Basingstoke Fish & Chips in Basingstoke and Deane

We have used Basingstoke Fish & Chips numerous times and it has mostly been good, however, on a recent occasion, we ordered 3 x meals on a Tuesday evening for delivery which took over 90 minutes to arrive and when it did, it was stone cold and mostly inedible. We contacted them straight away to share this information and we were told that if we had an issue, we had to take it up with Just Eat!

Properly one of the worst fish and chips I have ever seen grease sloppy awful slimmy full of grease I work hard for mymoney26.00 which would have been better spent

The fish and chips were very salty and greasy here. More greasy than your average fast food pizza. Would not recommend.

Ordered mozzarella sticks, fish, chips, and sausage which were all extremely salty. Would nor recommend this place.

Absolutely superb had a delivery very hot on deliver had haddock chips and saveloy cooked to perfection chips perfect could not fault 5*****

Not sure why the Gazette didn't include this one in there list of the best Fish and Chips in Basingstoke. Ordered from here again over the weekend for collection and still amazing. I had the Haddock, Standard Chips (Large Chips are HUGE) and a curry sauce. YUMMY

OH man had fish and chips delivered. Considering I live a good 10 minutes away it was amazing. Tried the Burger and the cod Fantastic.

Tonight was the second time I've ordered from here. It arrives hot ( not very hot but better than some takeaways) and the portions are massive. The pictures show standard cod and standard chips. Too much for one person really but very tasty. The chips are cooked, golden, proper chippy chips and there is hardly any grease on the paper when you unwrap the fish which is always a good sign. Im.not a lover of batter but if you do like batter its lovely and crispy and the fish is flaky and not dry. Not a fan of curry sauce but that was more to make it up to min order value. Lastly I had a deep fried Mars bar for the first time. Like I said not a batter fan but the novelty factor got me and yes its pretty tasty. Definitely recommend ordering from here.

Decided to try Basingstoke Fish and Chips this evening with their delivery service. Service from start to finish brilliant early delivery and really hot generous portions price very reasonable, I would really recommend these guys!! Thankyou!

Visited the Golden Lion pub for a drink and found Basingstoke Fish and Chips runs out there kitchen, ordered their Cod and chips with mushy peas. You certainly can't won't be disappointed with portion size, and with that size still comes great quality. it was perfect and what a gem to find in a pub I will certainly be back
