch while in Windsor. Buffet style £10.95 per person. Had to pay up front. Reasonable selection not great only about 12 dishes. Food was decent but now exciting. There are so many eateries in Windsor hard to choose one, just fancied something a bit different.

Very good fresh tasty food. Lots of choice. Take away also available which will be another reason to enjoy Thai Terrace. Recommended for good value tasty Thai.

This is an update to my original review which was 4 years old. My original review remains below in its entirety. I’m just topping up as can’t find a way to add a new review. New Review: Visited recently as a friend reckoned the place was better. I beg to differ. Current price is £10.95. I sampled everything. The worst were the sweet & sour chicken. Not sure I could actually detect any chicken as it was impossible to dissect the batter to expose any meat. As for the Chilli Beef, there was no Chilli! It was standard beef mince in a gravy with chopped peppers and beans. The food was as bland as it was 4 years ago. This really is one of those places where you should only visit once if you can’t avoid….. As for the decor. No change. In fact, the tables are now being sellotaped to hold them together. Definitely my last ever visit. Original Review: Without a doubt the worst buffet type 'restaurants' (if you can call it that), that I have ever been to. Avoid at all costs. Limited choice, and not of great quality. No investment in the building as it seems to have been taken over as is. Rather destroys the otherwise decent quality eating scene in Windsor. The former restaurant on this site was actually really rather good. But don't be mistaken that because it's still a Thai restaurant that it shares anything with its former occupier.

The advertised price on the board is £10.50 per adult, but the minute you pay, you get charged £10.95. Why dont you just advertise £11 and customers wont feel like being cheated. It is a self service buffet and you are asked to keep the plates back in the racks after eating so not sure what the service charge was for. We went on a Saturday evening so thought that the food would be fresh. Sadly it was all stale. the chicken chunks in the soup looked like they had been in that broth for over a week, the french fries has been repeatedly warmed up so had no taste, the food was arranged such that all non-veg food items were at the back (hard to access) and the veg was at the front. So anyone taking non-veg food was invariably dropping curries in the veg items which veg people wont be happy with. The interior was dark and dingy and toilets best avoided.

For the price you are paying at this place, it's well worth it! The price is decent, the owners and staff are kind and you'll have all you can eat! They have been hit as hard as any restaurant during the cost of living crisis, and it really shows that they tried to keep the quality of their food up to standard as well as their prices! Great place to have a good meal after spending your day walking around Windsor. Compared to other places, you'll get value for your money and at least you can see what you get! The beer is good too!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Not only is the food my favourite, but the people who run the store are so kind. I have, on multiple occasions, come from central London for the sole purpose of buying a Thai terrace takeaway box! I am allergic to peanuts and all the food is great for me, which is not as common in Thai food. They have such a great variety of food and it’s all so good! It is extremely reasonably priced as well, with a substantial take away box size and the buffet if you were to choose to sit down. 10/10! I cannot recommend enough! I bring all my friends here and they all love it too!

Thai terrace kitchen have the most delicious food at a good affordable price. The place is in a fantastic location and inside has a fabulous terrace. Beautiful view of Windsor Castle across the road. The food taste amazing.

I was at here about 2 months ago. The food was terrible, the service was a joke. Ive lived in thailand for 12 years, my wife is thai, believe me, the food was discusting. Not worth the price they charge.

Not a bad place to go when you're hungry! Just very minimal options! A cheap meal for sure.

I dined here with my partner this weekend. We had to pay on arrival and find our own seats so no service to speak of. Food was left by open door, curries were greasy thin sauces, meat was questionable so ended up avoiding it where possible. No atmosphere at all. Please do not eat here if you enjoy good quality Thai food. Walk further down the hill to Thai Square and Giggling Squid which are of an excellent quality instead.

Went for dinner on a Saturday night after a lovely day in Windsor. Made to pay on the door before even entering, when inside and already paid the place was filthy, smelt bad, food was not good and all I can say is the chicken in the chicken dishes .. was defiantly not chicken! To avoid getting ill me and my partner stayed away from all the meat and seafood and left feeling very ripped off and upset we hadn’t gone to a nicer Thai in Windsor which there are plenty of !! Don’t waste your money here, pay a bit more and go down the road to Thai square of giggling squid, this is not the place you want to eat !

Popped in for a take away lunch during my dinner hour. Fresh steamed vegetables, so much healthier than Mc Donald's next door. Clean, fresh and friendly staff. Will be popping in again.

Amazing! I came here on Monday 27th March by myself and have always wanted to try the buffet as I walk past this place quite often and always looks good. I am so glad I did! I am a real foodie and love great food. Dont worry about paying on entry - who cares? You cannot downgrade a restaurant just cause they ask you to pay upfront. Anyway, Great fresh tasty food. I really enjoyed the food, it was not greasy and at night it did not sit on my stomach - it was very light and fresh. Highly recommended! Service very good, run by lovely people. Gary Mander

Bardzo dobre miejsce aby zjeść obiad. Koszt menu z napojem to 12,75£ i jesz ile chcesz. Jedzenie bardzo dobre. Brakuje mi tylko krewetek i byłoby idealnie. Byłem tam już dwa razy i napewno wrócę, jeśli tylko będę miał okazję. Zdecydowanie polecam.
