Really really nice fish and chips! Service was super friendly, reasonably priced and freshly cooked fish and chips. My only improvement would be to give a more accurate waiting time

Very tasty and not at all greasy, I stopped in this fish and chip place while I was at work for a quick lunched very friendly and polite staff and very clean deffo recommend

This is a busy fish and chip shop, serving freshly fried food to a very high standard, the staff are friendly and work hard to make sure the ever present queue is served. The portions are large, but I would recommend purchasing a box for your food. There is car parking at the rear of the building.

I have been going to Greengates Fisheries over 40 years because I think it's the best fish shop in Bradford

Just picked up some dinner on the way home, the owners were absolutely lovely, really welcoming and super accommodating! The cod was lovely and flaky, chips & battered sausage were yummy and my daughter gives a massive thumbs up to the nuggets :) even though we had to get a bus home and walk, the food was still piping hot when we got in. Will definitely be going back, thank you!

I thought the 1 star spoke for itself but obviously not, thought I’d try this place as heard good things, paid for peas and curry both missing when I got home and didn’t rate the food, 5 people ate with me and no one said it was good..just said it was ok, me and another in the group bin’d it. So that’s the reason

I would use more often but it’s cash only and I don’t always have cash on me. Nice fish, freshly cooked, chips are chips but overall it’s a decent chippy.

Great food, friendly staff and good service. However, the seating was very cramped. Despite all of our table being of normal BMI we could literally only get one buttock on the bench. Thankfully a party of four on another table cancelled at short notice so we moved. This also helped the others on the table that we moved to. Recommendation: reduce the number of people per table or put a chair at each end of the table thereby taking two bums off the benches.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic & the most amazing food. In fact it’s the best food we have had out. Highly recommend
