Haven’t had Thai in a while, pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Totally enjoyed will be going back to order this tasty Thai

Ordered a takeaway at 6.30pm. Advised that delivery would be 7.45/8pm Ordered a collection. Told would be ready at 7.45pm Arrived at 7.45pm and told it would be another 15 minutes . Waited and took food home. Food was adequate- tom kha chicken watery, massamun curry was sweet, udon noodles was anemic as was the pak Choi . Saving grace was the prawns which I ordered as tempura but were breaded! So sad as I had been expecting good things . Never again

Good quality Thai food. Very tasty!! Above all the friendly and courteous customer service from both staff on duty was remarkable!! I would be eating more of their food :)

Always exceptionally good take away. Only place we order Thai food from and never been dissapointed. Our son is big fan of their battered king prawns. Food is always piping hot and tasty. Definitely best Thai food in the area.

Fantastic Food.. Very Tasty , Beautiful flavours also looks as it taste... We ordered pad chow mein with king prawns & beef, Pad Mei with Chicken. Will definitely be ordering again.

This was our first experience of Phetrin and all I can say is wow. Amazing food! We ordered far too much and so glad we did. We will be back!!

Having moved to the area recently, was recommended Phertin by our neighbours and haven’t been disappointed. Have actually ordered three times from here and on each occasion the food has been excellently consistent and tasty. Great menu and choice of foods, would recommend to anyone thinking of trying!

Sorry, but there's a couple of reviews here that are a bit severe and negative. I live about three quarters of a mile away and my wife is the Thai food fan. Even so, just about to order once again. I am a discerning eater and I also do all the cooking in our house, but don't be put off by negative reviews, I think you should try, then make your own mind up. I've never been disappointed, always enjoyed and happy to pick up the phone. shame it didn't suit the odd one or two. Still got four and a half stars, so not that terrible ehh?

One of my favourite take aways around Loughton would recommend to anyone A++++ Great food freshly cooked and served.

Ordered numerous dishes which lacked true essence of Thai cuisine. The curries have a watery texture and lacks the essential coconut taste of thai. The Thai fish cakes were rubbery and had no flavour, however the soups perhaps were the better dishes.

Having recently gotten into eating Thai. Rather than getting the usual takeaway, we opted for a Thai. I’ve known about this, tiny little Thai for a long time and always assumed it must do well to have been going for this time..pick up time was the usual sort of time for a takeaway on a Friday night. Was impressed with each dish we had ( we had quite a lot!). Felt fresh and not greasy. To start I felt the green Thai was a little bland but the more I ate, the more the flavour seemed to come through. Pad Thai, spring rolls and the satay were all very good and I will defo be getting more takeaways from here.

Good friendly service and good fresh food. My chicken skewers were generous and delicious. My Pad Thai Chicken was lovely and the salad was just how I like it, mild. I am so pleased they asked me if I wanted it mild or hot, as I didn't know they made these hot! The fish cakes were a little rubbery may have been a little over cooked. They said it would be delivered in around 50 mins, it was just under the time given. They also have a top food hygiene rating of 5 which is higher than some other top rated restaurants in the Loughton. So welldone!

This little gem on our doorstep delicious food and only a few minutes away I regularly use this place as I love it fresh Thai food does not disappoint every time.

I've never been overly keen on Thai food, my wife's favourite, but I would normally go more Chinese given the choice, BUT, The Phetrin has made me a convert. Their food is excellent whatever dishes you order. I have been more tempted to try a few other of their dishes each time we order. Wonderful flavours and plenty of choice and very generous portions. I went to collect the last order for a change and got 10% off! Happy days. It worked out extremely reasonable and try as I may, there was quite a bit left over. Highly recommended in all aspects. Just make sure you have a bottle or two of a decent white in the fridge to compliment your Thai experience at home. ขอขอบคุณ

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal this evening! Traditional Thai Food cooked fresh to order. I would recommend the Panang Chicken Curry, Beef Salad and Hoi Manlanpu (Mussels in chilli sauce) also love the sticky chicken wings delicious. We sat in tonight but you can also order for takeaway delivery or collection. 5*

Ordered for a group of 6 - friendly and accommodating service. Food was delivered at my door at the precise time. The food is authentically Thai - Fresh, tasty and pleasantly satisfied every single of us. Cannot rate it highly enough!

Totally inauthentic food and tasteless and left both my wife and I queasy hours later (and I have a cast iron stomach). Avoid at all costs.

Literally just been to pick up a takeaway for family and friends and we ordered at 7pm and we were told 1 hour. We arrived at 8pm and it wasn't yet ready so we waited and was there until 845 pm and it was still not ready . When challenged , the staff got very aggressive and we asked for a discount because of the delay. We were told no and they also said they are happy for us not to come back again. We use this place all the time but will never come back. Avoid at all costs. Terrible service and attitude .

Great food, tasty and fresh. Will cook to taste useful if you do not like your Thai too spicy, like me. Friendly and efficient service.

Tuvimos una comida tailandesa deliciosa Phetrin esta noche a, bien fresco y sabroso pollo y carne de pollo al curry Masaman. Ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestras comidas y es un lugar agradable y amable. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera. Buena relación calidad-precio también. Es demasiado pequeño para comer en fines principalmente hacer para llevar, pero vale la pena una visita.

Yo uso Phetrins al menos una vez a la semana, la comida es fabulosa siempre caliente. Personal Ed y el Nid es sociable y te hacen sentir muy bienvenidos. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Guau... Este restaurante tailandés para llevar en Loughton es fabuloso. La comida es siempre fresca, caliente y delicioso. Es muy popular, así que pedir temprano en un sábado por la noche. Comida hermosa tailandesa.

ñam ñam ñam! Hemos estado aquí un par de veces y probamos diferentes platos y siempre ha sido totalmente impresionada. Gran cantidad de sabores y el tamaño de las porciones!

fantásticamente aromatizados comida fresca. Las raciones son enormes, especialmente el arroz que es fácilmente lo suficiente para dos personas para compartir. Una buena opción de menú. No cabe duda de que pedir otra llevar pronto!

This is a regular eating house for us.It is now take away only which is a shame as it had a good sit down eating area though small.The food is always ready when they say it will be and always to a high standard. The menu is a bit limited but everything we have had from it impressed.There are dishes on the menu that I have not seen anywhere else.Take away Thai in Loughton - this is the only place for us.
