I have used this chippy for years. Used to be renowned for high quality fish and chips. Just wasted the best part of £20.00 on two portions of greasy undercooked chips, meagre pieces of tasteless fish (cod or panga I don’t know for sure) bulked up with undercooked batter. Peas were ok. Not value for money. Won’t be going again, ever. Happy Good Friday.

Went last Thursday dinnertime. 2nd day of trading since reopening. Ordered fish and chips. The fish batter had no real colour and was really soggy. Worst fish I have ever had by a long chalk, and the chips were not much better. Would give it 2/10 and that's being generous. Cost £5. They seriously need to up their game. This used to be one of the best chipped in Ashton.

Ordered a fish strip meal deal, the fish strips were nicely done and the chips were to die for! And the curry sauce was really nice! The staff are so friendly and the service was top notch, I highly recommended it!

Great non greasy cooked to order fish and chips along with other meals. Batter always crispy. Staff always friendly and helpful.

I was gonna slate them, asked for Fish, chips and gravy, don't do gravy. OK then fish, chips and peas, don't do peas, Only what's on the menu. OK Fish and chips then, ooh and hash browns please, clearly on the menu on the side of the bus. No hash browns. I got the meal, "WTF" frozen chips?. But I was hungry, so I ate it. Fish was fantastic, Chips were OK for frozen good job I got dips with it. So reprieved, I would eat it again, good price also, Fish,chips meal £7.50 Inc drink, salad and 2 dips.

Brilliant and always cooked fresh. Good portions and great service! Chicken Kebab lovely :) Staff always friendly. Best chippy in the area.

We stayed at the Tufton Arms Hotel and decided to book a table here. It was okay. Decent range of choices and food tasted okay but....service, decor etc was pretty basic.

We ate here as its local to out holiday house and it was a really warm welcome. Arrived early as we had tried to go for a walk but it was freezing. The pub was so friendly, they put all our wet clothing on the radiator. Dog friendly and home cooked food with a small menu which I imagine changes regularly.

Excellent fish and chips , peas however tasted more like tinned peas rather than mushy peas , only negative. Good sized portions, we could have shared chips and just got an extra fish , proper chips

Fuimos aquí esta noche para té, como no hay comida en la casa. China más cercana a mí. Pedimos pollo al curry no setas, arroz al huevo frito y una porción de patatas fritas. El curry de pollo era bastante frutas, buena degustación Sin embargo el pollo gustos barato y difícil. Arroz de huevo frito y patatas fritas eran decentes. porción masiva sin duda tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. Cuesta 6,80 libras por todo esto.

Excellent stay, excellent service...group of 6 plus doggy...rooms were all fabulous. Kayleigh served our meal in the restaurant last night and breakfast this morning..she was so kind and helpful and made our stay a wonderful experience.Thank you do much.

The Fish and Chips are still good, in fact I thought the Chips were awesome👍. That said, charging £11 for a Cod (small), Chips (again small) and Curry - was just over-priced 👎
