The best restaurants serving Thai food in Brighton and Hove South East

Found this to be the most authentic Thai in Brighton/Hove area. We had a takeaway that was full of flavour, we really enjoyed it. Thank you!

This place is unfortunately a shambles. The food is of good taste, how ever the portions for the price are absolutely ridiculous. Such a shame as we would love to support a local unique business but being such extremely poor value for money I just can't justify it. Coupled with the extreme lack in customer service. Poor wait times, struggle to even make an order in the first place. I can't see how this place will survive much longer. Having experienced dine in and take away from here the disappointment is equal between the two experiences. Eat in. Expect your rice to come out first? Followed 20 mins later by your main? Takeaway? Except to arrive on time and wait a further 20 mins before they acknowledge you and then another 15 before your kids sized portions are brought out to you with a very cheery, enjoy your meal. They must walk back into the kitchen and mutter 'you absolute mug' This business has a really good model but extremely poorly executed. What an absolute shame for Shoreham-by-Sea.

Great Giggling Squid to visit, not as crazy packed as central Brighton. Quality as expected from the restaurant and staff were friendly and helpful. Cocktail menu is great too. We will be back.

Best prawn pad Thai in Brighton! Really delicious, generous portion, prawns were big and fresh tasting. Mother in law had recently had dental surgery and was unable to eat solid foods but wanted to go out, our waitress was so kind and accommodating. She brought out a piece of tofu so she could see if it was soft enough! MIL had Tom Ka without any solids and it was so so delicious - will definitely order this when we next come (with all the usual fixings) Thank you so much for such a lovely dinner !

I stopped by a couple of times to get Pad Thai. It's probably not the biggest portion I've got, but it was delicious and both chilli and peanuts came in separate little bags, which is really great, I could regulate the level of spice. The place itself and the people who work there are really lovely. So, I'm happy with the food and the service! Thanks, guys

When you ask for advice on food selection and the waitress gives you a dirty look and laughs at you or sets a bad impression. Quality of the good had also gone down. What a shame.

Visité hoy para un asado temprano el domingo con nuestros 2 niños pequeños. Precioso fuego de invierno, servicio fantástico y atento, comida deliciosa, en general una experiencia encantadora! Se siente muy bien tener una ubicación tan impresionante para un pub local que ofrece excelente comida, bebida y servicio. ¡Gracias!

The local beer with a citrus flavour was awesome and I loved it. The dinner menu was Middle East with lamb Kofta and chicken shawarma. The portion size was just right and the food was nice. This is a nice pub with friendly services.

Esta operación en el Charles Napier ofrece una excelente elección de lo que creo que es una relación calidad-precio tailandesa. Tuvimos la fuente para compartir como aperitivo, tuve un curry verde, mi amigo tenía rollitos de primavera. Estábamos al final de una tarde ocupada, así que fue un poco lento y se olvidó 1 orden. Sucede, pero no quita la buena comida. Los vinos en el bar tienen un precio razonable.

Food was great but 4 stars for the price staff a little off

The chicken nuggets were the best I've ever eaten. The onion rings were just ok. Portion size is very generous! Service is very friendly & professional. I asked for a large extra plate & they wouldn't being it without it being warmed.. A nice touch. Recommended.

We had a takeaway from here last night and the Khao Soi is absolutely amazing! Has lots of cardamom in and so tasty, really impressed by the quality and portion size will definitely be ordering again :)

Chilli was busy on a Monday night – which shows how popular this restaurant is. And no wonder, some of the best Thai food I have tasted. I could not fault the vegetable Tom Kha and Chicken Classic Cashew Nut Stir Fry I had. Desserts were tasty too and slightly different – with black sesame ice cream and rice and roti. The party I was with all ate different starters and mains and everyone was more than happy with their food. I would only have two caveats on the evening - the staff were friendly but could have been a little more attentive to us wanting to order things or call for the bill. Also, a common fault, the gents’ toilets could have been a little cleaner and a touch of paint here and there would have helped. But a restaurant I would love to return to and can thoroughly recommend.
