Lily at Banks Road in Wirral

Great food, great service and an enjoyable night out. My friend who wasn’t keen on Thai food from previous experience loved it. We shared chicken pad Thai and the massaman curry. It was delicious xx 👏👏

Came here for a wedding, it was wonderful. The staff were lovely and the food was so delicious and well priced. I have rated lower than I would have because I am a wheelchair user and could not use the toilet as they are not wheelchair accessible. The toilets need to have widened doors, transfer space and the ability to enter the toilet in a wheelchair and close the door behind yourself. The angles of the entry points into the bathroom and cubicles meant that it was impossible for me to even enter the bathroom. Unfortunately I had to leave the wedding party early as a result. Once this issue is rectified I would return though, as the food and service was great.

We were recommended this restaurant and I'd been waiting several months to find a date to try it with family. The food itself was good quality Thai food, the limited menu only emphasising the freshness of what is served. The food portions were smaller than I expected for the price (particularly the prawn crackers and the curries, which though had plenty of sauce had hardly any vegetables). I'm not sure if the unusual crockery made the portions seem smaller, though it was nice to see the food well-presented on interesting plates. The young and inexperienced serving staff meant our experience unfortunately was not enjoyable overall. They were inattentive, brought orders out to diners who had arrived after us before us, took our food order incorrectly and didn't bring enough cutlery for the dishes when the right food did arrive. We were clearly disappointed by the service which was only exacerbated by seeing other tables around us having a lovely time.

This is a hidden gem in west Kirby. Best Thai on the Wirral 100% and one of the best I have had to be honest. Great staff and quality food

Attended with my girlfriend on our 4th anniversary. We had previously heard good things about the place from friends and family. It didn’t disappoint. We ordered the sharing platter for starter which is very tasty and the duck and massaman curry for main. Staff were fantastic, good selection of drinks and was not particularly expensive. Will visit again.

We went twice to this lovely, friendly restaurant whilst working at The Open. The best Thai meal I've ever had. Excellent service and very quick. Met Lily the owner and she was soooo friendly. I will be back!

This is the best Thai food we have had outside of Thailand. It took us back to our holiday 3 months ago. Amazing Thai red curry. This is the best Thai restaurant I have been to in the UK. Would I recommend - absolutely.

Visited Lily’s after a recommendation from a friend. What a delight! Staff were fantastic, welcoming, smiling and helpful. We don’t eat meat but there was plenty on the menu for us. We started with tempura vegetables & vegetable spring rolls, both dishes were delicious. Tofu Green Thai curry & a tofu Messoman curry were both delicious. First visit for us but will definitely not be our last, you can order & pick up meals too so again, something we will be doing. Lily’s at Banks Road is our new favourite place to eat.

We went to try this restaurant on Saturday night and oh wow what an amazing experience! Amazing authentic Thai food which was absolutely delicious served by great staff, i must say service was excellent. We cant wait to come back :) thank you everyone at Lilys!

What a lovely little restaurant that serves gorgeous Thai food from a relatively small menu big on taste and quality. The service was exceptionally friendly polite and efficient. The cost of meals and drinks et cetera is very reasonable and exceptional value. It was a lovely meal and we look forward to coming again

We went to Lily’s Thai for the first time as a group of 7 for a birthday in January. We had heard good things and were all so impressed! The food was delicious, drinks menu was good, the atmosphere was great - really good for a birthday group, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered a good spread of the starters and varied main meals and everyone was really pleased with their food. (We even left a belonging behind and the staff offered to drop it off at someone’s house for us!) We’ll definitely be back!

Left waiting by the door and ignored by staff until I approached them. Everything slow with one on the bar and one serving. Both seemed to constantly look at the floor with only way to get attention to wave and shout. Almost impossible to get a drink. The food is ok in a rustic Thai way. Choice of only 2 reds and 2 whites. Not sure why you would give such a narrow selection? Cold in the restaurant so ate with coats on. They have been there long enough to do better than this. Had tried to go on other occasions but phone rang a long time and someone picked it up and immediately put it down. As I was waiting for a drink I noticed the barman was enjoying his! Would not go again. Sorry would love it to have been good.

We had a lovely meal here a few weeks ago with our friends We shared mixed starters and then I had prawn pad Thai which was delicious, other meals were sizzling steak, red chicken curry and a prawn dish We all enjoyed our food The restaurant was very busy so I would suggest booking, there was a lovely atmosphere and the service was great We will definitely return

Have been to lillys several times. Lilly and the staff are always so welcoming. I have tasted different cuisine from around the world.and my Absolute favourite isThai food and without doubt in this fine established the food is up there with the very best I've ever tasted, my particular favourite meal is the pad grapow with jasmine rice which is a truelly 5star meal!!. They also offer a great drinks selection, with a great vibrant atmosphere in the restaurant. Restaurant is open wed, Thurs, Fri and Saturday and is often very busy so would strongly recommend to book early. 100% Highly recommended..

I love Thai food but often find I am underwhelmed when I have it. And then Lily’s opened locally in Aest Kirby and it is the best Thai I have had in the U.K. by a long shot. We’ve had take out twice and eaten in once - hot, freshly cooked, delicious food. Looking forward to our next visit!

Can't believe we've not been here before and we love Thai food. What a lovely place. We shared a couple of starters, the salt & pepper Halloumi with crispy kale was amazing. We had three different mains and three different rice/noodles and tried them all. There was so much food. All piping hot and fresh. Amazing flavours. Staff were friendly and attentive and were able to answer any questions regarding the menu. This will become our new go to place. Thank you Lily
