The Fox and Hounds in Huntingdonshire

We came off the A14 after being stuck in traffic. Tired and hungry we were met with a warm welcome from staff and the local visitors. Nice little bar with a log fire and another fire burning in the restaurant area. The food was amazing. I enjoyed the Thai duck. Very reasonable price. Thank you!

So start with the service which was second to none then on to the food OMG it was gorgeous all members of our party enjoyed what they had and said the flavours were poppin the heat was just right added to all this the price was spot on. Will definatly be returning and will be passing on how good it is to others.

Sat outside in the sun eating our family lunch perfect service and food as always delicious. The people here are so warm and welcoming even putting up the bouncy castle for our little granddaughter.

This is a fun spot in the country for drinks and dinner with friends. during this time if your. The hosts are incredibly friendly and fun. The food was nothing I have ever had in a pub before and It was a tasty surprised. Flavours, presentation were 5 start. The garden and layout were perfect for groups of people. I would definitely recommend and be going again.

First time visit but will definitely be back. Authentic Thai food that was delicious. Probably the best Thai Platter we’ve ever had. The mains were as good. Duck in Hoisin and Sizzling beef with jasmine rice. Highly recommended.

Lovely mothers day lunch. Excellent and friendly and considerate service by the landlord and team. Great selection of both Thai and "pub" menu suitable for all. Even provided my small boy with the requested 12 nuggets. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we'll definitely be visiting again.

First visit to the place, considering I have lived within 5 miles of it for half a century. A most enjoyable Sunday lunch the food was excellent as was the service from the wonderful staff. Will be back.

Excellent buffet for 42 people. Good variety of sandwiches, platters etc. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Walked to the pub after quickly deciding we had earned a night out. Sat next to the fire in The Fox and Hounds and ordered a yummy gin and Estrella for my hubby. Great vibe in the bar area and the aroma of delicious food made us realise we were very hungry. We relocated in to the restaurant area and ordered some delicious prawns in a tamarind sauce which was a taste sensation along with a divine chicken curry.

What a treasure this pub is. Beautiful rural location, I’m the heart of the village. Wonderful Thai food and a very warm welcome for everyone. Well worth a visit and highly recommend.

Starter was lovely, I had the calamari with a lovely spicy chutney. My daughter had the butternut and sweet potato soup which she loved. For mains we had the cheese and bacon burger which my daughter enjoyed and I wanted the fillet steak but 19:00hrs on a Friday evening there wasn’t any and so I had to pay an extra £7 for a rib eye which to be honest was a little tough even though it was rare. It came with chips and three cherry tomatoes and two slivers of courgette and a bit of rocket to accompany it. How about some seasonal vegetables? So all in all, over priced, average and I’ve actually had better at Frankie and Benny’s and that’s saying something Just to kill the evening there was no cheese on the desert menu.

Had the most delicious meal last night. My starter was a delicious duck pate with a spicy chutney. Followed by huge breaded prawns with rice in a tamarind sauce. Pinot Grigio was so lovely and chilled we sat by an open fire in lovely surroundings.

I went with my husband today to the Fox and Hounds at Longthorpe. Our waiter was Andy and nothing was too much trouble for him! We asked if we could move table to sit by the window and he said no problem but let me clear and clean it first. He was attentive when serving the food and later checked everything was ok for us. We had a lovely meal, brilliant service and good atmosphere. Thanks Andy.

We visited for the Mothers Day brunch and found the food and service to be exceptional. Ivun and Louis were both very friendly, welcoming our dog and bringing him some water as soon as we arrived. The food was delicious, everything was cooked perfectly and incredibly good value. Would recommend.

Food was very nice, far better than similarly priced local pubs. Chef Matt did himself proud! Service was unusually under par this evening. Wondering if they were understaffed but just felt a little less bothered than usual altho apologetic and polite.

Lovely meal at the fox and hounds celebrating my 50th wedding anniversary with my wife and family. Staff are very welcoming, especially Andy and Louis who served us all night. The food was delicious and an overall cosy and warming environment. Will definitely be returning

Me and my partner had a wonderful date night with good food and our server Andy was top notch he attended to our every need and took very good care of us five out of five stars we will be coming back thank you Andy

We were a group of 5 adults and 2 children. We had the sharing platter for starters, which was lovely, but was easily a medium single portion. Lovely lovely ribs though, probably the best I’ve ever had. I had Pad Thai for my main which was ok, and then the Eton mess for afters was lush! Kids meals were very good portion sizes. We had a lovely evening, and would definitely return.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips, with a fantastic vegetarian option of battered halloumi, cooked to perfection. Cosy pub with great service. Highly recommended.

I was taken here for dinner when I was visiting my parents. I wasn't expecting much-- I had been told it was thai, but I have been in 'thai' pubs in the past that were distinctly substandard. This one was incredible though. I had the seafood special, and was delighted when the sizzling plates were brought out, piled high with noodles mixed with ample and varied seafood-- mussels, squid and fish with crunchy veg and chilli. It was on the spicy end of hot, but wasn't packed with heat for heat's sake: it still managed to be aromatic and loaded with flavour. And it was topped with three gigantic mussels in their shells. I finished with an equally generous portion of Eaton Mess, which was the perfect ending. And finally, the bill was much less than I anticipated. The service was welcoming, friendly and discreet. I would absolutely recommend travelling to experience this excellent restaurant.

Our meal for 6 on Saturday night was excellent. A warm welcome at the bar, attentive service at the table, good choice on the menu. The Thai food was particularly exceptional. The pub was full of happy people and lots of diners. We have been before and will definitely visit again. Well done Mine Hosts.

Eight of us visited the Fox and Hounds last night for dinner and It was an excellent meal . Everything was beautifully cooked , piping hot and very tasty . A special mention for the duck which was superb . Staff were all very friendly and a comfortable place to spend an evening. Will definitely be back

First time dining here. Best food I've had out in along time. Had Pad Thai, one of my favourite dishes and it was stunning. Great atmosphere, excellent service, clean and well presented pub/restaurant. Will definatley return. Highly recommend for families/kids/couples. Lovely choice of Thai dishes along side pub favourites and a good choice for kids. Excellent value for money!!

We are regular visitors to the Fox and booked and got a very good table for Sunday Lunch. There was a steady trade but by no means a full restaurant. The food was of the usual high standard but sadly the service let it down. Our visit took over 3 hours for only our mains and desserts!

We visited Fox and Hound three times over a month while visiting the Peterborough area. The food was consistently great every visit. Best fish n chips we had in the UK. Batter was thin and crispy and fish fresh and flakey. Full bar (although don't order a martini - not a drink they know at all) and the dessert list is worth the indulging.
