The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

I've tried a lot of fish and chips in london and this is by far the best. Complimentary fries while you wait for your take away and excellent service!

Absolutely dreadful the food made me feel sick, we ordered chips, steak and kidney pie, pineapple fritter, and chicken tandori, the salad on the chicken was very clearly unfresh definitely more than 2 days old, i watched them take the chips out of the frier and they looked no different to when they went in (raw) so i told them to put the chips back in. And yet again they where raw…again. The pineapple fritters where definitely unfresh and more than 3 days old, i had to go home and RE FRY THE CHIPS, the steak pie was ice cold. The only part that was half decent was the chicken tandori witch after i reheated it was actually mediocre.

This lovely chip shop was great only 2nd time visiting it's 17 miles from home but great lovely staff good food and very cost effective in this time of everyone being poor keep your friendly staff going makes a big impact xx

Ordered fish and chips for family of 6 and waited expectantly they took a bit longer than was quoted but have to say they turned us round from grumbling to being full of praise the person delivering was so very apologetic and gave us the most delicious chips and the fish was beautiful also the pie the kebab and the mini fish got rave reviews . Good old fashioned politeness and fab customer service means we will go back and we will also tell everyone else to do the same well done 3 A

I am going to share an honest review, however, it is partially a bad one. Not sure if the shop has been taken over, but regular chips was not regular. It was in a small tray whereas before it was in a bag. Not enough for 2 people. I really enjoyed the chip shop before and was looking forward to eating my meal. Tonight’s meal cost me over £32, not good I’m afraid. Chicken was good though - sorry 😔

This place does the best fish and chips.

What a gem this little bar/restaurant is. Full of character. The veggie Scouse is so tasty and comforting. The staff are absolutely fantastic and couldn't do more for you. Highly recommend if you are visiting Liverpool - it's superb! Enjoy!

They were absolutely beautiful tonight

Totally discussed with this place.. thought was coming to nice cafe to have lunch with my family.. we been waiting almost 25 minutes for our food. I asked several times why our food was taking so long????? The manager creepy kept looking behind freezer but didn't want to respond. Instead sends his girl staff to apologise for delay in food. But perfectly serving customers outside efficiently????

Lovely welcome. Portion size good. Fish was very tasty and perfectly cooked with crispy batter. Sausage and chips also very good. Would happily visit again.

Service incredibly slow. Food average. Prices high. No hint given that there would be a delay. Quality distinctly average.

La visita fue inaceptable. El personal era insultante, desdeñoso y poco profesional, algunos incluso recurrieron a comentarios sarcásticos cuando se les hicieron preguntas simples. Hubo una visible falta de coordinación, y el equipo parecía más centrado en charlar entre ellos que en ayudar a los invitados. El servicio fue dolorosamente lento, con largas esperas tanto para bebidas como para comida. Cuando la comida llegó, estaba fría y de muy mala calidad, definitivamente no vale la pena el precio. Para empeorar las cosas, el lugar estaba sucio. Los baños eran especialmente vergonzosos: sucios, malolientes y claramente no se revisaban o limpiaban regularmente. El ambiente general entre el personal era tenso y desagradable, creando un ambiente negativo en todo el restaurante. Definitivamente no volveré, y no recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que busque una experiencia gastronómica agradable

Terrible food, curry sauce bland and not like a traditional curry sauce. Chips are not like traditional chips from a chippy and the bread rolls are burger buns. So poor.

Honestly the best fish and chips. Always fresh, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have eaten there a lot and never had a single issue with the food. I would highly recommend.

Lina was lovely and made us feel so welcome. She makes amazing fish and chips and is such a positive person. Worth every penny :)
