The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Thai food

Booked via website for dinner and received email confirmation via the third party “host me” app. Then on day received a further confirmation email. Arrived at restaurant which was in darkness, with post on the floor, clearly closed. Just tried calling to complain and number no longer in service. Shameful way to manage a business even if closing down. They need to notify all the third party booking apps.

Lovely food and lovely service let down by bland decor and a cold restaurant. Not sure if the heating wasn’t coping or it had not been put on as there were very few people in due to it being a Sunday. A shame as the dishes really were very tasty and there is very easy parking across the road in the carpark.

Tried several times to get a table here but it’s often full. Managed to get one last night and we were not disappointed. Excellent food, pleasant staff. Will definitely be back.

What a fabulous find. Greeted by the most delightful host and seated immediately (despite being very busy). Fabulous authentic menu, with expert guidance of all dishes, if needed. Very sensibly priced food and drinks. Will absolutely return…very soon!

On a two day visit to the Malvern Hills we dropped by this place on a Tuesday evening. We were met by Dan, whose knowledge of the menu was excellent. We went with his recommendations and they did not disappoint. The food was excellent value and tasted fantastic. The service was very friendly and we would highly recommend this place to any weary walkers to refuel after a stretch of the legs in this beautiful part of the world.

Wonderful customer service and fabulous food. We ordered vegetable spring roles, prawn toast and satay chicken for starters and for mains the Chicken pad Thai and Beef in red wine sauce. All very good.

As a Previously happy customer. who brings people to, and recommends this place, frequently, I am so very Disappointed with the last few visits.... - Price increases: I understood and accepted. Expenses increase we know that. - Portion reduction... This should be instead of price increases, not as awell as, but, OK - 1 visit we were brought wrong food & server told us its what they wrote down so we are both wrong not them!!!.... Not impressed, but we had cinema booked so ate it anyway. Another Tiime: - we booked a table and manager just gestured vaguely towards some empty tables at far end of room. "There are some empty tables over there"... Poor Service. - My Female guest was then handed menu and told "take this" with her to the table. Unacceptable! .... he then turned away and started talking to next customers. I really hope this was just a few "off days", and this kind of poor service doesnt spread to the rest of the staff, who have always been happy, attentive and fgiven great service with a smile even on the busiest nights. Good service is important when you are paying to eat out! There are many options for quality food now, so good service is ESSENTIAL if you want to keep customers coming back.

Massaman curry was spot on. Pad Thai was fresh and tasty. The best thing by far was the lady serving. What a character! We felt like a guest at her home, I’ll be coming back next time I’m Working near Bangor. Fresh tasty food served by someone who genuinely cares. No rush, just a nice dinner Would recommend

Absolutely the best food in the world . If you like spicy food, this is the place for you. I had a jungle curry which is unbelievable from Tiger Thai . There are some mild dishes which are just as nice. Their fish cakes are unbelievably tasty. I have tried many Thai spots and have never come across some where, were there is so much authenticity in their taste. 😋😋

My then girlfriend and I first ate at Chada when we were students in 1986. We didn't have much money, so we would share a starter and sometimes a main, and restrict ourselves to one beer each. Even so, the owners were unfailingly kind and welcoming, and the food was always fantastic. Fast forward to 2002 and as a now married couple, we revisited Chada to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. It had been a few years, but the restaurant was as good as ever. Shortly after we moved to Wales, but in November 2022 we visited once again to celebrate my sister in law's 70th. Every dish was absolutely delicious and the owners were so gracious. With our grown up son now living in London, we hope to resume visiting Chada on a regular basis.

Мы пришли в этот ресторан вечером, было очень много людей, сильно понравился интерьер. Официантка показала все варианты столиков, которые мы можем занять. Она была очень милая и приветливая. Обслуживание было потрясающим. Еда была очень вкусная. Наверное, это был лучший Пад Тай в моей жизни. Также мы заказали карри, рамен и курицу с рисом. Все было очень вкусно и граммотно приготовлено. Формат ресторана - тапас, официантка сразу предупредила об этом. На самом деле порции оказались внушительными, а потому курицу мы забрали с собой. Пространства в ресторане было не очень много, можно даже сказать, что было тесновато. И мы переходим к главному минусу - было очень шумно. Прямо слишком, было невозможно разговаривать. Конечно это не вина ресторана, но это немного подпортило впечатление. Но нужно учитывать, что мы пришли туда в пятницу вечером. Подытожим - это место с отличной кухней и прекрасным обслуживанием. Советую к посещению, но выбирайте время с минимальной нагрузкой ресторана.

We ate at Thai Spice on Saturday 12th October. It was a large group booking and it was a surprise for my partner's birthday. The staff, in particular the manager, were so so helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to have the whole downstairs area for our group, they let us bring a speaker to play our own music, and they let us bring balloons and a cake. The manager even got fully involved with the surprise and turned the lights off downstairs as my partner arrived. They really did go above and beyond to make the night a huge success and so much fun. We would definitely come back. The food was delicious too, and BYOB worked really well for us. A couple of things we would suggest is providing jugs of soft drinks rather than single bottles, and having a minimum spend per person rather than telling everyone that they have to order a main meal (some of the group wanted starters instead). But overall it was a brilliant night. Thanks so much Thai Spice!

Fabulous food, 5 of us went for a meal and all chose different options. All superb. Nice buzzing atmosphere off chatting and having fun. This is my fourth time and it’s never disappointed
