The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Thai food

Never again! The staff member , a man, barely acknowledged me and was down right unwelcoming. Some of the chicken satay ( starter) was oily and not cooked in the middle and the massaman chicken curry (main meal) was watery and tasteless.The chicken was chewy. I binned the massaman chicken curry meal after tasting the chicken and watery sauce, along with the “iffy” satay that was pinkish in the middle. I tried adding pictures of my described meal, unfortunately I couldn’t find an easy way to do so. The Thai Cottage and Giggling Squid in Berko have never let me down in all the years I have had the pleasure of getting food from them. Never again! I will never ever visit this restaurant.

Just had a lovely take out meal from here, arrived hot, delivery time was 65 mins which is acceptable. Lovely flavours and good menu choice.

Great food here and nice service. Staff were friendly and not over bearing. Would definitely eat here again

If you come to this restaurant expecting to eat how Thai people eat you won’t get it, this is how Thai people WANT to eat, I eat Thai food daily (as I’m engaged to a Thai woman) and I can tell you, the food, presentation, variety, attention and accuracy preparing the food in this place is 100/10

Food was awful, service was great, the restaurant decor is very poor. Chewy meat, inedible food, the only saviour was the serving staff. Extremely disappointed.

After visiting Thailand it’s been difficult to find similar flavors, but The Basement is the closest we’ve found to it. Great Thai flavor! We had the Tom kha, pad Thai, green curry, and spring rolls. All were fantastic

Hidden gem. Absolutely Delicious food at a reasonable price. Good, friendly service. Quite good value. Paid about £22 per head. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options and the vege options were cheaper than the meat. Generous portions. Will definitely return.

A lovely quirky restaurant. The service was fantastic, and the food was good. We'd definitely go again. Do book as it's small and popular.

A 4.5 is, even using the decimal scale, highly overrated. White Rice instead of jasmin, bland taste (a curry should at least have some spicy flavour). A huge disappointment.

Had a takeaway from here for the first time last night and it was absolutely delicious!! Like I mean jaw droppingly good. I had their signature dish after reading a review on Deliveroo and I can honestly say that it’s without question the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten in my life. I’m so happy I found Noks. I will tell everyone about it
