Freshly made Thai food served to a very standard. All the staff are friendly and very hard working. We will definitely return. Teignmouth is lucky to have this little gem here.

Omg what an amazing restaurant. The food was fantastic, so tasty and great value for money. It was a lovely clean restaurant and the staff were so lovely and helpful. A definite must if your in Teignmouth and I can't wait to come back.

Worse thia, someone in a vest helping out with service, he took used cutlery off our plate and put them on the table for the next dish. Not a nice place, certainly a cafe not a restaurant. We love thia food and have ate at a lot of thia restaurants, that was the worst.

Fantastic food and value for money, cooked by the smiliest person in Teignmouth. It has been great every time we have been. Freshly cooked, served in a friendly setting.

This is a delightful restaurant run by lovely people. We arrived for our booking at 7.00pm and were warned that things were running a little slowly as only one chef was working that night. We ordered and starters arrived one by one which suited us as we were sharing, there was a bit of a wait for the mains but we had brought two bottles of wine with us so a chat and drink the time soon passed. The wait was worth it the food is freshly cooked and very good, Thank you Thai Smile we will return

Absolutely terrible experience. Ordered food, and the starters turned up quite quickly, but then things went downhill from there, the mains started to appear, apart from mine, I asked twice when mine was likely to come, and was told it was on the way, meanwhile I had to send the rice back because it had gone cold and gloopy, and my 6 friends had almost finished their meals. Decided enough was enough and walked out. First and only time I have been there.

What awesome food! I had the green curry with prawns, lovely. You take your own drinks if you want to which is a great idea. Why pay the same amount of money for the rubbish food they chuck out at spoons? You can just go there after for a cheap drink instead. The service was very good to, the staff actually know about the food and menu etc which sadly these days is very often not the case. We will defo be going back here.

Down from London for a visit to Teignmouth. Found this gem. Lovely place, small but charming. Understandably booked up for dinner so got a take away Food was excellent. Can’t fault it in any way. Tasty and very reasonably priced. Staff all lovely, will definitely be back next time I’m visiting. People in this town are very lucky to have this place.

Nice homely place. Authentic style. We had tempura prawn starter and chicken satay starter, both good. For mains, sweet and sour chicken, very good, red thai curry chicken and red thai veg curry. Both good, but a touch spicy. Prices reasonable and you can take your own drink. Cash only

Visited on a Thursday early evening. Lovely friendly welcome and helpful advice re menu. We ordered spring rolls to start which were as good as I’ve ever tasted. For mains sweet & sour chicken & chicken mi tai both of which were delicious. We took our own wine and enjoyed a great time, will return soon!!

What an amazing cafe. Just what Teignmouth needs. Beautiful food, lovely environment. Wonderful people! We can absolutely recommend their £10 lunch. All freshly cooked. Select from one of four options - all include spring roll starter and a soft drink. You won’t be disappointed!!

First visit and very impressed. Great service. Food really good and freshly cooked. Husband had prawn starter and was very impressed. I had spring rolls which were lovely and home made. Mains great too. Very good value for money and large portions. Restaurant full so lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return. Front of house lady was excellent. Remember need to pay cash and bring own alcohol.

Never had a genuine Thai Meal! I was a little apprehensive but with help of the staff and friends I had a brilliant curry. It was well cooked, well presented and very tasty. Excellent

Teignmouth needs more little eateries like this one! The food was lovely & reasonably priced plus the staff were great & very friendly. We will definitely be going back, I would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment!

Four of us came for dinner on a Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately we booked because the place, all be it small was buzzing. We had heard good reports so we had high hopes and were not dissapointed. The service, food, ambience and price were all excllent. This restaurant is not licenced but you can bring your own wine/beer and there is no corkage fee. I hope none of the above changes. One point to note is the place looks like a cafe from the outside but is surprisingly comfortable and cosy when inside. This cafe/restaurant is a lovely addition to Teignmouth, we will be back again soon.

A wonderful atmosphere created by Nar the owner who certainly puts the “smile” into the name. We have been for two birthday meals enjoyed by everybody in the groups. The starters and the mains are all freshly cooked and very tasty. This can lead to delays in service but take your own wine to enjoy while you wait and it won’t matter. The cafe is not yet licensed and it is cash only. No sophistication here. Oh what a refreshing change.

Lovely evening with family - food was fresh, excellent quality and great value. The service was also fantastic. We tried to visit again during our stay in Teignmouth though the restaurant was sadly fully booked……no surprise!
