This is a busy fish and chip shop, serving freshly fried food to a very high standard, the staff are friendly and work hard to make sure the ever present queue is served. The portions are large, but I would recommend purchasing a box for your food. There is car parking at the rear of the building.

Just moved into the area so first time trying this place. The fish and chips was excellent couldn't find any fault. Staff are kind and friendly. Will definitely frequent this fish and chip shop again.

My favourite place for chips, very reasonable prices and extremely friendly staff, always chatting with customers. I love their food! All the fish is cooked to order and is hearty and delicious, you should definitely make this your regular chippy!

Fish & Chip Heaven! Just like from my childhood in Lincolnshire, so pleased there are still traditional places like this around, no nonsense just great simple food. As I live far away now when I'm visiting I love to try different chippy's and I think this must be the best in Lincolnshire!!!

Fantastic! Picked up fish & chips, gravy, chips, mushy peas, & cheese & onion fry ups which were new to us but my friend was blown away by. All super fresh. I'm not a big fan of chips generally but I do like chips & mushy peas now & again - these were outstanding! His fish was HUGE & tonnes of chips under it & lots of 'scraps' he asked for too - this was new to me also but he was in his element. Super friendly staff too. What a gem of a find.Food families all round after this lot feet up big mugs of tea & a snooze.. - This will be my friend's new local chippy.... 🤔 Jealous! 🤣

Really nice service from the ladies behind the counter. Fish was cooked to order from entering the shop. Fish and chips cooked very nicely and more than enough for the both of us. So easy when there us a car park just behind the shop (just a bit further up the road to Tesco and a quick left turn). And if you think you might struggle to open the door to get in, they have that covered too.

A great place for Fish and Chips. Food always taste great and is hot. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Due to food being so great there is always a large queue of people but staff are super quick so you never wait long. Highly recommend .

Lovely for a lazy saturday dinner.We have never tried from here before so we thought we would give them a try. There is always a queue outside when we pass on a weekend ,and that is usually a good advert! A big carpark at the back so sat in the car and ate them (we are always prepared wit vinegar salt and forks),so we are always prepared for such visits. We will definatley have them again.

I was having a very bad day when I called late on in their opening hours to grab something to eat. The ladies cooking and serving cheered me up immediately with their 'can do' approach and friendly chat. The fish and chips were ace, and freshly cooked, too!

Fantastic food, I've both worked in a Fish and chip shop and been to many; it's one of my favourite things to eat and the food has been out of this world every time. The food is flawless and miles better than other Fish and chip shops! Both my family and friends talk about this chip shop and how amazing it is. To top it all off the service is absolutely fantastic, if I had to go to one Fish and chip shop for the rest of my life it would definitely be this one. Also they were on the ball with allergy requirements and that has been reassuring right from the beginning. I would have taken a picture but I ate the food too fast, happens every time.

Best Chip shop in Mkt Rasen, the staff are brilliant.

I've travelled a lot across the country and this is undoubtedly one of the best fish and chip shops I've ever been to. You can tell the chips and fish are freshly prepared, the potatoes are carefully prepared and all the black bits and blight are removed. The chips are absolutely delicious and I also love the fish, homemade fishcake, curry and gravy.

This chip shop is THE best I have ever tasted, and always has been, they never disapoint and the ladies are all so fab. X

I am so lucky to live within walking distance of this establishment. The staff are lovely and jolly. There is no plastic in the packaging and I am able to recycle most of the paper.

We visited market Rasen, renting a house just outside the town. Decided we wanted fish and chips Saturday evening and found this lovely fish and cup shop. The ladies were very friendly and helpful. The fish was fried fresh to order and was very tasty. Highly recommend if you visit this town

Was told about this place a long time ago but it is only in the past few weeks that we have used it up to trying this place our favourite chippy was silverstreet fisheries in whitby but I can honestly say that oxford street fish and chips are just as good and the staff are very friendly I don't have to travel 125 miles anymore just 20 minutes these are the best in Lincolnshire

This shop picked up an award in 2018, and by the quality of the fish and chips today it was well deserved. A decent size box of fish and chips was £6-50. It was cooked to order very well. Worth a visit if you pass through Market Rasen.

A small family run chippy that's only open in the evening 5pm until 8pm they only keep chips and sauces on hand other food like fish scampy fish cakes chicken nuggets and pies have to be ordered on arrival. But it's well worth the wait

It may have been voted Lincolnshire's best fish and chip shop and yes, they are very good. But have made the journey in from a nearby village on several occasions to find they have run out of fish! And we're not talking late night here - this was around 6pm on Friday and Saturday nights. To run out of fish on the odd occasion is excusable - if they were busier than usual. But when it happens regularly it gets tiresome - why can't they just order in more fish? I won't be bothering again - there's another fish & chip shop in MR that is nearly as good - and at least they always have fish.

We are here visiting friends in Middle Rasen . We have not been to England for 15 years. THE BEST fish and chips we have ever had in our lives was at Oxford Street Fisheries. They are STILL there, the SAME family owns it, and once again, they have not disappointed Us! It saddens me that someone would give them a "one star" rating because "they ran out of fish". That person stated that they brought the whole family for fish and chips, so obviously it is good. Awesome place, GO if you get a chance!! You will not be disappointed.

The BEST chippy around Rasen (if not further)!!! The staff are very friendly and polite, can have a good laugh with them! Personally i couldn't eat the fish from any of the other local chippys.My mum has a sensitive stomach and becomes ill after eating from any other local fish and chip shops... Says a lot 😂!
