Ordered large chicken Shish kebab. Person asked again what I wanted 5 minutes later. Was given chicken shawarma. Was really salty, greasy and inedible. Very disappointing for my local kebab takeaway.

Had the chicken, pieces were large , fresh cooked and tasted great. Shop.looked clean and tidy. Service was friendly and efficient

If you'd like to avoid FOOD POISONING avoid this place. The fish itself was bad enough to eat. The batter was about as thick as a pancake and equally light. The after effects of the fish are best to be avoided.

Excellent food. I had chicken and wedges and was totally satisfied with the quality and quantity. Great service with a smile and a chat. Friendly for families and revellers. Great choice on the menu. Everything is grilled in front of you. Cleanliness was great. Would highly recommend

Had a large mixed kebab. All aspects of it were hot and tasty. A good sized portion as well. Only let down was sauce was supposed to be served separate and was not.

Called in here after a boat trip this evening , I already knew it was cash only from reviews which you should ignore !! The food was freshly cooked in front of us 9”pizza was spot on and the meat and chips very tasty , to me these guys look like their working extremely hard , they all had great attitudes towards us no problems what so ever, wish I was here longer to try more food in there.

The greasiest food we’ve ever had. Donner meat and chicken shawarma kebab was swimming in grease and tasted awful! Chicken nuggets and chip were okay, garlic mayo was nice. Pizza was edible and the chicken and chips was extremely salty! Disappointed and won’t be ordering again. We’ve had better food on the BBQ all week

Good kebab but owner needs some integrity training! Doesn’t take card and tried to overcharge us by an extra kebab…then tried to justify this but saying that we would pay more for fish and chips, not the point! It was a great chicken kebab - not cheap at £8.80 for a small chicken kebab - but the homemade chilli sauce was really good and all well cooked. It would put me going back there due to the owner’s shenanigans.

Bit dodgy/shifty bloke running it. Ordered food for 5 of us. Told no card payment- yeah right I wonder why - HMRC reasons lol. Then he told how much the bill was - 5 of us having the same thing so easy for us to work out. The bill was around 20% more than we worked out. We queried it and immediately the guy said ‘ok it’s actually not that much (what!?) it’s less than I said but it’s still cheaper than fish and chips”. That’s not the point. Don’t try to rip people off. He tried to sweet talk us with some free chips after that lol. He is obviously sneakily trying to overcharge - at £9 for a small chicken kebab, it’s not cheap anyway, and that’s before he has added on the sneaky surcharge. Very rude man. Food was ok. Check your bill and pay by card or ask for a vat receipt! I see other people did manage to pay by card…

Absolute disgusted how I was spoken to by one of the men behind the counter. I had ordered my food and pod card and then when the rest of our family ordered he said they only take card. And insisted arguing with me and trying to make out I hadn’t paid by card. Then a young lad came in to order and he asked to pay card and was told he could. Absolute shocking customer services.

i went there with my family yesterday night and it was an overall all-great experience the service was a 10/10 they were friendly and nice, and super affordable, especially the food was spectacular they've really upped their game since I last visited a couple of years ago would 100% recommend to anyone out there will 100% be going back

ordered £20 food for delivery. Didnt recieve food, refund, or apology. They said they tried to deliver but no answer. Absolute rubbish. Total theives.

Ordered a pizza Hawaiian 12” cost £11.20 (asked for x3 extra toppings of sweetcorn / red onion and Mushrooms) the total bill was £19 they had the cheek to rip me off for an extra £7.80 for a sprinkle of 3 toppings. Fuming - took the pizza and when i opened it was just a garbage looking one you could bought across the road (tesco facing) for a £5 tesco pizza. The staff dont look like they are hygienic at all. Avoid these rip off cowboys at all costs you been warned

Brixham grill has been slacking recently, the lady who answers the phone is normally rude, the delivery drivers are also so rude. They have obviously got new ingredients in because the quality is no where near as nice (and if wasn’t great before anyway) Orders are normally wrong or drinks forgotten. Too many times we’ve had to ring back for something they forgot, even one of they’re drivers told my partner that they’ve been driving all over the place fixing mistakes. On top of this got a burger last night with nothing inside it, just two dry buns and some chkn even tho I asked for lettuce and mao. Won’t be going here again, would recommend you go doughys instead, same stuff, better value.

ordered using the Just Eat App to my B&B had a vegetable supreme pizza and Greek Salad. Both came on time and tasted good. Only thing the Greek salad leaked and missing olives and herbs needed bit more cucumber and tomatoes. Overall nice evening meal 😋

Wow! Ordered during the pandemic. Ordered small kebab, margherita pizza with extra mushrooms and sweet corn plus sides. Food arrived very fast and hot and fresh. Tasted delicious. Very impressed. Will order again 😁

Ordered a Doner Kebab...it was Discusting in fact I found it inedible. I've had a couple from here before and they've not been too bad....but also ordered cheesy chips and they were not cooked properly and the garlic sauce didnt come with the order so I clicked for a refund for the sauce but it was rejected and they bought it up 40 mins later by that we decided to throw the food away as it was gross.

My girlfriend ordered from here tonight, cost £17 and the gateau showed up frozen, for £3.60 We wasn’t expecting it frozen, I rang up and they said they couldn’t do anything about it and that was it. Afterwards didn’t end up wanting any of the meal, my dad rang up basically saying about the gateau again and ended up making them send a cooked one up ( actually wanted to just get a refund but alas dads are stupid and think they know best), then when the delivery lady showed up to deliver it she had a face like you’d just shot her puppy and had a rude tone! Lighten up, tbh unless your gonna go into the store, I wouldn’t order from there, disappointed considering I’ve eaten from here for last 5+ years.Have no pictures or food as dessert was relaxed and the rest was binned.

We offended hoilday in and around Brixham and is by far is the best kebab I have had . The chicken my recommendation, lots of flavour and great value for money will be back again on our next visit to the area

We ate here at the end of a long night out and it filled a gap but to be honest it wasn't great. I had cheesy chips and chicken nuggets and the nuggets were tough and the chips were greasy. It was only drunken snacks to be fair, but it wasn't fit to be much else. It wasn't disgusting, as some have said here, but I've had much better. It wasn't particularly cheap either.

Travelled down last night and arrived too late for Simly Fish etc.. so we had little choice at 10pm to get fish and chips from here. What a mistake! We cannot believe that Brixham has the finest fresh fish on it’s doorstep and this place serves up such vile trash. It tasted nothing like the fresh sweet cod that is served up daily from the likes of Brixham Fish, Simply Fish, Rock etc.The fish was over cooked, it was way too hot to put in your mouth without burning your tongue. The fish was totally tasteless, could have been bought months ago and kept in a freezer because if you closed your eyes you would have no idea what was in your mouth. Well as for the batter, it was roasting hot and hard on the outside with a vile sickly after taste.Buy fish here at your peril.

Once again all I wanted was a night in with a takeaway but was awful. So ordered of the just eat app. Which was great easy to us. Everything on there sounded appetising. My boyfriend order chicken nuggets and chips which when arrived and he ate one was stale. I tried the same one and it was stale. He wasn’t very happy and said the ring up. Being me and I don’t normally like to leave bad reviews decided that we should try another one. Which they ended up being all stale. Disappointed! Moving onto my meal which was the chicken burger and chips. Which I’ve had there before which I loved. I opened it up and the bun was soggy. Not being fussy but I really can’t stand soggy bread. Especially when it felt and tasted like you had dropped it in water. Made me cringe and feel abit iffy. Chips were okay and lastly the garlic pizza bread was okay too. Sorry to leave a rubbish review but hopefully this was either stop people ordering from there or helps you improve your food. Many thanks

Return customers. Food normally very good. Delivery always fast and friendly. Just a note that we ordered pizzas last week and there was far too much cheese on them; half the amount would suffice. Very happy with the Brixham Grill and will continue to recommend to others. Easy on the cheese though!

Yes, there are a few people on here who like to "dis" this place, but all I can say is that we order from here regularly and are happy to do so again.In all the times we have ordered food from here, I think that we have had 1 meal delayed and 1 meal not as hot as we would otherwise have like it, but every other time they have been on the money with quick delivery and hot, tasty food. Pizzas are really good, chips are fine and I love the kebabs. In all I am pretty satisfied.

The owner and staff are great the man from Brazil was so funny and was so helpful he could not believe I was 60

Recently had some take away food from the grill bar and the food was Luke warm and loads of fat on the food. Poor taste on the small amount I tried and then threw the rest away.

Ordered a large lamb shish kebab at £7.80 expecting a lovely tasty tea. The lamb tasted stale, there was hardly any salad and a very small pitta bread. To be honest I felt ripped off. We were on holiday down from the Forest of Dean and this kebab was not a patch on what is available at home. No competition I guess!

Best chips, not soggy. Good portions and very reasonable prices. They do practically everything so plenty of choice. They even deliver for a small charge.

Basically, my family and me had a night in, and decided to try Brixham grill fish bar, I am actually very shocked at what we got when it arrived... we ordered 2x fish&chips;, and 2 fish cakes and chips, the WORST decision I've made, got the order even tipped the driver!! Un wrapped what we ordered, there was 2 black hairs all over the chips and inside the fish!! Unwrapped the fish cake, all looks okay.. opened it up and a black hair in it, it also looked like it had been dropped on the floor along with the chips as there was dirt and a bit of lettuce in there !!! Wish I had read the reviews before hand... absolutely shocked, discusting, SHUT THE PLACE DOWN ASAP!!

Hasta ahora tengo que decir que nunca he tenido una mala de ellos para llevar las pizzas son buenas - y variado, y el kebabs son sabrosos, además de piedra en una botella de la bebida. El personal aquí son sucios y sin modales. Muy caro. Patatas fritas son horribles como con el resto de la comida. Vimos al personal con sus manos en todo tipo de lugares en su persona, así que no son higiénicas. Como se puede adivinar, que probablemente no te puedo recomendar este lugar a cualquiera. .

No vayas aquí. La primera vez que fui estaba bien. Pedí pizza y fue bueno, pero para ser honesto la pizza era básico y no creo que era fresco. Un mes o así más tarde me decidí a comer en los bancos que tenían cerca de la barra. Normalmente tienen la entrega, pero esta fue mi primera vez de comer. Pedí una pizza de patatas fritas y que me iba a ahorrar y traer a casa conmigo, cuando estaba sentado comiendo, una pareja venía y Pedimos patatas fritas y una kebab, se fueron fuera y estábamos hablando a alguien que supongo que conocen. Vi el cocinero tome desde una nevera un aldi 89 p taza profunda y cocinar pizza mientras nadie estaba mirando. Sabía que había probado pizzas antes y tenía que pagar mucho más por lo que ya era. Básicamente se paga a alguien para preparar una pizza barata para usted. Lo peor era que también tenían chips baratos que parecía supermercado Aldi o otra marca. Vi que dejar nuggets de pollo en el piso y recogerlos y tipo de. . . . Rápidamente en el frier mientras él obviamente pensé que no estaba mirando. Otra cosa que quiero mencionar es que cuando estábamos haciendo el kebab la pareja ordenados, un chico siempre ponía su dedo es su boca. Me exigieron una restitución y fuimos a tesco enfrente y nos trajeron una comida mejor y más barato. Cuando solía tener llevar una vez que me dieron dolor de estómago realmente malo, pero continuó para comer de brixham parrilla porque pensé que era una indigestión. No vayas aquí. Hay maneras más fáciles de matar a ti mismo. . . .

Realmente buena para llevar en brixham, mucho para elegir, pizzas son siempre óptimos y patatas fritas son deliciosas! La entrega puede ser un poco caro. Sin duda, usar de nuevo!

We were staying at the John Fowler Holiday Park, South Bay. and after a long day out, we decided to order off Just Eat...huge mistake!took about 45mins-1 hour to deliver, which we had no problem with. We had spent over £35 to receive nothing but polystyrene trays full of grease. Everything we had ordered was either fatty or stone cold!After ringing the 'manager' back, he was very unprofessional huffing down the phone saying it was our fault it was greasy?We didn't ring for a refund or to get fresh food, we rang so that they were aware of what was leaving their kitchen!Absolutely appalled by this, worst take out I've ever had. don't even waste your time let alone your money!!!!!

Been out all day and needed a kebab to finish the night off. Had a wonderful large Donna kebab and Denise had what only be described a succulent chicken shish. All served up in a lovely bread and fresh salad wrap. Will use this place all the time when in Brixham.

the only thing I have tried I am not keen on is their pizza, but that is only because I like thin crust and they only do deep bases. We have used them regularly for 13 years and have never been disappointed. Staff always friendly, and when we have home delivery, always on time, always hot. They are not mean with their portions either, small is plenty big enough for me !

The food was tasty and delivered in an acceptable amount of time but this is the second time Brixham Grill has forgotten to deliver something we ordered. Last time it was a food item, this time the 1.5L Diet Pepsi. This is unacceptable and we will not be inclined to order from them again.

Chips were cold, fish batter under cooked. Takeaway took a total of 1 and a half hours for fish and chips. The owner clearly need to reevaluate the companies ability to deliver even reasonable food. I strongly suggest every other chippy in Brixham or Doughys as a just eat alternative which is much better by comparison. A great shame for a local business I will definitely not be using again.

It's hard to find anywhere in Torbay where you can get a delivered meal which isn't Chinese or Indian. Unlike London or other major cities it's quite limited.Was feeling poorly and just fancied the comfort of a pizza! Absolutely delicious packed seafood pizza - delivered exactly when they said and still hot.Nothing to fault. Free local delivery is a bonus too.
