Llamé para el desayuno después de leer las críticas y básicamente desearía no haberme molestado. Tienen un cartel fuera del desayuno publicitario por £ 5. 95 . Para cuando nos llegó la factura habíamos gastado 21 libras ya que el precio no incluye una bebida (a diferencia de todos los otros cafés de la zona ) y no incluye pan o tostadas (a diferencia de todos los demás cafés de la zona ) el desayuno tradicional dice que incluye una rebanada de pan frito pero la realidad es que es media rebanada de. La comida era Luke cálido y no vale la pena el dinero en absoluto. Mi consejo es encontrar el lindale y tomar un desayuno de mejor calidad a un precio que vale la pena pagar Como probablemente adivinas no volveremos

What a charming delightful place. Our suite with terrace was perfect. Clean, spacious, sumptuous bedding and amazing facilities. We had a delicious supper and were royally looked after by Rachel and Mel. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Thank you so much Fairlight Cove

Debería hacer justicia aquí y volver a evaluar la calidad del pescado aquí. Anteriormente he revisado este lugar un par de veces a lo largo de los años y ha habido aciertos y fallos. Puede que esta vez tenga suerte de disfrutar de mis fish & chips, pero espero que mantengan esta calidad constante. Hice un comentario que el pescado estaba demasiado fino cortado y la masa era demasiado gruesa en mi última revisión. Parecían haber trabajado en ello y esta vez, el pescado estaba mucho mejor. No estoy seguro de si tengo un pequeño apetito (que no lo creo) pero nunca puedo lograr terminar las papas fritas aquí, que es muy espeso y lleno. Además, como todos sabemos, los precios aquí reflejan la prima de estar en Harrod's, sentado cómodamente y bien cuidado. La gente no solo viene aquí por el fish & chips, es porque tienen compras y otras actividades. El mercado de fish & chips en Londres es tan competitivo. En el pasado ha habido problemas en este lugar (tanto la comida como la actitud de servicio) pero creo que esta vez, merecían un notch up. No me gustaría que son excepcionales, pero en general la experiencia y la comodidad le da un 4 estrellas aquí, siendo parte de la experiencia de la Harrod, que uno esperará que sea MUY caro!

Esto solía ser un chippy local lo suficientemente decente, pero en el último año aproximadamente, posiblemente debido al cambio en la gestión, la calidad de los alimentos se ha deteriorado gravemente y al mismo tiempo que los precios han aumentado. Ya no se recomienda tristemente.

Chips tasted like they had been reheated several times, sausage wasn’t cooked!!! Man very rude, and lady serving needed to wash her hands!!!! Short changed us too! Will defo not be going back

We have used Basingstoke Fish & Chips numerous times and it has mostly been good, however, on a recent occasion, we ordered 3 x meals on a Tuesday evening for delivery which took over 90 minutes to arrive and when it did, it was stone cold and mostly inedible. We contacted them straight away to share this information and we were told that if we had an issue, we had to take it up with Just Eat!

Very rude owner and terrible food that's if it ever turns up? Go elsewhere!!!last week got our order wrong waiting 2 hours before food turned up, this week order been over 2 hours again! always get told 30-45mins BS Getting pi**ed off with these time wasters will be ordering else where :(Musa the current owner has no idea about customer service was very rude when we spoke on the phone about our food being wrong and very late told use to go elsewhere then! WOW.... SO we sent it back as they NOT the only takeaway in the bay!

10/10, perfectly cooked chicken shish with a home made chilli sauce. Fresh cut chips not frozen. Very tasty chicken all freshly coated and cooked. Hard to beat this place

I returned to this spot around 20 years after first coming and remembering how nice it was. Has definitely changed but still great seafood, and probably a bit more comfortable! The setting is great, in the harbour and the views from some of the tables are really lovely. You can make up your own seafood platter which was good value - the fresh mackerel was absolutely delicious, and we also had a fishcakes which was probably the nicest fishcake I’ve ever had. No kids menu but our children loved the fish and chips and mussels. Friendly staff and very cosy interior. Would definitely return.

Tasty grilled wild halibut. Accompanying house wine and salad were lovely too. Sophisticated pleasant atmosphere. Great for family dining.

Small portion sizes, items missed when ordering via delivery sites, doesn’t read notes, first time trying this place and will be last.

I waited for 40 minutes in the queue. Most of it outside in the rain. When I got home, they had forgot my mushy peas, the fish was very below par and the chips were pale and awful. Very disappointing, especially on Good Friday.
