Excellent food at a.Very good price.great staff.but don't like service charge .even though optional.

Simple thai cuisine. Small resturant at the lower end of the scale. But.... Lovely staff and good price. Has that genuine thai hospitality warmth. Food authentic enough , nice but not the best thai food I've had but it's horses for courses. But it was still very tasty and prepared well. No complaints really, nice little place that feels welcoming and friendly. Comfortable atmosphere,can't really fault it. Some dishes made me think of living in pattaya again, a very nice feeling ! 😎 Certainly worth a stop in if your around Brighton and fancy something a little exotic. Will give it a go again in the summer. Charming......☺

Bland food, lack of flavour. Took two hours to arrive. Not worth the time or money.

Food was 1.5 hours late and cold. Delivery driver rang the wrong doorbell then yelled 'Who are you?' when I came down to check. Justeat refunded 1/4 of the price which seems fair, but I wouldn't order from here again.

Slightly disappointing. My tofu jungle curry was watery and not very spicy. The restaurant is too brightly lit and on my visit, the staff seemed a little disorganised.

Food was delicious, however they muddled up the drinks we ordered - after a quick phone call they sent the correct drinks out to us, thanks!

I wanted to try this Thai restaurant, what if anything negative can I say? Poor cleanliness, staff who don't know what it means to receive a customer, food where spiciness reigns to mask products that are probably expired, given that my wife and I felt sick after eating. No and then no.

Very frustratingly late, food not worth the wait

Great service. Food was tasty aside from prawns were left in their hard shells which made them awkward to eat and my husband couldn’t eat any of the panang which is his favourite as it was far too spicy. Would order from you again but will ask for a milder panang!

Aside from the food being 30 mins late with no warning, I had to call twice. The food with still fairly hot so that was no problem. Curry was yummy but very runny, almost like a soup

30mins late on a 45-60mins delivery time is too long and unacceptable. I won‘t order with them again, despite it being tasty food.

Usually love their food but delivered late with no explanation. It was cold and a but unappetising. Driver clearly didn't care.

Delivery was early luckily as it was a long wait time but the food was great. The only thing I would ask is that they have some vegetarian mains in the future. Would definitely order from them again.

The food was delivered really late and was completely cold and inedible. I phoned the restaurant twice and they were completely unhelpful and didn’t care. I would not recommend ordering from this restaurant ever.

Uh oh what’s happened to Muang Thai?? We ate there at the weekend & it has taken a turn for the worse...,The waiter seated us & then disappeared.. it was a good wait until someone else came to take our drink order & the drinks were warm!! Then an even longer wait for someone to take our food order.When our starters arrived - they were huge & very filling! I had tempura vegetable & my partner salt & pepper squid.It then took ages for someone to clear our plates away before our mains arrived.All in all the food was great, but service was poor.Not sure what’s happened - if it’s a change of staff or something but it’s not as good as previous visits.

Our food was absolutely amazing, very tasty and arrived hot. We did wait quite a while for delivery, we were over the 4 mike boundary but were still surprised by the wait time. The staff were very courteous and informed us of the wait. Would still order from this restaurant again.

Not impressed, ribs were 90% bone, chicken was chewy, crackers tasted a bit stale, not very tasty at all.

Slightly out of the way small Thai restaurant in the quiet end of Kemp Town. They have 2 raised tables you sit cross legged on cusions which are fun. Typical Thai menu and a reasonable meal with starter and main course for £40 for 2Nice simple healthy food in a pleasant Thai style decor

The food, when it arrived was fantastic in flavour and presentation. Unfortunately the food was cold which may have had something to do with it being 45 minutes late. I've put 'poor' for the restaurant service as we weren't able to get through on the phone to find out what was happening.

I have ordered from here 2 times now and both have been so tasty, (Green curry & Massaman) still lovely and fresh even though I’m 2 miles out of the delivery area,. would definitely recommend.

The crackers were wrapped in clingfilm, the soup had 4 prawns and like 14 mushrooms whole, Pad Thai was a little too sweet, not bad food but I've had much better, also charged me £1.50 extra for delivery at the door which was an ADDED cost.

Satay mushrooms where terrible, Veg soup the flavour was lovely but no real substance. My GF really enjoyed her meal though.

The pad si ew was disappointing, the som tam not very spicy or tasty and the stir fry was a few bits of veg floating in watery sauce. I also thought it was overpriced even with 20% off. The dry red curry was very tasty though!

There has been a hike in prices and a real drop in food quality, really disappointed.

Beautiful food with staff willing to bend over backwards for their customers. We had a booking for 14 with many different dietary requirements. Food cooked to order, plentiful helpings, one of the best in Brighton

both dishes were not edible and I could not eat them. the chicken pieces has black dots throughout them. the vegetables were soggy and tasteless in both the rice and duck rolls. the rolls were also soggy.. The rice was clumpy throughout. Both had a taste that truly made it impossible to continue eating. really disappointed with my order and considering neither dish was cheap, I'm feeling very let down to have spent the money and not been able to eat much of it, particularly on a night of bad weather where I can't easily pop out to buy more dinner for myself.

We ordered from the two course set menu for lunch and were not disappointed with the food. The food was all fresh and the taste was great. The only thing we could fault was the service was a little haphazard and one of the items we ordered was incorrect - however this was quickly corrected without any fuss. The interior of the resturant is a little odd, the tables set in a well arrangement to the left as you walk into the resturant kinda infer it was probably a Japanese place previously, and it could all do with a little tlc.

Sadly the food was late and the gentleman delivering was very apologetic, but 1.5 hour wait after ordering was too much and the food only just warm when it arrived (we do live 3 miles away but why offer to deliver that far if not viable?). The complementary prawn crackers were welcome but only stretched to one or two crackers each. Shame.

Waiting over and hour, and was advised by customer service at Just Eat that this was 'not their responsibility to compensate on late delivery.' Will not use this service from now on, as comparable companies compensate for driver lateness. Poor customer service.

wrong food turned up 45 minutes late AFTER an extra 15 minutes was added on to the order. left with half a meal and pieces missing from the starter. gone 9pm waited 2 hours for food. what a joke.

Very tasty food and I'm Thai, so I know when Thai food is tasty or not! I have eaten in many Thai restaurants and ordered from many Thai takeways, this is by far the best Thai food I had that taste like Thai food from Thailand. One thing though to make Pad Thai complete, could you please put crunchy peanuts and some more beanspouts. ขอบคุณคะ. เจี๊ยบ

Totally delicious - chicken satay, tofu green curry and spicy prawn rice. All really fresh and tasty and ready when we went to collect.

Fishcakes, beef salad and rice were great (fishcakes particularly so!), partner wasn't too keen on his pad thai though! Portion sizes were reasonable and our dishes were nicely presented, thank you.

Ordered through just eat which predicted a 70 minute wait time. Already quite long. Called after 90 minutes to be told it would be another half an hour. Offered an insulting 10% discount. No actual apology. Best they could do was 20% apparently. Avoid avoid avoid. Also it was on a Tuesday night which I can only imagine would be their least busy time.

Oh dear the food is good but over priced and the staff rude. There are other similar outlets that at the very least give a reasonable level of service. Mind you the soup was good but the portions small and drinks far too expensive. All you can eat places would be a better option for lunch he hungry.

Went in to here on Wednesday night from walking past after a few drinks in a nearby bar and recommendations from the bar staff and glad we did. Nice flavours, massive portions and full of flavours.

I only received half of my order and what replaced the other half was squishy veg in a fatty batter,this was meant to be a nice meal for my partners birthday and we’ve both ended up still hungry and too late to go anywhere else,unimpressed massively the only upside was that we chose to have a take away rather than go to the restaurant step it up people not a good thing when we’re visiting for the weekend!!!!!

Prawn crackers were nasty, soggy, stale, clearly cooked in rancid oil from terrible ingredients. The main was just beyond description bad. Bore no resemblance whatever to Thai food - unidentifiable black matter swam in a repugnant chemical-tasting sauce, with awful nuked prawns and big hunks of uncooked onion and pepper. The papaya salad was the only thing that wasn't wholly inedible, although it was pretty bad. Never, ever order from this diabolical, shocking excuse of a business, you'll live to regret it. I ate in the restaurant here about four years ago which is why I gave it a chance, but never again. Should be closed down for serving such awful muck.

Having waited 2 hours for my food only to be told its with the driver in woodendean (i live in hove) and will be a further 25minutes! Unapologetic staff on the phone, I now cancel my order not wanting food thats been driving around for 40minutes. I have been a regular customer to maung time but the waiting time and service has always been appalling! Thank for wasting my time today, if you can't meet delivery expectations maybe hiring extra drivers would be the simple solution! Maybe a sincere apology for your lack of service would also help. I won't be ordering from here again. Now I have to order from somewhere else waiting a further hour and half before i can eat!

We ordered a takeaway from Muang Thai. We usually eat in, so we were delighted that the takeaway, was as good as the food we are usually served.For a change I ordered the Tofu massaman curry - it was delicious. Lots of vegetables & tofu & a wonderful thick & creamy, flavoursome sauce. This is my new favourite dish!!Wonderful & excellent value for money.Muang Thai is still the best Thai restaurant in Kemptown.

Used to be good, a long long time ago.

I had the chicken satay, which was really great and the Pud See Ew, which I didn't like as much, veggies weren't that fresh (particularly cauliflower) and didn't have much flavour to them. Price was quite fair for Thai food. Probably would order again, but something different

I have no idea why this place ranks where it does, we LOVE IT. The ribs and squid are especially amazing. Quirky interior. Hands down our favourite Thai in Kemptown.

Terrible service. Cold food which was 45 mins late. Phoned before delivering to ask £1.50 for the driver. Did not want to do anything to rectify things.

By no means the worst thai takeaway option in the Kemptown area but not exactly the best. I was missing crispy noodles from my mixed starter platter, and I wasn’t too impressed with the batter on the vegetables - which I didn’t think was tempura. It seemed more like the thick batter you get on sweet and sour prawn balls,m. Also not sure what the ‘stuffed’ chicken wings was supposed to be like, but they just seemed like regular wings to me. Not really a bad thing, but maybe the menu needs reviewing? I did very much like the chicken, galangal and coconut soup though. Really nice flavours and different mushrooms used which is a change from other thai places I’ve ordered from. Did have to warm it up in the microwave though as it was lukewarm when it was delivered.

Very tasty food with friendly, attentive staff... The restaurant and loos were clean but just a little tired looking. They must be very popular for the takeaway trade as we saw the delivery driver pick up three times whilst we we were there but it didn't impact on our service at all. Would go again.

Best Thai restaurant in Brighton! If you want authentic Thai cuisine this is the place. I lived in Thailand for 2 years and finding a restaurant in the UK that offers the same experience , right down to the option for traditional Thai seating if required , is a rare thing indeed.

Safely to say one of the worst takeaways I have ever had. Ordered Tempru prawns, what arrived was a lots of oily thickly battered tastkesa vegetables and two prawns. ( they mixed up the order.) The chilli beef was so tough , the rice looked and tasted as if it was cooked the day before and the red curry had a few rubbery bits of chicken and didn't taste good. We phoned to complain and after some debate got a part refund. A really bad experience

Tea bag in a cup was my green tea and there is very little atmosphere to make u feel u r in a Thai restaurant.

terrible service over an hour and a half. if you are that busy that you cannot deliver in a timely manner then don’t give a 20% discount. better to pay a bit more and have food delivered when you actually fancy eating it.. maybe then you could afford to give some crackers complimentary as all you competitors do.

No problem with service or delivery but if u give them decent ratings it makes the order look good and it wasn't. Rice was greasy, as was the tempura. Tempura was "mixed£ which meant all veg bar two prawns which were breaded and out of a packet rather than tempura. The soup had just 5 prawns in and was vile and sickly sweet. The four tiny bits of prawn toast were made with stale bread and though hot were rock hard. Never ordering from them again. Disgusting.

Pad thai was hard congealed cold mass of bland oily cardboard. Compared to the thai on preston street this pad thai was an absolute travesty. Disgusting not worth a penny

Service is, above average, decor is fine, the toilets are, poor... ...but the food is fantastic. (Sort out the rest though!)

ordered at 8:50, was given an initial delivery time of 9:50, restaurant changed it to 10:20, by 10:45 I was having to phone the restaurant for an update (after 25 mins of not getting through) for them to say ‘the food is here but we don’t have a driver’. eventually it was delivered at 11ish. I wish the restaurant would have just kept me updated. when the food arrived it was alright. nothing great but not bad.

Still waiting for our order now we tried calling the number it is engaged we have being waiting 2 hours now. We still can not get in touch if you see this please can you check our order status ! We are starving 😭
